Seems yo have upset some ppl but Im for this change, its up to each crew-leader to pick whoever he/she likes at what lvl they prefer without other should have any issue about this!

Eight months ago, this “temporary” change was instituted. It is to my understanding that this was done because of the usual May war that damn near kills everyone. Eight months ago, when the site had little to no trusted made or up to rebuild and lead us again. That time is far gone and over. We’ve recently experienced multiple rouges, who wanted to make change, as one of them stated something along the lines of ‘whoever auths Remy in 2019 will die’. He was tiered of the current leadership, so he shot remy. While I don’t know nor care who Remy is now he could be one of the characters created hours after death and was instantly rewarded with a position of power once again. This change makes rouges ineffective, cause hey even though i just shot that CL or hand who i fucking hate they’re right back where they were minus a gun and units. They still have that power that comes with being a hand, and it’s immediately given back to them. That lets everyone get passed over, take GiovanniFerrari for example (strictly for example, i am not singling this person or Joe out). Before 24 hours old, he was a hand for the acting godfather of Corktown. He didn’t earn that. All he did on this run so far was buy bodyguards... how the fuck did he earn a powerful position instead of any others that had helped with all those NPCs or help hunt the rouges or donated money and time to help build that district? That’s a slap in the fucking face to Joe’s members or at least that’s what they said it was and how can you blame them? It keeps the regime that is in place (during any given time this is in effect) to continue to be in control because they just give power to the same people who just got shot for being shitty.

In short it doesn’t matter what your past characters did, whether they rouged like Clank just did or they ran an extraordinary crew, if they just fucking signed back up they shouldn’t be in charge of people who’ve been here busting their ass for their leaders. It should only matter what their current character has done. If they’ve been a good hardworking person they at least deserve a consideration. Just because you get a text on whatsapp or a message on irc doesn’t mean you should be able to be a hand. Fuck if the CL doesn’t trust anyone in his crew that’s made and up to at least put them there for at LEAST 11 days then that dogshit CL shouldn’t be a CL (because they’re dogshit). Squishy please get rid of this temporary change.

It appears the majority who have spoken are for the proposed change. I'd like to see it taken a step further by instituting only a Don can be promoted to Crew Leader. But I guess that is another topic for suggestion.

Yeah this should be reverted. This was supposed to be a temp change and is long overdue

Yeah honestly if we're going to do that the profile now says RHM three times on the profile. Could we change the rank to maybe Underboss and advisor or something. Like the redundancy of it is unreal.

Can you keep it the old way for NPCs like the Durdens?
