BudKnight slowly but sure made his way along the river in Seattle, some workers gave him odd looks as he rode by on his stallion. He was not sure why. Possibly it was due to the fact that he was riding a horse through the docks and interrupting work, but he assumed it was due to them being struck with awe at his amazing suit of armor and his fine steed. "Hey man! Can you get that thing outta here!?" A dock worker yelled. Quickly with one motion he unsheathed his sword and swung it to within a millimeter of the mans throat.... "I apologize good sir, I do not believe I heard you addressing me with the right tone. I am a Noble Knight of Seattle of course. I would assume that a commoner such as yourself would know his place around these docks. I work for the noble Jasmine as well as having associations with the noble KingRevan. The mightiest of Kings." Bud looked down upon the man to await his reply. "Listen man, I don't want no trouble. I don't really know what the hell you're talking about, but I know Jasmine runs these docks now so I'll stay out of your way." The man backed up and went around the horse to continue with his work. Although he was not entirely satisfied with the man's response, he felt that as long as he had shown respect towards Jasmine he could continue on his journey. Now on his way again, Bud was hopeful to complete his quest. He finally arrived at his destination so it was only now a matter of finding what he was looking for. In front of him stood "Blooter's Seafood Imports" which was a store front that his father and his father's late friend owned together. He had something shipped here prior to the events which took the life of his father. Something incredibly important. As he entered he saw all the different varieties of fish available and thought to himself that he may need to get some on his way out to roast over the first this evening. Eventually he made his way out the back into the storage yard where crates, cars, and guns were set up everywhere. In the yard stood OchAye who had clearly taken over the business and possibly Bud would too, but he could not think of that now. His quest was too important. He went from crate to crate reading the labels until he found one large crate with a label reading....
"Ah yes! This is the one!" He looked around until he found a few workers standing next to another crate, "You! Yes you over there. I shall need your assistance in opening this crate. I'd use my sword to pry it open, but I do not want to damage her with such a task." He grabbed a crowbar from one of the gentlemen and began to assist them with taking off the lid of the crate. They all put their force into it and "POP" went the lid as it flew off. They began to remove the extra packing stuff which was used for protecting the object inside.... FINALLY they revealed it. The most glorious object to ever grace the vision of mankind. The Round Table. It was found in an archaeological dig site where King Arthur was rumored to have had his kingdom. Although with some expertise and a lot of money BudKnight had it refurbished and upgraded. Within the center of the table sat a new beer cooler where he could place his magnificent drinks for all to share as they joined him at the table. They opened the crate next to it as well to reveal some stunning chairs carved out of the finest wood. These chairs would be placed around the table for his fellow Knights, Lords, and Noblemen to join him. It would make a fine addition to the Absolution Headquarters. Although Jasmine was not aware of this decision and would be surprised when it shows up in their lounge area displacing all the other furniture elsewhere. "Thank you gentlemen. I'd like this brought to Absolution Headquarters as quickly as possible. I cannot wait any longer to see this magnificent table set up and put to use." He handed each man a hundred dollar bill and made his way back towards home... As he made his way out of Blooter's Seafood Imports he procured a couple of catfish to cook for his fellow Seattle mafioso tonight. It was not his ideal meal as he did not kill the beast himself, but it would have to do. The future would hopefully be bright and filled with many great noble quests! |
