ShoNuff was still grieving the death of his father but knew he had to move on.  He decided to get out a Philly awhile and venture to Detroit.  When he arrived he hooked up with an old friend and joined The Direwolves crew.  Seemed luck was on his side because both @Arya_Stark  and @TulipDubois told him about a lounge that just closed down and was for available to rent or purchase.

He went and checked out the place and it was perfect for him.  He paid the owner a handsome price for it and rounded up a construction crew paid them almost double the amount to get the job done as quickly as possible.   The place was much bigger than it looked from the outside.  He replaced the bar with mahogany wood, added some ventilated private booths in the back with curtains, renovated the small kitchen and added some poker tables in the back room.  He made the office look almost the way his Father was back in Philly.  Mr. Ripley the old owner still had a stock of liquor so he purchased what he had until he was able to find his own supplier.

Within hours he came back to see his new sign in flashing lights.

Good Times Roll

When he went inside you could hardly believe the transition.   Money really talks around here he thought to himself.  It was almost completed. There were people going every which way.  He spoke to the head foreman and he assured him everything will be completed by tomorrow afternoon. 

He quickly called @Arya_Stark  and @TulipDubois to tell them the good news and told them to stop by even though he wasn't completely open yet folks were welcome.

He thought to himself let the Good Times Roll.

Wow, what a difference a day makes as ShoNuff walked into his newly renovated Good Times Roll lounge.  He walked into his office and sat behind his desk thinking about all he had to do.  Roscoe and BigMoe will be arriving  from Philly this afternoon to help him get things set up.   He sent word to @Arya_Stark, Heartless, TulipDubois and Obsidian to stop by tonight for a mini grand opening,

LilRay walked into the office to tell him had a visitor, a pretty lady by the name of @JoliBebe. I walked out of the office to greet her.

Hello there my first customer.  My name is ShoNuff it's a pleasure to meet you as I extended my hand. 

BigMoe and Roscoe walked into the Good Times Roll and saw ShoNuff sitting at the bar.  When ShoNuff turned and saw them he could hardly contain his tears.  As he walked over to Moe and fell into his arms

Man is so good to see you.

Moe just held him for a little while

Man it’s good to see you too.  Wow brother you got this place looking good.  It was good for you to get out of Philly for a little while.  I knew all the memories of your Father would take a toll on you. Not that you can forget but coming to Detroit will give you time to concentrate on other things.  I think that’s what you really need and this is what your father would have wanted.  Things in Philly are being handled and you don’t have to worry about that.

It should look good it cost me enough. He then turned to Roscoe and hugged him

Well man you better get to work

I am ready man.  As Roscoe looked around the place.  Looks like things are pretty much in order.  I will check out your stock, see what else we need, and we will be ready to go. 

I got another one of those big jukeboxes like the ones back in Philly.  We can get music from there until I hooked up some type of entertainment.

Moe turned to ShoNuff

Man I know you fucking hooked us up with somewhere stay.

Well hell yeah, I got a 3 bedroom apartment not far from here. It's not the Goliath Hotel but we can crash there until we figure things out.  See if we want to find something more permanent.   Just throw your things in the back room for now. 

Let’s get this place jumping.

Criseria had came to Detroit on business and that night she decided to stop by a new place called Good Times Roll Lounge opened by the son of Sho_Nuff named after the Don himself. ShoNuff, has opened the lounge with a nice mahogany bar and as you enter it is very nicely decorated. 

"ShoNuff, I love what you have done with this place, It is nice to meet you, I had the pleasure of meeting your father before a great man, I am looking forward to getting to know you. While I am here do you think I could get a Fuzzy Navel with top shelf vodka?"

Well, it's very nice to meet you also Criseria and thank you for the kinds words about my Father.  He motioned at Roscoe.

Bring the lady one of those Fuzzy ones with premium Vodka.  as he turned back to Criseria

It's nice to meet some of my father's friends, especially the ones who don't live in Philly.  It's kind of why I wanted to venture out a little.  I do believe he has mentioned you.  Are you from LA right?   Yeah, you are from LA,  I can tell, you have that west coast charm. 

Roscoe brings Criseria her drink and seats it on the table.

A Fuzzy Navel with added vodka is called a Hairy Navel.

They all just laughed.

"Of course, nothing but good things to say about him.   Yes, I am from Los Angeles and this world can be a big place and it is nice to venture out and explore it sometimes."  Criseria nods her head thinking about her own start, since her mother was from right here in Detroit and how she had moved to Los Angeles after he mother's passing. "Thank you Roscoe for that drink and ShoNuff how are you enjoying your new adventures now that you have set out?"

