Doom was strolling through the streets of New York, watching as police were coming in and out of houses and escorting nothing out but dead bodies and also people sweeping the streets, it was like a citywide crime scene and there was people watching as they did in extreme awe, probably the most bloodiest war to hit cities for a long time. He made his way to his grandfather's old HQ and walked inside while there was no one inside and strolled to his office as per his instructions, reaching down under the desk to slide a box out and take it with him; luckily no one took it before he had arrived. There was a lot of rumors spreading that New York were the first ones to issue the strike but that tells you a lot of what happens when you fail to communicate, you fail to communicate then no one knows your true intentions and whether they consider you a friend or enemy, ally or foe, thoughts spread through a commission of leaders and these thoughts may be full of fearful scenarios, anxiety fills in within one another and it just does nothing but let you snap, or was it due to other reasons? Whatever they were, it lead to the death of his grandfather but people spoke of him for being loyal and helping people from left to right and supporting their causes, making a lot of friends over the year and quickly getting used to how they were. The death of the most recent Chairman Insomnia left people with little choice on what most officials needed to do. There's a cycle to everything and when it leads to citywide wars? The results are that blood gets left on the streets, along with shell casings and leaving family to mourn them and then continue with their lives after a while: some stand there with the truth, others stand there being in denial but that was a story for another time. Doom walked out towards a cafe out on down the street near a police precinct: The cafe had their building designed to make it have more of a "calm" feeling, the owner had this built out of an old lot by chatter from other people next to him, he couldn't help but to eavesdrop though it was more out of curiosity. People only just started walking inside after it was reopened due to the recent shootings that took place which lead him to take a walk inside for himself. Booths were being cleaned out and he went to the one all the way in the back to separate himself from the normal occupation. The way his grandfather spoke of the guy made it seem like they were the best of friends that shared the same complex issues which is better because it's someone that understands exactly what your'e going through and when you work with someone to accomplish greater things it'll stick with you for a long time. His name was TM, but there was no way certain that he would even come. And if he did? They'd have a lot to talk about. |

It was no secret, despite being the former Prince of Los Angeles, TM’s grandfather wasn’t born in Los Angeles. In Fact he had been born in a humble hard working household in Brooklyn. The city always had some sentimental value to his grandfather nothing like his beloved home of course but still. That type of sentimentality rubbed off on the impressionable young TM, as he decided to embark on an adventure to a city he had never seen before a city with so much rich history. TM’s plane landed on the tarmac and already he could see even the humble airport had seen better days. Devistarion had blown through then country to this thing of ours that nobody could Sorber in denial about. However TM was one who remained optimistic for the future, despite the horrors he witnessed growing up or the ones within his own family. And with that sense of positive outlook and a burn of cocaine he set off to visit his grandfathers childhood home first. It was here growing up in the humble streets of Brooklyn did TM meet to whom he would know well within the underworld later in both of the men’s career. Dooms Grandfather Late Don Obito, and His were both set up by thenold commmision on the same day. Both faced the trials and tribulations of fledgling crews and all the things that came with the politics of the world. Fateful events would not have them put against eachother, TM’s grandfather taken before the real chaos before the world burned. These thoughts running through the young mans head having read his grandfathers journals to a T. Attention to detail a pride of his and his family when it camera to historical things. The thing about the most loyal soldiers despite what futures awaited there sons and daughters part of there kin tended to return home from time to time. Seeing the sons and daughters of some of the people Jen knew from New York interested the young mafioso greatly. Having grown up in conflict his need for civilized behaviour the evermore evident by his actions. Deciding to follow his grandfathers journals advice and visit the old headquarters of the former Don Obito. Upon arrival he could already see the footprints in the shell casings as people trampled through the chaos. Scenes like these only described in the journal and even more grizzly scenes. However he was in search for what in all intensive purposes believed his counterpart, Don Obito grandson. Something telling him the man was here, call it intuition or what’s have you but something told TM, yes the guy was here. Only knowing Doom bun name via the journals he approaches a young man facing away from him. ”You’ve got to be Doom... I mean why else would you be here right? Unless I’m wrong but.. if you knew my grandfather he wasn’t wrong bout much.. sure you can say the same thing no? So... ? What should be the topic at hand hmmm?” |

