Hey all, 

Not sure who else has played this game yet or possibly who played the first State of Decay. I was wondering what others thought about the game. I have played both on xbox one. Basically did most things you could possibly do in the first one, but just really scratching the surface of this second one. 

I think it's definitely a huge improvement on the first game, although I think that some things were left the same that could have been greatly modified. Overall I'm enjoying it a lot so far, just hoping that the game doesn't lose my interest too quickly if there aren't more things to do as time goes on. 

(For those who don't know, it's a post-apocalyptic zombie survival game where you can build up your own communities. Basically think of it as you're Rick from the Walking Dead, but you can also switch bodies into other community members. lol)

Working with a PS4 here, so sadly can't  play this title. Otherwise I'd buy it for sure. I've read a review of a guy who got bored of it, because of too much of the same. I personally look forward to Overkill's The Walking Dead in the genre. Until that time if I feel the urge to kick some zombie ass, Dying Light it is. Still fairly good graphics, great atmosphere and one of the few games that still keeps my heart racing at times.

If you buy the Xbox One copy you can then just download it onto Windows 10 and play it there if you don't have an Xbox, but you might be running something not Windows 10. Not sure. If you do have Windows 10 you can just get the Xbox Games Pass, download State of Decay 2 onto your PC via the Windows Store and then play it with a free 14 day trial to see how you like it.

I've played about 10 minutes, so far seems like it's pretty much the same as the original with better graphics. Not keen on the multiplayer as it's not really a shared world and the interactions from player 2 don't affect your game, it seems like it's been made to protect friendless people from trolls so they can safely invite randoms.

It's pretty good as a casual game, but didn't live up to the hype. I was really hoping for something more.

Really enjoying the game though trying to keep an eye on timed encounters or mission is a pain at times. Also thinking of who you want as a leader the Warlord the Builder the Trader or Sheriff hope they bring out some cool DLC later.

I didn't realise there was a second. The first was so well made. From the combat to the detail. Thanks for flagging. 

It's actually better than expected, pretty good game to just chill and play alone after a long day. Has no long term playability though, will probabaly put in 20-40 hours of gameplay and never play again.
