Jack was having an extremely tough week, working for his Don, Marie_Lucania . She had worked with him before 'that' war went off. They had a pretty good communication, but not much besides that.

She was kinda caught in surprise when Jack asked her for an extra burden. He asked to be one of the cogs to make Chicago grow. He asked for a meeting with her and Marie accepted, probably only by instinct. When he went to that meeting, he took his birth certificates, his bloodline history and his charms. He was aiming for the moon and after Marie's surprise soothed, she realized she had to do with a decent Mafioso.

She took some time to make the arrangements and make sure that Jack would not be seen as another vile fraud. There were many of this kind in this world of ours. While waiting for the formalities, Jack paid tribute to Diogenis, his former Crew Leader by visiting his grave once more. He asked for his blessings and prayed for the best for his next of kin.

Marie told Jack that she would be there for him and she dully delivered. She helped him create a new family building, she gave him his blessings and made it known to the world. She trusted him with a heavy, but much welcomed, responsibility of growing Chicago alongside her and Salvatore_Luciano . Marie definitely saw something in Jack when he asked her for a chance. She probably saw his passion on doing things in a unique, passionate and many times in a nonconformist way. People soon came in, one after another, and congratulated Jack. Jack felt really warm with all those people, many of who he already knew. It would be a long night with people wishing him the best.

When dust settled and Jack was again alone with Marie_Lucania and Raymond_Reddington , he wanted to speak with them.

"God damn I'm exhausted. Raymond, you're my right hand, effective immediately", he said while giving him a ring.
"Sorry that we are not doing this in a proper way, but I'm in a rush.", he continued.

"Marie, I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to you and the chance you've given me. However, I have some things to bring to a closure", Jack said and went on to explain the situation.

"Alright Jack, I trust that you have things to do and I am pretty sure Raymond can handle everything here until you get back. Get back soon", Marie said and winked at Jack.

"Raymond, I know I've been picking on you lately, but I know you can handle this whole lot by yourself. If you need anything, you know how to reach me", he said and went on his way.

Today..

Jack came back from his 'ventures', only to see many improvements to the family's building.

"Damn, Raymond did a fine job", he said to himself while heading in.

Jack steps into the office where he sees a new face and Raymond.
He drops his luggage and..
"GUESS WHO'S BACK IN TOWN???", he yells in a totally unnecessary way causing discomfort to the new associate, Obscene and laughter to his Right Hand Man.

"Really now?", goes Raymond.. "The 'things' you had to do were vacations? I busted my ass off for 5 days and you were getting sunburns on a beach?", Raymond kept on mumbling.

"Sorry my friend, but it was a top secret thing", Jack said and bursted into laughter.
"We have work to do. I know Marie let this one slide, but we have to bring something back to the table. Nice work you did on the building and I'd like to welcome this young Mafioso personally", he continued and went on to greet Obscene.

Things were about to get normal again.

Alejandrito had been trying to get in touch with Jack_Diamond for quite a number of days now to congratulate him. A couple of days ago, he already had Raymond_Reddington explaining how Mr. Diamond was away for something undefined, yet important. At least, that was the impression Raymond gave little Alex.

This morning, just after breakfast, as part of his new routine morning ritual of taking a shower, trying to reach Jack_Diamond, having breakfast, calling again and then leaving home to steal some wallets, he wanted to call Raymond again, to hear that Mr. Diamond was still away on business. But to his surprise, he suddenly heared the voice of Jack_Diamond answering the phone!

As Alejandrito totally flabbergasted, he forgot what he initially was going to say, but he recomposed and caught all of his thoughts in one word, saying

uhm..

Then, thankfully, he noticed the notepad on which he had written a word for Mr. Diamond

Sorry for the way I pronounce it! I just wanted to say I am convinced that Marie_Lucania made a great choice in making you a part of the elite that will lead Chicago to grow to it's full potential again!

It had not been too long since Jack was back at his office when his phone rang. While being away, he had asked Raymond to take all the calls and be discrete about him being out of town. He picked it up, said "Hello" but heard a bit of mumbling instead of a proper introduction. He was about to hang up, but he heard congratulations in his own mother tongue, Greek!

He instantly realized that Alejandrito was on the other side of the phone line. Jack listened to the nice words Alejandrito had to say and responded "Thank you very much Mr. Alejandrito! I am always pleased to see people believe in me. I wish you the best as well!".

They kept on chatting for a few minutes, letting each other know of their news. When they hanged up, Jack stretched his legs and sat comfortable on his chair. He still had some time for the transition period between his vacations and work.