Life was moving on every second of everyday and regardless of how long it has been, life will always be considered short and as you age you move a year closer to death which isn't very promising and sure, you have a celebration to congratulate you on being older but there's always a pro and a con to it. Doom's grandfather Obito was willing to put his life on the line for the people he was leading, as he always stated: As a leader, you need to learn from the mistakes of others, not your own. The influx of issues that Obito and TM had to deal with when they were new and upcoming family leaders were difficult but it was never impossible to hit it with a breakthrough. All it needed was the right people. Doom opened the box and proceeded to take out the journal that was inside as he read through it, this noted the life of his own grandfather from the day he landed in New York to the day where it thought it was his end but of course it wanted someone to find it, relative or even his own blood; regardless this was full of important information to survive in the world, and that loyalty was everything regardless of the circumstance. It is better to be remembered as a loyal soldier than someone who has been overtaken by greed, they will always be wise words. As he was reading through the second page, a man walked up and approached him. It was TM and as he studied his appearance before inviting the man to sit across from him as he closed the journal and set it in the box, closing it off and putting it beside him as Doom gave TM a smile to acknowledge his presence. "You're talking to the right guy. You must be TM? My grandfather talked a lot about yours, faced the same issues when they were both upcoming leaders, different cities but regardless shared the same intent as the next man. It's glad to finally meet you since I don't know many people here besides hoping to meet late relatives." Doom pauses to look out the window, he needed the time to think before snapping back to TM. "How have you been?" |

Upon any introduction he was faced with, friend or business associate TM had always made the first kind gesture. Extending his arm to shake Doom’s hand firmly. There was something about the hand shake tho, as a small rift of time opened up and for a split second he could have sworn it wasn’t his grandfather and Dooms shaking hands for the first time and not the young legacies. So much time and so many things have happened to the both of them, he could see it in his counterparts eyes with each passing look. Although his own struggles now more then likely diffident from his friends he could still see the enivirable signs of struggle. A talent that ran in his family like so many others the ability to pick up on things most tend to hide. Still this was just s friendly chat between new friends about the old days, that type of perception in his mind was t required. Pausing for a moment upon hearing Dooms words, nodding himself before he answers the question. ”As good as things can get I suppose, not a day goes by where I don’t find something that reminds me of what use to be. More importantly what could have and should have been for mennof honour like our grandfathers. But for the most part you just tackle things one day at a time, do what you can to carry on the values instilled with the utmost confidence. That’s how I see things and for the most part it’s been working.” Good days and bad days, as would be expected of any child who was born watching the conflict as he was. Knowing good and well off his own story was rocky he couldn’t only imagine all the other tales that were floating out there. But still the only story he wanted to hear was from his new friend. The whole dynamic of what’s had happened between their two cities still bringing questions not only to gonself but others he was sure. But TM was insistsnt I’m getting the young man so persoectice, anything to expand his knowledge on the past. To make damn sure the mistakes aren’t repeated in the future. ”Sometimes i counts mt blessing that my grandfather didn’t but see the worlds he loved devolve into a pot of such chaos and dispair. Man spent his whole life trying to build up this thing of ours, to inspire others in taking a more hands on approach. I would like to believe sitting here today that he had accomplished atleast a fraction of his goals. And speaking as a proud grandson I sincerely hope you can say the same about your grandfathers ambitions. But the topic of hand remains the conflict... Your grandfather keep any journal entries on it?” It was obvious his chance meeting and the potential to find out what he needed to know drew more and more of the young mobsters interest. Although the journal from his grandfather mentioning late Don Obito, the records were incomplete, both men finding less and less time to chat as heir families expanded. But still it was a nice thought none the less hat the initial initiation of both men into the life, the trials and just the respect they had held the friendship together. TM removing a flask from his jacket popping off the top as he has a swig offering a nip to his counterpart DoctorDoom |

