It was a cool night in Detroit the street lights were flicking and there was a slight breeze in the air.. The church was lit up and
a small group of people were gathered out front for the wedding between Nikki and Zeus.  Nikki was holed up in the little room in the
back of the church sitting in front of the mirror looking at herself and wondering what her soon to be husband was doing
if he was nervous as she was or if he was even here!.  She fiddles with her makeup and brushes her long blonde hair.  Butterflies were doing a samba in her stomach but it was a exciting kind of feeling.. 

Nikki says to her Mother "am I ready for this or is it too soon?"  Her mother tells her "I can see you love him by the way you look at him, you were made for each other". As Nikki stands up and slips into the simple strapless long white dress turns to the mirror and adjusts herself.  Thoughts of Zeus run through her mind.. All she wanted to do was be with him... Theres a knock on the door and Nikki opens it and sees her Father.. "Are you ready Sweetie?"  

Nikki looks at her Mom smiles at her Dad and says "I've never been more ready in my life" They exit the room and head down a long hallway finally reaching a wooden door with brass fittings.  Nikki thinks "Dang that door is huge" Nikki smiles at her father and takes his arm. 
Her Dad is smiling and kisses Nikki on the cheek and says "Remember precious I love you"  

The big doors open and you can hear the wedding start.  Nikki first glance she can see Zeus smiling looking dashing as ever. The walk down the isle Nikki cant take her eyes off of Zeus they come to the alter Nikki turns to her Dad. 

The Priest ask "Who gives this women away" Dad replies "Her mother and I do" then Kisses her on the cheek and gives Nikkis hand to Zeus as he turns and takes his seat next to her mother.. 

Nikki cant help but to look into Zeus eyes and as they stand there the Priest starts "Dearly beloved we are gathered here to join these two in holy matrimony...

All Nikki can rememberafter that is The part where he says Do you take this man for your lawful wedded husband.. And she answers yes.. Zeus is asked and he replies yes..

The Priest then says "I now pronouce you man and wife you may kiss the bride...
Zeus puts his hand behind Nikkis head and kisses her.
They turn to walk out of the church and into the limo that takes them to the reception...

I would so love to have eyes so good that I could actually read something so small :(
