This is very cute, and I'm sure many of us appreciate the attempt but lets let the remaining Generals and Leaders continue the talks in private. End of the day it really isn't a thug's place to be coming to the streets and attempt to start what seems to be almost a petition to end the war. Damn hippies.

As the blood can be seen flowing down the streets of all cities the gunshots slowly begin to fade away. Whispers from civilians  could be heard all around as they wonder if and when shelter will be available.

Peace is a thing most wish for, but some will defend the honor of the dead until they fall down as well.

So common sense would then be to not come out to the streets and cry peace right? To sit back and watch what the current powers do. Correct?

I have to agree with DanielTosh that the practicalities are impacting enough that it's best left to private corridors.
That said. Whatever the outcome, whoever will decide what peace looks like. I envision that we will talk about that freely upon this streets.

Many people died. Many people joined our streets anew. Nothing is certain, but with it, beauty shimmers at the horizon. This is our fucking time. This is our moment to shape what we want. Each of you plays a role in that. Play the fucking role. Define peace. Define ideals. Define dreams. Define tomorrow.

By all means they need us just as much as we need them. That's where loyalty and respect come in to play."
