Mistake's businesses had been going well, he now had some spare time and money to branch out and open another business. He didn't want anything big, nor did it have to make a lot of money. So he decided to open a Tailors. It had always been a personal passion of his. The property was a rather narrow store, you could barely fit more than three or four people in it at a time.

The outside was a dark green, the name was handwritten in gold above the doorway.

Mistake's Alterations

Even though the store was small, it had a lot of character to it. Lavish dresses and expensive suits were on display along the sides, there were many different sample sheets of materials scattered around. The old oak floor had a creak to it, it had all the life of a family run small business... Yet it had the kind of suits you would see in more upscale places. Along the back wall of the store was an array of fedora hats, most of them matching the suits that are on the walls. Mistake greets you as you come in, giving you a firm handshake with a big smile on his face.

"Nice to see you! Any alterations or adjustments you need on your clothing, I can help with that. Plus, if you would like to get a new suit, I'd be more than happy to take your measurements and make you one that fits perfect! Just let me know what it is you're looking for."

Mistake heads to the back of the room, working on a little project, giving you time to look at some of the clothing and different materials whilst you decide what you want. 

Lighting out the cigar in his mouth, Napster enters the establishment.

He noticed Mistake was out back behind the counter, seemingly busy with another project. Napster was in desperate need for another suit. He is a man who is always sharply dressed. Visiting Mistakes Alternations, whilst in Detroit was an ideal opportunity to pick up some new threads. His friend has always offered the best service, so Napster knew he was in good hands. 

Straight away a lovely looking silk pinstripe three-piece suit on display by the counter had caught his eye. It looked classy and would be the perfect attire for a ball he had to attend in a few days time back in Vegas. 

I'd like to try on that suit please, the one on display just here. 

Mistake, quickly took the suit of display, and two gentleman went into the fitting room. In a hurry putting the suit on, Napster was unhappy he was a perfectionist, a unkept man would of been happy with the way the suit fitted, but he was precise and very picky on the little things, it had to fit him just perfectly. 

Could you shorten the arms, by one inch. I want a sitting just on top of my cuffs. And the trousers are a little too loose, could you tighten them up a little. The waistcoat fits just fine, so no need to adjust that. Oh and do you sell any fedora hats, I could do with a new one to match this suit!

Apperition didnt normally get away from the MGM very often as he didnt like to stray to far from his haunts, Though he had started to take delight into tormenting Mistake and had heard Mistake a business in Detroit Apperition could not resist causing some chaos and tormenting Mistake some more. Looking through the list of Mistakes work Apperition started changing all the measurements smiling Apperition then glided back to the MGM.

With Mynnes not being a tall woman, often found it difficult to find dresses and trousers with the right length. They were either way too long or simply the other way of being too short. Every time she went shopping for new outfits she had to place in mind the extra costs she would have to pay out for the alterations. She couldn't but dream that one day all her clothes could be handmade "Maybe if the right horse wins" she jested as she passed a woman's dress shop. She stopped she noticed in the window of the shop was a beautiful evening dress, it was modern yet classy. She had to go in and try it on.

When she went in, she asked to have a look of the dress and if she may try it on. She went to the back of the shop and found it fitted her perfectly in the body with the exception to the length. She frowned, either she needed very dangerously high heeled shoes or she would have to get it altered. She felt as if it was an act of fate finding that dress. As she got back into her normal clothes a shop assistant came over to her and asked how she liked it "Oh I love it, it fits perfectly, the style is very me... It's the length that's the problem" Mynnes said with a little bit of disappointment in her voice. The lady explained of a new alteration service just a short walk away and explained she has heard top reviews of it from their customers. "That sounds great, in that case, I shall buy the dress and take a gamble!" Mynnes said as she followed the lady to get it rung up at the counter. Mynnes paid for the dress and made her way out.

Soon enough she found the place she needed, Mistake's Alterations. She opened up the door and went into the narrow shop to look around. Even tho it seemed small she could see they had a lot to offer and not just alterations to suits and dresses. She was impressed. She walked up to the counter and handed over the box which contained the dress she had just brought down the street. "Hello, I need the end of this dressed altered to be a little shorter" she said to the assistant working there as he called over to a female employee to help her get measured out. Mynnes went out back to get into the dress so that they could work out how much of the ends needed to be altered. "To your ankles?" the lady asked as Mynnes nodded as she replied "That would be perfect" she said with a smile as she admired the dress in the mirror. She got changed again and was given a ticket to return at a later time to collect. "Thank you and see you soon" she said as she exited the alterations shop and went on her way.
