Mynnes saw the door of the cafe fly open and Chase place in the duck as he then closed the door. People were panicking with the duck running amok in the cafe unsure of where it was going. Suddenly a tall dark and handsome man got up from his table and swooped up the duck to place it back outside. Mynnes grinned as she couldn't help but see the funny side as the man returned to the cafe "My hero!" she said sounding like some silly school girl for a brief moment as people began to applaud the gentlemen. She looked around and asked her waitresses to clean up the mess and make things okay, and promised a pay bonus in the process. "Coffees on the house" Mynnes shouted to everyone as she walked over to the gentleman "And you sir, may have anything you wish from the menu, thank you" she said as he replied "No problem".

Once Mynnes had sorted the cafe out, she went outside to find Chase in the state of laughter, the kind that forms tears. She looked at him as one of her guards went to go grab him "What do you want doing to him?" the guard said. Mynnes grinned "Oh never hurt him, we know one another but do help him to get 'lost'" she jested as she went on to explain to the guard and another one to take him to the maze. Mynnes went up to Chase and blindfolded him with a t-towel as the guards then scooped him up to take him up to the maze. She could hear Chase shout her name in panic. But the end of the day he knows she would never hurt him totally. The guards took him to the centre of the maze and told him to wait till the count of 20 before removing the blindfold as they got themselves out and back to the cafe "Job done boss" the guards said to Mynnes. She smiled "If no show of him by this evening please help him, after all, and I mean no offence, men and directions are never going to be the done thing!" she joked but was partially serious. She then went back to the cafe to see who was in need of serving.

Criseria had missed her dear friend Mynnes when she had stopped by her newstand and so she made it a point to stop by Lakeview Gardens and Cafe to see her friend while she was here in town. As she entered she still couldn't help but enjoy the wonderful view of the place.  She went over and got seated at the cafe and placed her order. "I would love to have some lemonade and tea cake and if you find the owner please let her know I am here." 

BlackPanther really was hungry he went to Lakeview Gardens and Cafe.

BlackPanther always loved the view also the food, he saw Criseria looking for Mynnes. He approached her and thank her for earlier. BlackPanther asked if she fancied sitting at his table with him whilst she waited.

"So do you come here quite a lot then, I have seen you about a few times but we have never really had a chance to actually sit down and talk, I have a proposal for you."

BlackPanther started to talk about the prospect of opening a business together at some stage and if she was interested it could bring in a lot of money.

Mynnes had been busy out in the back of the cafe where she was baking some new cakes and other delicacies when one of her staff came through "Just to let you know Mynnes, Criseria is in front" the waitress said to her, "Oh lovely thank you for the information" Mynnes replied with a big grin as she told her to make Criseria's order a top priority.

Mynnes got herself cleaned up and ensured she looked more presentable and no longer covered in flour and made her way out from the back of the cafe to go greet her dear friend. She could see BlackPanther was standing next to Criseria's table and decided she needed to intrude, it been so long since the ladies had time to themselves to catch up. Mynnes went over to the table "Excuse me, I am with Criseria we have some girly stuff to discuss" she said to the gentleman BlackPanther "You are welcome however for food on the house here, I am sorry for barging in here" she told him as she pointed to the menu for him to take a look at. BlackPanther tipped his hat as Criseria told him to write to her office.

The two ladies, Mynnes and Criseria greeted one another as Mynnes sat down opposite her. The waitress turned up with a lemonade and tea cake for Criseria to enjoy. "Same for me please" Mynnes said turning to the waitress with a smile as the waitress nodded to go get her the same. "So my lovely, what say we have our lemonades and tea cake and take a walk for some air?" Mynnes suggested to Criseria.

Criseria was ever so surprised when Mynnes came out from the back she was stunning as ever. Every eye in the place turned as she came out and it wasn't just because she owned it, though it definitely helped. She loved how she took charge when she got to the table it was nice to see the woman she had become her mom would be so proud! Heck Criseria was so proud! 

"Mynnes, so lovely to see you. Yes please let us finish our refreshments and it would be wonderful walk around and get some air with you. Have you done any exciting travels recently?"

