Criseria had traveled to Detroit several times recently for business and noticed a need for a Quaint Diner that everyone can bring their friends and eat, and that will serve Paper Bag specials for those on the go. She found a corner storefront and decides to go for her dream. Once she gets the keys to the place, the interior design starts to come together. There is a bar top tables, booths, and a few tables that can be pulled together to make one large table for the larger gatherings. She wanted to make this place an iconic for the city. The walls have pictures in black and white of the most beautiful sites throughout the city. She named the place Criseria's Greasy Spoon.
Now that everything is done including the menu she was ready for the Grand Opening. |

Flexx was back in Detroit with his number one guard, they walk the streets if not catching a cab. Making moves on a constant was not an easy job to handle, along with the hustlin involved. Making his way up the street, just him and his guard, they spot a small diner. It was called the Greasy Spoon. “Hmmm let’s check this spot out, I am kind of hungry, what do ya say?” He looks over at Taga as he passes him the blunt. “Yea, I can go for some munchies right about now myself.” He takes the last drag of the blunt and tosses it in the streets. They walk over to the establishment and enter. It was a nice little diner just comfy enough to kick back and have a small snack. They decide to walk over to the bar. You could see Criseria just walking out from the back, they take a seat and pick the menu up glancing through the items they had to choose from. The variety made it that much better plus the atmosphere was a compliment. Already knowing what he wanted Flexx looks up as he patiently waits for her to approach. |

As Criseria came out of the back of the Diner, she noticed two new patrons in her cafe. It was Flexx-Mitchell and Taga they had taken a seat at the bar. She was excited to see her first guest at the Greasy Spoon here in DT. "Hello, Welcome to the Greasy Spoon. My name is Criseria, may I take your order please?" She watched the two gentleman glance up from the menu. Criseria smiled at them warmly, waiting on their response. |

A pair of intense hazel eyes read over the her writing once more. Fiorenzo had already memorized it, but he still wasn’t sure if he wanted to act upon it. He was trying to convince himself he wasn’t sure at least. His legs had long since had him walking in the direction of Criseria’s Greasy Spoon. He put the note away into the breast pocket of his neatly tailored suit. Fiorenzo had slowed to a stop. He pulled out his soft pack of All Jack’s and with a quick flick of his wrist one of the filters stuck out above the rest. His lips retrieved it the rest of the way. Fiorenzo had opened a matchbook from the Motor City Hotel with his free hand. It had already gone to work bending one of the matches around back and flicking it against the strip as he put the pack away with his left. The cigarette took to flame and his mind raced back to the business card he had been staring at every night for the past few days. He arrived at the corner lot in no time. Fiorenzo’s cigarette hit the pavement before burning down half its contents. His black Italian leather sole was eager to stamp it out as he saw her through the window sitting at a booth through the window. Maybe he should have called that number already? How did she know he had followed her here to Detroit? Did she know? Were the cabs here as bad here as the ones in Chicago? That last question made him smile as he thought about how there was one less bad cab driver to worry about on his next trip back to Chicago… If he ever went back. When he opened the door and glanced around the diner he couldn’t help but notice how fresh the paint still seemed. For a Greasy Spoon this place was going to need a little age to own up to its name. Fiorenzo had always loved the charm of a place like this though. He found it a bit hard to fathom that this woman would be meeting in a place like this though. She had seemed much more the wine and dine type, especially with that form fitting white dress she was wearing. Once his eyes were on her they kept hold. He made his way over and sat in the booth seat across the table from her. He studied her face a moment before the smirk across his lips broke with Italian. “Se non riesci a smettere di pensarci, non smettere lavorarci su.” His eyes narrowed and he stared at her shaking his slowly. “You seemed very confident I would find this?” Fiorenzo’s hand slipped the note she left in the wall down the block from his pocket and tossed it to the table. |

