Love, was there anything more wonderful then it?

No, there wasn't. MS was sure of it. Before she had fallen in love with Zane, she was confident real love didn't exactly exist for the modern and realistic sort of girl. So naturally it was quite the surprise when she fell in love with her best friend’s brother. It had been rather strange at first, but now she couldn't see herself with anyone else. MS had known Zane her whole life, he had seen her go through tantrums, puberty, and the awkward stages of life. They had never seen each other as more than a brother or sister simply because of Amelie. Amelie was MS's closest friend and the two girls were closer than most sisters.

Last year Zane had come home from college for a school break. He had unfortunately, though MS now saw it as rather fortunate, brought his girlfriend Candace. It was easy to see how horrid the girl was, and yet Zane was with her simply because he was being a typical guy. Candace was hot, had quite a busty chest, and would do it just about anywhere. She was the perfect girlfriend, and MS and Amelie hated her. Amelie hated her because her brother was being an idiot and could have someone so much better, and MS hated her because she had been jealous.

There had been a particularly nasty thunderstorm the night MS had slept over, and Amelie had conveniently disappeared. MS hated thunder, it scared her to the point of tears. She couldn't help but crawl in with Zane, and that was it. The two clicked, Zane dumped Candace, and the two easily began to just see each other. MS was thrilled that Amelie had finally gotten together with Kyle, as the two had obvious chemistry, but MS was constantly forgetting she had other friends when she was with Zane. She loved every part of their relationship, the physical, the emotional, and the cute little things they did for each other that wouldn't matter to others.

That was why today was special. They had been together for almost a year now and Zane said he had a surprise for her. MS used to hate surprises, but with Zane, she had fallen in love with them as he had never disappointed her. She wasn't quite sure what to get him to celebrate being together a year, and luckily she didn't have to think too much about it for a couple more days.
