Apache leaves the Reservation Started by: Apache on Jun 16, '18 01:02

Apache is a six foot tall, 200 pound Native American man.  He has a darker skin complexion and long black hair.  He has a very spiritual line of ancestors.  He regularly dances and is leader of a drum group called “Black Crows.”  The performances happen during a pow wow, which is a celebration that the Native American do for the sweet Mother Earth.  Apache is very good at hand to hand combat with his tomahawk.  He is even better with a bow and arrow.  Rumors have it that Apache hit a rabbit from 100 yards out while the animal was hopping.

Apache is not only the lead hunter for his tribe but definitely the lead warrior as well. He spends most of his spare time teaching the young men how to be aggressive during combat and how to stay calm while on the defensive.  Although Apache does not practice medicine, his father was one of the best medicine men known to the tribe.  He once healed a wounded warrior with nothing but a amethyst stone and sage.  The tribe believes the man would had died if Apaches father hadn’t been there.

Apache was always told to stay on reservation land growing up and he didn’t understand why.  When he asked his grandmother she told him stories about the white men slaughtering their people.  Apache was scared to leave the land his whole life, but frequently thought what is was like beyond the reservation. By the time he hit the age of 25 he was determined to see what was out there. He figured nothing could hurt him, besides he was the best warrior there people had ever seen.

One late night Apache snuck out of his TeePee and headed toward the reservation line with nothing but the clothes he had on, his tomahawk and his bow.  When he was breaching the state line he heard a crunch behind him! He pulled the tomahawk from his waist and turned around crouching. Right before he threw the axe he recognized his little brother ChaChis face.

“What are you doing out here my brother! You must return to the tribe at once!”

Apache put his tomahawk back in his waistband and listened to his brother.

”No if you are leaving so am I.  It’s not fair.”

Appache explained the danger to his little brother of the outside world.

”It’s not safe out there brother, you have not been properly trained yet to make this journey with me!  The tribe needs you to look after them while I’m gone. NOW GO!”

Apache kissed his little brother on his forehead a disappeared into the Las Vegas desert.
