You are walking out of the local barber shop in downtown Detroit when you notice Twist the clown setting up some high chairs across the street. You decide to watch him a little while as he starts painting on a big piece of plywood. When he was done you decide to walk over and check out the new business on the street.

👠 Time To Shine - Shoe Shining 👞 

$10 per pair

You decide to watch the skills of the clown. A younger high class lady walks up wearing a pair of reptile skinned lace-up oxfords.  Twist went to town once she took a seat buffering, cleaning and Shining. His hand were moving so fast it was hard for the eyes to keep up with him. After about 15 minuets he was collecting his pay. The lady left a generous tip and walked away happy.  Twist looks at you then points to the chair!

_Dino_ waited patiently in the wings until the lady had left her seat. Suitably impressed with the shine he ventured forward and took a seat.

Now he was going to tell how talented this lad was as he placed his two-tone black and white perforated Oxfords on the stool. 

"If you get any black polish on the white I'll give you a clip round the ear." he said menacingly as he sat back and picked up a discarded newspaper. Unfolding it and pretending to read an article about the latest Steelworkers strike in neighbouring Chicago, checking over the top of the paper every few seconds to make sure his shoes weren't being ruined.

To his credit, this lad was a wizard and once he had finished his shoes had never looked so fine. He passed the youngster $20 and said,

"You've done a sterling job there. Keep the change." Tipping his hat and making his way over to the barbers for a short back and sides.

Twist showed Dino to his seat and sized up the pair of two tone oxfords. Twist knew how good he was at cleaning and polishing shoes so he had no worries about that. Once Dino sat down the clown got to work. He was polishing so fast you could barely see his hands.  Being careful not to get the black polish on the white or vise versa.  Once he was done he took the $20 and gave the customer a graceful bow. Twist then looks to the line of people to show the next one to their seat.

Criseria had been walking down the streets of Detroit in one of nicest black dress shoes. She hadn't had them cleaned up in quite a while so she decided when she seen the shoe shine spot across from the barber shop she would head over. It was opened by Twist and called Time to Shine. So she got up in one of the chairs and allowed Twist to get to work. Once he finished she tipped him generously. 

BlackPanther was in Detroit a familiar sign it was Time To Shine,  

BlackPanther just bought a new pay of shoes but the sol had broke as he was putting them on. He decided that Twist would be the best man to go to and as he was in Detroit anyway he could probably get it done by the best man himself.

"Hey Twist how are you? I can see you have expanded your business, how is it treating you over here. Also could you possibly fix the Sol of my shoe?.

It was a sunny day in Detroit and Burnett was walking down the street wearing his white suit, white shoes and whistling with his hands in his pockets. He sees a clown shining shoes and is at first terrified and then relieved he could use a shoe shine and he didn't care if it was a clown, a horse, or a tiger. Burnett puts his right foot on the chair.

"I could use a shine."

When Criseria walked up to Twist stand he recognized her face before from the mask shop so he got right to work on her designer shoes. Buffering cleaning and polish. Twist was amazed by his work. He gave Criseria a friendly bow and took the generous tip that has ment for him. Then he looks to the line for the next customer.

To his surprise BlackPanther- was here in Detroit. Twist thought to himself.

How many pairs of shoes can this guy own.

Remembering just cleaning a pair in Chicago.  But money is money and Twist got to work scrubbing at the shoes leaving them spotless.  He rubbed some polish on the mans shoes carefully not to smear the colors.  After all was done Twist looked to the line again.

Burnett was standing there waiting. After he put his shoe on the chair twist instructed him to sit and he went to town on the last pair of shoes in line.  Burnett seemed weary of a clown cleaning his shoes but after all was said and done he was really proud of the work Twist provided.  Twist took his payment and wiped sweat from his for head.

The shoe Shining business is booming Twist thought to his self
