A sudden bang from next door woke Luna up from her slumber. "What the fuck..." She said to herself. Luna shook her head and thought nothing of it, but when she heard more ruckus from her neighbours apartment - Luna immediately rose up from her position and walked over to her closet where she hid a pistol. She gets frustrated as she puts the bullets in the pistol. "It's midnight gosh dammit." 

Upon walking out of her room, she peeks out the only window she had upstairs. A shiny, black roadster was parked just outside her neighbours house. Luna never really bothered to interact with her, but she knew that they both were in similar organisations after one moment of eavesdropping. Luna thought timidly, perhaps she owed something to someone... 

Shit. 

Her body went tense as she saw her neighbour being dragged out of the house, heading towards the vehicle. Luna quickly snapped back to reality. She thought it would be stupid to just approach them, unless Luna wanted to get herself killed too. She decided she would get in her own car and follow their path. Luna takes second thought to her decision, and she nods to herself. She goes back towards her house and opens the garage where she was keeping her car. She gets inside, and starts the engine. 

Looking back at her neighbour, who was just about getting inside the black car, Luna takes deep breaths. "Now where are you taking her, Mister.." 

The mans eyes flickered with anger, and Luna suddenly felt worried. What was he going to do with her? The car started driving away and Luna followed. As she was stalking them, she remembered her neighbours words that faded into the distance. Someone named Vincent... 

Luna didn't know who she was talking about, she would only be staying in Detroit for a few more days then she'd have to go back to LA. She knew no one here, only her clients who she had to meet tomorrow for a deal. Luna pondered on the name Vincent.. 

Her eyes darted to her neighbour, who was in the car. Luna stared at the back of her head and she pushed the accelerator on the car. Even though they had never talked before, Luna was in an overprotective mood. 

Luna had enough. This madness was going to stop right now. She moved her car up beside the man, and drove faster. "Slow down bitch!!" She clucked. When she was finally further in front of him, she turned the engine off. Luna hopped out her car and pointed her pistol towards the man. 

"Get.The.Fuck.Out." 

She stood there with her jaw clenched, waiting for the man's next move. Luna sneaked a glance at Savannah, a terrified expression on her face. When she gave her another look-over, she realised who she was. One of my clients did mention a new family opening up their headquarters here... 

She was working under Kris_Kringle and Vincent_Mancini was the second in command to her family. Luna hoped that maybe one of them would be able to sense she was in danger. 

It all happened so fast - another car drove up beside the kidnapper where the driver suddenly got out and was pointing a pistol at her. Luna was pointing her gun at the man. The man was pointing his gun towards Luna's neighbour. 

Well, shit... 

The man seemed to be enjoying this, as he threw his head back and laughed in an evil manner. "What do you have against her?" Luna grumbled. Her expression hardened as the man beside her was whispering threats in her ear. Luna's mouth was set in a hard line as she took her attention away from the kidnapper. She turned her head and raised an eyebrow. 

"What are you gonna do ab-" 

The man beside Luna fired his gun in the air, which made her almost squeal. He fixed his gaze on Luna and grinned. "It's either you or us die tonight - and I'm not taking any chances."

In a tight lipped smile, Luna ran towards the man that held Savannah and swung her fist to his chin. It collided and the man grunted. Luna then quickly took a hold of his gun and held it in her right hand. It was now away from his reach. He had no weapons to use, unless he wanted to throw hands. Luna maintained eye contact with him. She looked up at him through her eyelashes and gave a bitter laugh. 

She then turned to the man who was called 'James' and snickered. "I'll kill your partner if I have to. Get the fuck out of my face. Your boss would blame you if he's dead, wouldn't he?" 

The man suddenly turned defensive and he put the gun back in his holster. He waved his arms in front of him and shook his head. "I don't want any trouble. I'm getting the fuck outta here." 

Coward, she thought. The man rushed into the driver seat of his car, before speeding off leaving his associate stranded. Luna whipped her head back to the kidnaper. "If you want your money, I'll give it. Next time don't take her hostage for something so small." Luna tossed the gun she had to her neighbour. 

Luna hoped she got the signal to break free from him while he was still dumbfounded. 

"I'm sure it's something I can't handle. Now if you don't let go of her right now, find yourself dead tomorrow, or tonight if that's what you wish." Luna interrupted. She walked closer to him, just leaving a little distance between them. The night was only just starting, as she raised her gun to the temple of his forehead and smiled in a devilish manner. Luna stood tall and confident, trying to retain all the defence movements she learnt in training while at the headquarters - in case he wanted to attack her. She took in the sight of the man in front of her. He was certainly lying about something. Something about him made her think he was just a rogue looking for trouble.

Again, Luna ordered him to let go. Then she took a chance to ask him:

"Who are you anyway?" 

Luna felt her neighbour whisper in her ear for help, before she pressed her lips in a slight frown as she saw the man drove away. Luna whipped her head around to turn the lady and she felt ashamed of herself that she wasn't able to get any more information about him. "Hop in my car. Lets get you... home." 

The car was parked on the side of the road, and Luna walked around to the drivers side. She then gestured for her neighbour to get into the passenger seat. Finally, there were both seated inside and Luna was able to actually get a good look at her. Luna didn't want to invade any of her privacy, but she had to ask. "Is it true? Are you escaping from someone?" 

There had to be a good reason why Luna's neighbour was so desperate to get away from that rogue or whoever he was.  

Phone rings. After few tries the old man finnally ears a familiar voice

"yes? better be important"

Mr Molinari, the old baker in Savanna´s neighboord more relaxed now he caught up with Vincent

"Mr Mancini, theres trouble here, one of your new associates here in Dt, that pretty lady, Savannah got into a car in what appeared to be agaisnt her will..."

"what?! you sure?...2

Vincent couldnt believe it, just days after all was looking good on they re recently controled Dt area, old gangs of motor city might wanna start trouble.

Vincent takes his time, never left home without a good set of clothes, and packed with good heat, a thomson and a Smith and Wesson Model 19...

"shit, Mr Molinari, thank you, you did good im on my way..."

Luna's hands stayed steady on the wheel, looking straight ahead while hearing her neighbour thank her. Luna couldn't even focus on what was happening, she was too worked up about what had just happened. The paranoia was starting to settle in, and Luna was getting more worried for her neighbour. 

"I'm taking you home." murmured Luna. It was starting to get really dark and all Luna wanted was to just be back home safe in her bed - but she had a duty of care now to make sure her neighbour got home safely. After much driving, which didn't take too long, Luna pulled up at her neighbour's driveway. The man that took ahold of her called her 'Savannah', Luna remembered.

Luna tucked her chin slightly down, trying to avoid questions about who she was or where she was from. She wasn't one to reveal much about herself on the first day. Also, she was looking like a whole mess. A great first impression. 

"Just know, if someone bothers you again..." Luna stops her sentence when she sees another car pulling up. She quickly turns the engine off and opens the door on her side. Luna walks towards the car hoping to get a better look of the driver. The windows were tinted black.

Luna loomed closer...

Both women looked and waited... Vincent was finishing his cigar slowly, observing Luna. Courageus, untamed, defintly a breed of gangster Women that  the country saw as a respected generation that didnt back down to the usually seen as a "mans world".

Vincent respected that. Raised and lived among his 3 sisters, and of course his late mother...

"So... we meet again, Luna right?..." Vincent kind smiled, but needed to know what was going on. As she was a respected gangster from Dauntless Assassins, an allied family from LA. He done his homework after metm her with Somny at a bar in Chicago weeks earlier.

As he listened her response he approached Savannah just to check on her...