Well, Detroit has been good so far.  Luck has been on my side. I was lucky that my friends @Arya_Stark  and TulipDubois told me about this place being vacant and able to work out a deal and the renovations so fast. Of course, I am no stranger to the entertainment business. 

I will be doing a lot of traveling back and forth to Philly but it's all good.  I love being busy.  

Hey, how about another Hairy one for my lovely friend and a shot for me he shouted out to Roscoe.

So what brings you to Detroit Criseria?  Bussiness, pleasure, or a little of both?

The man walks up to the bar ordering beers for everyone present.

Just put it on my tab, It'll be taken care of by the end of the night.

He walks back to their table and raises his glass.

Salud.

Criseria smiles at ShoNuff. "Thank you for going ahead and getting brought on over for me, I was getting a bit low on my drink.  I am glad to hear that you will be doing some traveling in the near future, and yes you grew up with your father in the Entertainment industry so I bet you know all the ins and outs, and the best ways to handle stuff." 

Roscoe brings the drink on over to her, and she takes a sip and enjoys it for a moment before continuing. 

"I am running here on bit of both. If I have to do business might as well take some time to have a bit of pleasure thrown in as well. We can't always be all work and no play. Do you ever head out to LA? If so please don't hesitate to stop by and see me sometime, It is always nice seeing friends."

ShoNuff had finally got things square away in Philly with Brick House Entertainment and made his way back to Detroit.   He had run into Marie_Lucania earlier and told her about The Good Times Roll Lounge he had opened, she told me she would stop by a little later.

There was a nice crowd in the Lounge. Everyone was just relaxed enjoying the, music from the jukebox, some were dancing.  I stand down in a booth in the back.  I motioned for Roscoe to bring me one. I sat back checking out  the people, waiting to see if I saw Marie.

Marie came into the lounge on Sal's arm and looks around.  When she sees ShoNuff she smiles and turns to say something to her fiancee.  Then they both walked back to where ShoNuff was sitting and joined him.  "Hello ShoNuff.  How are you this evening?  Have you met my finance, 'Lucky'  Salvatore_Luciano."

Lucky extends his hand to @Shownuff. 

"It's nice to meet you," he says shaking the man's hand. 

Lucky sits down next to @Maire_Lucania and orders them some drinks. 

ShoNuff sees Marie_Lucania enter the lounge and waves for her to come over.  When she reached the booth he stood up and greeted her with a hug.  After the exchange, she introduced me to her fiancé  Salvatore_Luciano.  I gestured for them to take a seat.

What’s up Lucky have heard a few things about you.  I do get around, both men laughed.  It’s really nice to meet you and congratulations to you both.  Roscoe brought me my drink and took the order from Lucky.

So what’s going on in Chicago these days and what brings you to Detroit?

"Lucky was here and found a business partner that was willing to help move some of product.  I caught the first fly out to go and meet him.  How about yourself?  What brings you to Detroit?  Everything going good in Philly?"  When Roscoe brought them their drinks she wrinkled her nose at the whiskey as it passed by her over to Lucky.  She thank Roscoe when he handed her the wine and she took a sip.

ShoNuff had to excuse himself for a couple of minutes but got back just in time as Roscoe was bringing the Champagne to the table.  He popped the cork and pour each of us a glass and place the bottle down on the table.  He lifted his glass to make a toast.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.  Congrats you two. They all took a couple of sips of the champagne.

Just a impluse thing. A couple of weeks ago I just need a break and came out here to chill with  @Arya_Stark and @TulipDubois.  They turned me on to this place, I had it renovated in no time and opened it up.  I call it fate.   Do you beleivein fate?  Like is it fate that you two are together?

Marie looked at Lucky and smiled.  "I don't know about fate, but I am glad that I meet Lucky.  I can't imagine my life with out him anymore."  She leaned over to kiss him on the lips.  Suddenly she felt a wave of nausea wash over her.  "Uhm if you two will excuse me a moment?"  She got up and went to the powder room.

ShoNuff stood up as Marie_Lucania kind of rushed off to the ladies room.

I hope she is ok Salvatore_Luciano.  Hope not too much champagne. He sat back to wait to see if Marie was doing alright. 

Lucky helped Marie_Lucania up and then he sat back down and turned to ShoNuff. 

"She will be fine. She has been dealing with it for a couple days now. I thought it was getting better but I guess it just flared up on her again" he is looking at the man. 

Lucky reaches over and takes a drink of whiskey before pulling out and lighting a cigarette. 

Marie comes back shortly and smiles to ShoNuff.  "I am so sorry.  I know we just got here, but I am not feeling well.  Would you mind terribly if I steal this guy so that we can go back to the hotel?"

Lucky got up from the table and they all said their good-byes and well wishes for the future.  Before Lucky walked her out of the lounge.