And there he was. Her anonymous source who'd been wiring money and sending gifts. She'd hoped it would be Fiorenzo Uccello, but hope was a dangerous thing to have, and she tended to leave it to the saps in the world. She bit down on her lip rather hard to keep from grinning like a fool as he sat across from her in his crisp, tailored suit. Not off the rack- he'd most certainly crewed up somewhere and was making serious money now. "I was confident SOMEONE would. Just wasn't sure who that someone might be." She could ask him why he'd been so generous to her after that once chance meeting back in Chicago, but it seemed fruitless. Did it matter? "How have you been, Mr. Uccello? Did you decide on Detroit instead of Las Vegas? Or are we having another one of those fateful run-ins?" She asked him as a waitress came by and placed two menus on the table. The chicken burger surely looked interesting, and she placed an order for it, along with a vanilla shake. "Also, I don't know a lick of Italian, but by all means, do keep speaking it at me. Maybe one day I'll figure out what you're saying," she said. A bold thing to say, actually. It assumed there would be more days, and more Italian. Resting her elbows on the table, she studied him carefully, wondering what his intentions might be. Should she be worried? She hadn't been up until now, but she supposed the average joe might be a little perturbed at having someone taking note of everything they did, and everywhere they went. She supposed that if he was going to kill her, or harm her in some way, he would have done so by now, and certainly not tipped his hand by sending her things, even if it had been anonymously. Chelsea continued to study him as he placed his order, looking for a tell of some sort. Maybe he was bored. Maybe this was just a fun little game for him. Maybe he wanted to hire her after all, and didn't know how to go about asking, or his pride wouldn't let him. Maybe he actually liked her. Before her own features gave her away on such matters, she tore her gaze away from him and tried to focus on anything else in the restaurant. It was so new, it practically sparkled, and it must have been a welcome addition to the business district, because it was filling up fast, even at this odd time of day between the lunch and dinner hours. After a minute, her diversionary tactic stopped working, and she was once again staring at the man across from her. |

His mouth opened to answer her, but the waitress had shown up and thrown off Fiorenzo. For a moment he had forgotten they were in a diner. He instead forced himself to glance down at the menu on Chelsea's cue. He wasn't even sure if he was hungry right now. Fiorenzo spouted off his own request for a classic burger and a Coke after feeling the waitresses eyes burning into him waiting for his order. The menus were gone shortly after being delivered. The waitress quickly was off to place their order in with the cook, and Chelsea was looking around the room. Fiorenzo was a patient man. Getting to study her profile as she looked around was keeping him entertained. Was she here in Detroit on business? He couldn't help but wonder. Every since that day he wondered a lot about what she was doing. It had become quite the obsession. It wasn't until those green eyes looked back at him that he began to speak again. "Non hai bisogno di sapere l'italiano per capirmi." The words rolled loose from his tongue and he chuckled at the look she gave him. "Vegas has proven to be a great decision. It was a lot like mine to follow you up here. Not that it was easy. You seem to know how to be discreet... When you aren't trying to tackle Italian men for first chance at a cab." He picked up the note that was still on the table and held it up between his first and second fingers. "I would have left a name. I just didn't want you to think I was trying to pay for you-for your attention I mean." His lips pressed together hard for a moment after the slip of his tongue. Fiorenzo couldn't help but keep some form of contact after Chicago. It was just a cab ride and coffee, but this woman had something else about her. Fiorenzo wasnt one for infatuation. He often knew what he wanted immediately. His decisions rarely changed with time. He had decided she was magnificent, bellisimo, and quite possibly the most alluring thing his Sicilian eyes had been lucky enough to search over. "I have to know. Did you get Chinese delivered this last Monday, or did you opt for Italian instead?" Would it be odd if I already knew? He thought with a smile. |

Smiling, Chelsea reached inside her purse and pulled out her wallet. Popping open the clasp on the change compartment, she pulled out a tiny rectangle of paper, obviously the fortune from the cookie she'd had on Monday, and slid it across the table towards Fiorenzo so that he could read it.
"I had the Number Four. General Tso's Chicken," she said, wondering if he didn't somehow know that already. Vegas was much smaller than anyone who ever visited actually realized. In fact, one could see the entire Strip from Summerlin. She wondered how close he'd gotten without her ever knowing it. The thought wasn't an unpleasant one. "Committed to Vegas, then? Interesting." She was thrilled, actually. "How are you finding it so far?" Why haven't you called me? "Big difference from Chicago, isn't it? I mean, the climate alone!" Now that I've drawn you out, are you going to disappear again? "But how are you getting on with your crew, your boss?" Are you seeing anyone yet? Their burgers arrived, but neither made a move to start eating. Chelsea lifted her milkshake instead, suppressing a grin as Fiorenzo watched her lips wrap around it while she pulled the sugary concoction up through the straw. If he was indeed seeing anyone, she felt very sorry for their impending loss. |

