Seraphim Empire Started by: Salvatore_Luciano on May 31, '18 00:38

Lucky sat in his office going over the roster of people he had under him. He was full and could not hold anyone else he really needed to do something about this. After the war, there was a way to many people on the streets with that needed a home and Lucky had to grow the South Side.

Lucky sat there and kept coming back to the same name Dub. Dub's father had run a crew in the South Side before the war and Lucky couldn't think of anything more fitting than giving the man's son a chance to pick up where he left off. Lucky rummaged through his desk and found the keys to the old Seraphim Empire HQ it was one of the few places not heavily damaged in the fighting and new it would be a good place for Dub to start his run.

Lucky told Junior to find Dub and tell him to "GET HIS ASS IN HERE' and then smiled knowing Dub would not be expecting this.

"WATCH OUT!"

A man yelled back at Dub as he was sprinting down the street towards the crew's HQ. JR had told Dub that Sal needed him and it sounded urgent. He was relatively new on the streets, fresh to the life of organized crime and knew that if the boss requested you and it sounded urgent, you best not keep the man waiting.

Huffing and puffing, Dub burst through the HQ doors and B-lined it straight to Lucky's office.

"Boss, I heard you needed me! What is it? Another war?? Are those kids from 8th street causing problems again?"

Lucky stood and put a serious look on his face.

"Yes they are. And you are going to be taking care of that problem for me." He says tossing the man a set of keys.

"This is where you will working out of."

"I think you know where it is," he says giving Dub a smirk.

Lucky walked around his desk and headed towards Dub.

As he reached out and caught the keys, he immediately looked down at them. A flood of memories came flowing into his brain; he'd grown up in that building. Playing in his father's office as he held important meetings with other Crew Leaders around the country, important businessmen within the city of Chicago, and even high-profile senators and congressmen. That since abandoned building is home, at least it was. It would take some work to bring back to its former glory and to reach the expectations that Dub envisioned.

He snapped back to reality and looked up at Lucky as he made his way around his desk and toward Dub.

"I am making you a Captain here under me in the South Side," he says to the man.

"I knew your father well and I have watched you grow up here and within the family. It is time for you to pick up where he left off."

Lucky extends his hand to the young man. He cants help but smiles as he looks at the lost look on the Dubs' face.

"Well I don't know what to say. I know my father loved Chicago and I'm honored you'd consider me as a Captain. I hope I can live up to expectations."

Dub meets Lucky's hand halfway and gives it a firm shake.

"I know you will," he says shaking the man's hand.

"Now I won't tie up your time anymore I know from experience you have a lot to do," he says before heading back to his desk.

"Get going and good luck," he says to him.

Spartacus watched as Dub was leaving the HQ of Salvatore_Luciano, and he caught him just outside the door. Handing him a bottle of whisky and a cigar he gave him a smile.

"Dub. I think you will do wonderful things down the street from us, and it will be great to have someone to work along side with for the betterment of not just South side but all of those that come across your path. By the way... I don't know where that bottle of liquor came from.." Spartacus laughed and then patted him on the back as Dub just looked down at the bottle and then back up at him.

"Its going to be a wonderful day Dub. Enjoy." Spartacus shut the door behind him as he walked back into Sal's HQ.

Somny witnessed How Dub was made a crewleader within the windy City. He was proud and happy for Dub and for Chicago which was rising again after the terrible war. As the mobsters of high status had made their congratulations and backs had been padded. Somny made his way over to Dub and put his hand out.

Congratulations Dub and the best of luck for this big adventure youre heading out on.

He then swiftly left the scene only being a simply wiseguy.

Kris arrived at the gathering hearing about The Seraphim Empire rising again and just had to show up to give his congratulations to Dub. He had seen Dub's father start up The Seraphim Empire and had even had the honor of working with him for a short time. He knew that if anyone had what it takes it was that man's son Dub.

Kris smiled and greeted the other visitors before making his way over to Dub who had just finished speaking with someone. Kris extended his hand as he approached.

"Well hello there, I just wanted to come over and say congratulations on your new venture. I'm certain you'll do your father proud and raise and empire to stand the test of time. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask, I knew your father and he was a heck of a man."

Kris said as he shook Dub's hand with a smile on his face.

"May your future be bright and may the Empire shine!"

He finished as he took a drink from his champagne glass he scooped off a tray from one of the bartenders.