As the ladies were catching up Mynnes lemonade and tea cake also arrived at the table "Thank you, you're a star" Mynnes said to the waitress who works for her. She turned back to @Criseria to answer her query on her travels "I have been to a few cities, and have enjoyed my time. Is nice to be here however" she replied to her in regard to the park. The ladies continued to gossip and giggle over some silly things. A few moments went by as they both finished their treats and Mynnes go up to nip behind the counter to grab two bags of crumbs to go back to Criseria and hand her one of the bags. "Come on lady, let me introduce you to Waddles!" she said to her as the ladies then linked arms to go exit the cafe.

They took a walk by the lake until they got to a bench to take a seat and started to talk some more "What about you Criseria, How are you doing?" Mynnes asked her as they began to throw some crumbs out to the lake for the ducks. It was then that Criseria realised who Waddles was as she spotted a duck bravely come out of the water waddling towards them, he then quacked at them "He won't hurt you he knows to wait till the crumbs on the ground, he seems to be the only one out of the ducks who try to communicate... that and he responds to his name!" Mynnes said with a giggle as she showed Criseria what to do. "So anyway back to how are you doing?" Mynnes asked again to put them back into the conversation.

Farmerboy16 wanted to check out Lakeview Gardens & Cafe to help support a crew mate of  his Mynness I would like to order a coffee with cream and sugar and sausage rolls please and he took a seat near the window to enjoy the view while he waits for his order to come.

Mynnes was still out feeding the ducks with Criseria when Farmerboy16 entered the cafe. Luckily she had the staff to depend upon to take care of it when she wasn't in. Farmerboy was told by one of them since he was working for the same place as Mynnes he would get what he wanted for zilch. A waitress soon got his order of coffee and sausage rolls ready and took it to his table "Enjoy Sir" the lady said to him as she went on to serve others.

_Dino_ made his way over to meet his friend and colleague Mynnes at her new enterprise "Lakeview Gardens & Cafe." It was an unusually warm day for this time of year and he had removed his jacket and slung it over his left shoulder. The grounds were immaculate and in full bloom. The gardens were very busy with families having picnics and young children squealing with delight as they chased after some ducks.

The lake looked wonderful and he wished he had his bathing suit to take a quick dip and cool off. As he walked near the perimeter he spotted some slices of bread which he duly picked up and went to the edge to feed some ducks that were making a beeline for him. Breaking it up into tiny pieces before long there were dozens of them, mallards, drakes and even some baby swans.

What _Dino_ hadn't realised is that adult swans are very protective of their young and he turned to look at the deafening noise approaching from the gardens to see two huge swans, wings spread charging at him. "SPLASH" as he lost his balance and toppled into the lake. Ducks scattered everywhere in a cacophony of sound alerting families and passers by to look over just as _Dino_ emerged from the water.

Kids were screaming in delight and parents sniggered as he made his sodden way over to the cafe. Upon entering the whole place stopped what they were doing and just stared at him. Mynnes stood there in the centre of the cafe, hands on hips. "Did you not read the sign? No swimming in the lake!" she said sternly before bursting into laughter and the rest of the cafe joined in.

"Stop dripping on my floor, I've just swept it. Go and sit outside to dry off and I'll bring you a coffee and a towel." she scolded.

_Dino_ did as he was told and squelched his way outside feeling sorry for himself and totally humiliated.

Mynnes was enjoying her chat with Criseria and they had both been sat for a while "Let's go back to the cafe to wash our hands and have some goodies?" Mynnes said to her as the ladies made their way back. They went to the cafe and Mynnes pointed to her the direction of the ladies. As Criseria was doing that Mynnes spoke to one of the waitresses "When my good friend comes back, please seat her over there and ensure she gets treated well. I will be joining her again soon" she said as she pointed to a table by the window that overlooked the lake.

She went out back to the kitchens to wash her hands and to check on somethings and gave a quick sweep through to the cafe when _Dino_ came running in soaked. She had then realised what has happened to him and joked to him he must of missed the sign of no swimming. She watched his face look out the window as if to say "What fucking sign?", there wasn't one. She sent him outside and ordered a coffee to follow him from one of her staff. She has always loved messing around with _Dino_. He had one of those personalities that you could not help but laugh at, whether it was cause he was tripping up somehow or like then falling in the lake after annoying some of the water fowls.