Doom took up on TM's offer and grabbed the flask and took a few sips, everything about this meeting was spitting back memories already when in the journal entry his grandfather mentioned meeting TM and explaining how they always met the same issues and had the best of laughs whenever they went out into clubs and got drunk. Nothing like two crew leaders with the same midlife crisis hashing it out over a good bottle of whiskey, or wine which is whatever was preferred. There were a lot of rumors out there about what was going on and how this was caused, only a few people know the true story but unless somebody was ignorant enough to start filling the public with false information then it would've came out sooner than later. "But for the most part you just tackle things one day at a time, do what you can to carry on the values instilled with the utmost confidence. That's how I see things and for the most part it's been working." TM wasn't wrong, most of the business he's been conducting was really more of the "a little here, a little there" type of deal. People experience deja vu sometimes and it was happening now almost like they were already the best of friends within a single conversation. TM mentioned if his grandfather had made any journal entries, who wouldn't? Doom reached over to the box that was next to him sitting there practically collecting dust slowly. He took the lid off and reached out for the journal and handed it over to TM, there was a page missing but surely it didn't have anything important on there considering Obito had written many entries in the journal; it'd take you forever to finish reading through all of it in a single day but whatever was there was what they both had. Many of the entries dictate the amount of people they've met up to him getting the bump to lead a crew of his own and getting closer to the late Insomnia and Bubbles: He spoke of them as the best of friends and the interactions were pretty good for what it was. Life is too short to not be able to hang out with your friends every now and then: friends is what you needed to survive in this world or allies as others called it. "Our grandfathers were really the best of friends. Took a read through the entries before I came here but there's so much to read you wouldn't finish that even in a week; but it still is really glad to still meet you, my friend. I'm afraid I'm not sure when we'll have more time to talk as they need to rebuild and the leaders are gonna need everyone to help out and you can't really blame them, if it was our grandfathers they probably would've been needing everyone back to their aid. Who knows, maybe we'll get to do a job together?" Doom gave TM a smile. |

Jobs and the prospect of making money, sky high stacks of cash was the name of the game, or so it use to be before all the bloodshed and violence consumed everything. But even still the young man was out seeking his opportunities, or any opertunity for that matter that would propel him ahead in this life we live. Collaboration with some of the communities finest have always steered him in the right direction, the amount of profits and trust that can be built just by doing a successful job. So when Doom mentioned the prospects of a little team up the young mafioso couldn’t help but smirk. ”You know, or you might have heard about my ambitions to flood this country with premium cocaine once again. Could always use some extra help getting things started. Word on the street is there is an old storehouse filled with crates of the stuff. Now if the junkies haven’t gotten to it yet, we are sitting on a nice haul for both our respected cities. However I get a taste of the profits of distribution. When the time comes I’m sure we can negotiate something that is fair to all parties my friend. However to stroll down memory lane with you for a bit I got something here I think you might enjoy.” Most people would assume he was reaching for some coke to share with the man, perhaps another flask with a different type of liquor. Wrong on all accounts, still moved by Dooms willingness to share some of the thoughts of his grandfathers good friend, TM had decided to share a little something himself. Placing a polished wooden box on the table his eyes on Dooms, making his new friend think perhaps there was something sinister lurking in the box. Taking the time to open it TM reveals his grandfathers crew banner unfolding it and sprawling it on the table for the young man to see. ”Recognize this my friend? Should be a blurb or something in the journals about this I would hope. Your grandfather designed and had this made for mine. Safe to say my grandfather was a better cook then he was a tailor. The original banner too, made damn sure when my grandfather fell husband soldiers tucked it away. And there it remained untill today. Please by all mean do peruse.” The box still not empty it filled with small momentos from Thebes past, his grandfathers PM armband still with the blood soaked in, a few photographs as-well. The little time capsule opened after so much time hidden from the public. TM takes his flask back leaning back into his seat as he has a generous sip of its contents. Enjoying the warm feeling he got when he had a drink, however drinking one thing and within moments he was snorting a line off the table. Being mindful and respectful not to get any coke on any of the artifacts present. |

Sometimes taking a trip down memory lane could be a good or bad experience depending on what gets brought up, Doom listened to TM talk about bringing in some of that premium cocaine back into the country and how the profits could be split between both cities, the offer was fair considering he was the one who brought it up and is going through with the plan; to have a taste that is and it would also give Soom an opportunity to kick up some money to his boss, DarGabrielson. He watched as TM pulled out a wooden box and revealed the contents inside to him which was a crew banner that families show off to signify who they are, the banner was well designed. His grandfather, Obito, always had a knack for being a tailor; sending Doom letters on how the suits he made practically brought in a lot of business yet it was the late Chairman Insomnia who had put him up to the task to show off his skills and hopefully make some decent money off it. He was taught on how to properly size a suit long ago but has never recently had the time to put his skills to the test, he admired the banner that was made for TM's grandfather, hopefully the same deal can be made in the future when the time is right. "I can help you with your cocaine distribution, friend. It's a fair offer and I like the banner that my grandfather made for yours, seems very well designed and was shown off well I would hope. You can give me a ring when you wanna get your plan under way and when the time comes, you can expect my aid." |
