So, Anyone else out here jammin out to music from the actual era we're playing in? I am, I'm constantly jammin out to music from the 20's, 30's and 40's. :) It's just so catchy and easy to move to. From The Rat Pack, Louis Prima, Lou Monte, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Louie Armstrong and so on and so forth. It really helps me get into the vibe/zone of the game so to speak. So, anyone else out here doing the same? That's my question. Or am I the only one doing that? I sure hope not.

Fantastic music - so some days I do the same when I play from home. Of course not sure if having musical tastes in common with me is good since most music I like is older than I am... |

I listen to A LOT of music from the era... However, I also listen to: Postmodern Jukebox! They do some really awesome covers in MULTIPLE styles (including those from this era) of newer and more up to date songs. They are simply amazing! |

I'd have to agree Flexx. Music helps me focus and kinda bleeds out the other distractions of my days. It's really nice and lets me zone in to the writing block. Who else jams to the era we write? Or, to add on, if you -don't- listen to time specific... What DO you listen to, what helps set your mood? |

The Rat Pack included five members, Peter Lawford, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop. I love all their music. |