She couldn't help but feel sorry for him a bit, he had a look upon his face as he sat outside that reminded him as a small child sulking. It was then she had an idea as she nipped to the staff room to find some clothing. She went outside to him and demanded her followed her to behind the cafe where it was discret and quite. "Look you're soaked, take off your clothes, I will not look, tell me when you're ready" Mynnes said as she turned around so he had the reassurance she was at least ensuring the coast remained clear. "Done, pass me the clean clothes" he said as Mynnes tried not to giggle "Okay throw the wet ones so that they land in front of me" she said replying to him trying so hard to remain calm. _Dino_ didn't seem to think at that moment and just threw them over her to land where she had instructed. "Okay catch" she said as she threw the clean clothing over the back of her, she bent down to collect his wet ones and ran off. "MYNNES GET BACK HERE" she heard _Dino_ shouting at her, she shouted back_ "TO LATE.. But it was all that I could offer you and you don't want a cold right?". He had no other option other than to put on what she had thrown to him to wear. He pulled it over his head and made his way back to the cafe "Could of least got me a wig too" he said in a sarcastic manner. He was stood there in front of everyone in a waitress dress going red in his face. He couldn't help it when he saw Mynnes starting to really crack up as she went to go and sit with Criseria. He too could see the funny side "So how do my legs look?" he jested to those looking at him sniggering.

Just then a man came in with a long over coat on and placed it down into one of the chairs at a table to go to the gents before ordering. When the man was gone _Dino_ ran over to the chair, grabbed the coat and put it on over the dress just as the man was returning "OI YOU" he shouted at _Dino_ as _Dino_ legged it out of the door. Mynnes tried to get her composure back as she got up to stop the man chasing him "Sorry for that, let me pay for your loss and a bit more" she said to him as he replied to her snapping "Why would a woman steal a mans coat?" as Mynnes could no longer control the giggles. She calmed down and explained to the man what has happend. It was lucky he could see the funny side and accepted the compensation.

Chelsea studied the lake view as she approached the cafe' doors. Sure enough, she could see ducks on the lake in the distance. Smiling now, she stepped inside and approached the counter, where she waited her turn before purchasing a bag of crumbs. 

Back outside again, she walked towards the edge of the lake, grateful she'd opted for flats today. It was sunny out, but not too hot yet, with a slight breeze pushing her hair back when she came to a stop and untied the bag.

The ducks knew what was what. Swimminging frantically in her direction, a horde of feathers quickly descended on her, getting quite up close and personal. One or two at her feet poked at her feet occasionally, reminding her they were there first as she scattered and flung crumbs on the ground and into the water. Once the bag was emptied, she apologized, crumpled the cellophane, and tossed it into a wastebasket as she headed off for the hedgerows. A few of the ducks started to follow her, but soon lost interest when they realized there would be no compensation for escorting her. One determined little mallard kept at it though, quietly pacing Chelsea at a discrete five-foot distance as she meandered through the hedge maze. Once, when she turned back at a dead-end, she finally spotted him.

"Well I guess you're lost too? Come on, then," she said, tucking her hair behind her ears and leading the way back out. It took her another twenty minutes, but she found the exit. 

Brushing off her hands and heading towards the taxi stand, Chelsea just assumed the duck had gone back to the lake. It wasn't until a cab driver told her she couldn't bring a duck before she realized it was still behind her. 

"Sorry little guy. You can't-" One step towards her.

"You live here, at the nice lake. Your friends are all-" Another step.

"Crap. Double the fare?" Chelsea asked the driver, who nodded begrudgingly. Chelsea gently scooped up the bird and climbed in, fully expected him to panic and bolt, but instead, he simply nestled onto her lap as she shut the cab door.

"If he shits in my cab, lady, the fee is triple."