The fortune rang through his head as he stared over at her. There wasn't much that seemed logical about this whole situation. The vanilla from her shake slowly rose changing the color of the straw as it did. Fiorenzo muttered something in Italian not loud enough to be heard, but it sounded religious by the use of the word dio. His eyes fell away from her for the first time since he had sat down at the booth. He looked down at the burger and debated picking it up for a moment. Fiorenzo opted for the Coke instead and took a quick drink. She wasn't a liar. That was a good thing. He wondered if she knew she would have been caught up in one or not? With the fizzing drink down his throat and a few mental adjustments, Fiorenzo was back in the game and ready to continue into the fold with such a skilled adversary. It still puzzled him how her emerald eyes could stare at him like that without making his skin crawl. This was the first time he could remember eyes on him like this that didn't end in a fight. He supposed in a way this was a fight. "Vegas is a wonderfully quiet town. As long as you stay away from the casinos. I'm happier everyday that I packed up and moved." Especially with how close it put him to her. Of course he was committed to the town. Nebula had offered him a family there in Vegas. Fiorenzo had thrived with the opportunity to put his skills to work. It really did suit him better than just getting by like before on his own. Vegas meant new life for him. It meant no more dragging his feet and staying in the limbo Chicago had held him in for years. Fiorenzo looked back down at the burger and chuckled as he stood up and pulled out his wallet. He replaced her fortune with a five dollar bill in one swoop and pocketed the paper. "You got the coffee; Ill get lunch. Sorry I didn't finish it." He said staring down at her from his vantage point. He didn't want to leave, but he wasn't even supposed to be eating right now. He was supposed to be finishing his job in Detroit in time to catch his flight. Chelsea had really surprised him with that note. If he didn't catch his flight he would be trying to talk her into running away to somewhere discreet in Tuscany before long. "Saró in giro, Crossfire." He put his hand on the back of neck and leaned in to whisper. "I think Chelsea suits you better." It was hard not to turn around and look at her one last time before hitting the door. Once his feet touched outside pavement he took off in the opposite direction he came. Fiorenzo almost ran into another man as he studied the business card with her number like he had for days now. He had a phone call to make once he settled in back home. |

Chase had stopped off in Detroit hearing news of a Greasy Spoon opening up after a short work he finally found the place tucked up in a back street he could smell the burgers as he approached. Reaching the door he opened it and stepped in. The place was buzzing with atmosphere it looked like a really nice place. Chase took his place in line and studied the menu as his turn grew nearer and nearer, upon reaching the front he was greeted by Criseria who asked him what he would like. "Hi Criseria, may I say what a lovely place you have here, I will take one BBQ chicken burger please, a loaded fries and a soda." Chase placed his order and went to find a table to sit back and enjoy his food. |

Criseria had been working in the back FiorenzoUccello and ChelseaCrossfire entered. The Waitstaff took care of them. She was proud that she had such a good staff that would handle customers in her busy schedule. However there was a new customer that entered and she was excited to help him. "Chase, Thank you for that compliment, It will be my pleasure to get your BBQ chicken burger and loaded fries and your soda right up. It should only take a couple of minutes. If you should need anything else please let me know." She hurries to the back and puts the order in. As they finish it up in the back, she brings it back out to the guest. “Hey Criseria, first I want to say, this place is great, and can I get the classic burger, and some fries please. It smells delicious in here.” He looks over at Taga as he puts him menu up and waits for his order. “Hi, can I get the classic chargrilled hot dog, and I will take a soda please?” Taga says as he puts his menu away and looks up at Criseria with a smile. |

Criseria had been traveling all around the different parts of country on business and finally had a chance to stop back in at her Detroit's branch of the Greasy Spoon. When she arrived she nodded to the manager and went into the office. She had to have a few minutes to catch up and look over the books. As she was looking she noticed their had been a down turn in customers. She knew that is not what she wanted for her establishment and knew that something indeed needed to be done about this. She went out and spoke to her Manager Margaret "What do you think we could do to bring more customers in to the Greasy Spoon here in Detroit?" Margaret thought for a few mins and she had an idea why don't we have a week of 1/2 priced menu items and see if that brings in some customers. Criseria smiled "That sounds like a brilliant idea, lets do it." Criseria called the local sign maker to have them make a sign for her. They said they could have it ready in 2 days. As she waited for those two days to pass she had brought in extra food and supplies just in case business became booming. Then she heard Margaret ask for her, she said the Sign maker is on the horn. Criseria hurried inside. She was informed the sign was ready. She went and picked it up. It looked so professional and nice. This was the perfect idea.