Chase had spent hours walking around and around the maze, every time he thought he was getting somewhere he would be back to where he started again. He saw another couple of people walking the maze and decided the best thing he could do was follow them in the hope they knew the way out. Chase followed closely as the people walked around, eventually out of the corner of his eye he spotted the opening without a second thought Chase ran out the maze and gave a sigh of relief.

He walked backed upto the café and saw Mynnes he laughed at her and said "Very funny, now I think you owe me a drink." Chase took a seat to relax and put his feet up.

Mynnes had noticed that ChelseaCrossfire was being stalked around the park by one of the ducks. Some ducks do tend to want an easier life, especially from those who feed them. Mynnes didn't mind the ducks had their freedom to do as they wanted to do and if going for a city life is for them, so be it. She couldn't help but hoped ChelseaCrossfire owned an extra bathroom for the duck, however. She was pleased to see that at least Waddles was still on the lake, that duck knew he owned the roost around there.

Back in the cafe, Chase finally came waltzing in. He had been out in the sun way too long and you could see he was a nice shade of lobster colour. She couldn't help but laugh at him until he sat down to put up his feet "Get them off my table" she said as she pointed to his giant clown-like feet. He did as he was told while Mynnes sorted him out some coffee for him and her and got some tea cakes toasted too.

She walked over to Chase with the goods on a tray and placed it down upon the table to then sit opposite him "Going to behave now or am I going to have troubles with you too like _Dino_ ?" she asked as she stirred in a little sugar to her coffee.

It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining bright as Atropos realised when the sun rays hit his face just to wake him up and interrupt him of his dreams. With mixed feelings of happines about the great day and anger for the sun's unwanted invasion, he got up and left his hotel room to go and find some coffee. He remembered the fun he used to have in that magical park when he was living in Detroit and thought it would be a good idea to visit it and enjoy his coffee right next to the ducks.

While walking towards the park, Atropos realised that the heat was too much for the way he was dressed. Luckily enough, he spotted a clothing shop that had it's summer collection availiable. Without much thought he went inside and got himself some shorts. On his way out of the store, he spotted a little plustic bucket that came with a plastic shovel and a rake and immediately he thought how cool it would be to go to the lake and build sand castle, so buying the set was the only option he had.

He left the store and reached the park within a few minutes of walking. As always, people were wondering around there. He was so happy that he almost forgot to throw a coin to the wishing well but thankfully at the last minute, he remembered and the worst was avoided. Reaching the LakeView Cafe, he quickly ordered a coffee and some bread to pretend feeding the ducks was his purpose of visiting the lake's shore while he would be building his castle.

It all worked according to plan. Atropos found a nice place with vegetation high enough to hide him from most eyes and he started working on his creation. Bucket after bucket, his castle was beginning to take its form. All of a sudden he heard some noise behind him. He turned his head and saw a duck moving its wings up and down to draw his attention. He reached for the bread and threw some crumbs far away to make the duck leave so he could find his peace and concetration again. But the duck imediately ate the crumbs and returned back to him. Atropos kept throwing crumbs away and the duck kept returning. In a moment of brilliance, he threw away whatever left he had of his bread. That would surely fill the duck with food and he would get to stay peacefull, he thought but he was wrong. Not many seconds later, the duck was back, moving its wings up and down and quacking loudly. The more Atropos was trying to ignore it, the duck was qucking even louder. 

He tried to throw a bit of sand to confuse the bird that they were crumbs but the trick didn't work. Things were starting to get heated as Atropos was losing his patience. The duck was now aproaching even closer. Anger flood his mind and he grabbed his plastic shovel, throwing it towards the duck but the bird with a swift move avoided it and it ended up in the water, possibly lost for ever. 

As if that wasn't enough, the mighty bird flew over his head, landed on top of his magnificent castle and started walking all over it while moving its wings destroying the contruction Atropos so carefully had build. Without much thought, he jumped towards the bird in an effort to catch it but it was in vain. The duck was just too fast for him and with ease just flew away and landed in the water.

Defeated and embarassed, he looked at his destroyed castle. It was so unfair what happened to him. He looked over into the lake and saw the duck. "This isn't over" he thought and picked up his things. He had to go back to his hotel and think of a plan to claim his revenge.

Mynnes was in Detroit to check on her park and cafe. She had owned it for some time but now she no longer resides in Detroit she has to make the extra effort to keep it maintained. Not that she minded, she loved the place and it also gave her a chance to get away from traffic to enjoy some nice surroundings for a while. As she made her way through the gates of the park and towards the cafe she could see Waddles waddling in her direction "Quaccck" Waddles said with her little tail feathers going, "Hello to you too" Mynnes said to her as she handed her some bread she had with her especially for her. 

As she got into the cafe her staff gave her an update on what business had been like when one of them giggled about a man with his bucket and spade. As the girl said more, the more Mynnes realised who the man was. "Did he have a strong accent?" Mynnes asked the girl who nodded. Mynnes just smiled "Well long as he was happy, that's the main thing. Wish I of known, I'd of got him some lolly sticks to make flags with!" she said to her staff.

All of a sudden there was a lot of noise coming from outside. The ducks on the pond were in a bit of a huge fight amongst themselves that made Mynnes run out to see. As she got closer she noticed an area of where a sand castle was recently built and could tell something had occurred by the way it was no longer standing, and with web footprints on it. "Maybe a duck tried to build a nest?" she muttered to herself as she went over to see. She saw something shiny amongst the sand and uncovered it to find a rather fancy looking watch "Oh dear" she grumbled as she picked up the watch she knew belonged to Atropos and placed it into her pocket. Still, she could see it was working so a little cleanup and it should be fine. She wasn't too sure what has happened there but was glad Atropos had enjoyed his time at the park and hoped he didn't see his masterpiece fall apart before he left. "I'll ensure he gets his watch back" she said speaking to one of his guards "Remind me that I have it" she finished up saying to him. 

As the ducks continued to fight on the pond she noticed that Waddles was cowering away and that there was a new 'king of the ducks' who seemed to be trying to take over the place "Well that's not on" she grumbled as she decided to name the trouble making duck as Duckhead, "That has to be a drake" she thought to herself wondering if its the season for it. Still, who was she to argue with nature as long as they don't attack her guest, she continued to think as she made her way back into the cafe. 

The man walks in to the Lakeview Gardens & Cafe, needing to cool down from the summer heat. He walks straight to a free table and sits down.

"I'd love two lemonades please, this heat is killing me."

He wipes the sweat away from his forehead.

Mynnes was in the city on a few errands, she was waiting to hear from a dealer about the sale of some cocaine. Whilst she was visiting Detroit she decided she would put in some hours at her establishment and ensured all was well. She made herself from the airport to Downtown, where Lakeview Gardens & Cafe was located and made her way through the park towards the cafe. 

As she entered the cafe she spotted a customer sitting at a table and bypassed the person to see if one of her waitresses have been to take his order. "Greetings, not sure if someone been out to take your order" she said as the person mentioned of the weather being hot and waiting on a couple of lemonades. Mynnes smiled "It's sure is" she said as she assured Obsidian that she will see to it herself. She went to the back of the cafe and got herself into work mode as she then got the lemonades made for her customer and sent out of Obsidian.

A little while later, while she was checking stock and baking some fresh goodies for the cafe, she noticed BlackPanther- entering the cafe and a little wet, it seems to of turned from sunshine to a bit of rain. She went over to him to greet him "Hello, welcome back, looks like nice weather for ducks" she jested as he replied saying it's a shame its raining and how he thinks it returns to normal soon. She nodded, even though her own opinion was it probably be sunny again before the afternoon was gone. She had already read in the paper that day that the odd shower would occur. 

Mynnes got out her little pad to write down BlackPanther-s order request. "Of course we can do this" she replied as she went to ask one of her employees to get the sausages cooked. It didn't take long before the order was ready as she got it all onto a nice tray to take over to him. She placed it down on his table and wished him to enjoy.
 

_Dino_ was feeling mixed emotions as he made his way to "Lakeview Gardens & Cafe." On the one hand he was nervous about people recognising him as the man that wears skimpy waitresses uniforms. He knew he was being paranoid as not all laughter or giggles were directed solely at him. On the other hand he was excited at gaining some revenge on Mynnes for humiliating him like that. He had his reputation to think about and was sick and tired of people pulling his leg about last weeks escapade.

He took the shortest route possible through the gardens and just as he neared the cafe he spotted there was a large group of ducks lurking outside up to no good, mainly chasing people trying to peck at their ankles. Kids were screaming both in joy at the spectacle of adults hopping and jumping trying to avoid getting pecked but also in sheer terror as they ran for their own little lives.

This can't be good for business he thought to himself as he deftly sidestepped two thugishly looking drakes and burst in through the door quickly closing it behind him. Looking around at the startled faces it soon became apparent that these people were trapped in the Cafe and too frightened to venture outside. 

_Dino_ looked round but couldn't see Mynnes anywhere, so decided to take control of the situation himself. He went into the back where Mynnes kept her trusty broom. Once armed he informed the clientele of the cafe not to worry and he would take care of matters. With that he charged out of the door wailing like a banshee and swinging the broom above his head. The ducks were taken by surprise at this and scattered in the direction of the lake. In less than a minute things were back to normal and _Dino_ walked back into the cafe to a hero's welcome.

After taking their applause he advised everyone now would be a good time to leave safely. Parents quickly grabbed their children and left before the ducks inevitably returned. 

_Dino_ sat down at an empty table, when a waitress approached and thanked him for his bravery.

"It was nothing." said _Dino_ modestly, sitting back and revelling in all the attention. 

Fiorenzo never looked back at Cocciuto. He was worried about him though. Surely he wouldn’t take off? Why did he care? Fiorenzo shook his head as he held the door open for Chelsea. If he would have looked back, he would have seen a mallard cruising across the lake with the other ducks. It looked like he might be headed back to the shore already though.  The place was beautiful. He understood what made Chelsea stop by the lake last time she was here.

Inside they both ordered a chocolate milkshake. Fiorenzo went for an Italian sub to Chelsea’s scoff. She ordered a club. They both wanted fries. The quant café was really thought out. You couldn’t ask for a more pleasant view. Their food was quickly served. Mynnes had really outdone herself with this place.

“Let’s eat outside?” He said staring at Chelsea. She had a smirk upon her lips that caused Fiorenzo’s eyes to squint. “It’s just a beautiful evening. Has nothing to do with the duck.” He mumbled looking out the window of the café. All the driving had the pair of them famished. “I’m sure he’s halfway across the lake by now anyways.” Fiorenzo said over his shoulder looking back to Chelsea as he opened the door.

QUACK!

Fiorenzo didn’t have to turn around to know that Cocciuto must be standing there in the doorway. He feigned annoyance and Chelsea rolled her eyes as they made their way to one of the outside tables.

“You love that duck.” Chelsea said as she took her seat.

“Not a chance. He is so…” His eyes fell to the stubborn mallard that had jumped up with a flap of wings next to him in a chair. Fiorenzo glanced around hoping none of the staff was going to come and rush them off. “Cocciuto.” He mumbled and looked to the food they had set down before them.

“See.” She smiled at him as they both stared into each other’s eyes for a moment. They both laughed at the same time. They then turned their attention to an overdue meal. Cocciuto was asleep in the chair by the time they finished eating. It had been a long trip here. Nothing sounded better than a bed after that meal to any of them. Fiorenzo glanced over at the sleeping duck. “Immagino che sarai in giro adesso?” He asked the duck. Cocciuto’s eyes opened as Chelsea and Fiorenzo stood to make the walk back to find another cab.

When they reached the sidewalk to the road once more, Cocciuto was in pace directly behind. They both turned and looked down at him. Quack. The duck’s eyes peered up at Chelsea and his head cocked to the side. He spread his wings then put them back to his side repeatedly.

“He’s right. You should hide him in your purse again before we flag down this cab.”

It was convenient how Cocciuto knew to be quiet until they made it back to their room at the Motor City Hotel once more. Fiorenzo had begun to think it was due to the sweater wrapped over him. It must be like a cozy floating bed when Chelsea carried him around like that. Once her purse hit the bed once more; he would spring back to life.
