A Hell of a Date Started by: Apache on Jun 23, '18 04:31

Apache woke up in a really good mood. Today was the day he was going to take Crystal out for a night on the town. Although they are both from Las Vegas they had businesses her in Detroit and wanted to make the best of their time in motor city. Apache decided to hit the shower and get ready for the day. He decided to stay out of his Native attire today, he decide to put on a very nice black Stacy Adams pin striped suit. Spraying two squirts of the most expensive Versace cologne he could find on his neck. He made his way to through the door to start off his day.

Apache didn’t want to pull up to pick Crystal up in a yellow and red ford pick up truck, so he decided to go to the nearest car dealership to try to purchase a rental for the night.  When he pulled up to the dealership he seen the car he wanted to rent.  It was a glossy black 2 door Bugatti Type 57.  The luxury car had all white leather interior and presidential tinted windows. Apache went to the dealer to talk business.

”Hey there, I was wondering if you would be willing to rent me that car over there for let’s say $1000, just for tonight. I would have it back to you by tomorrow evening?”

To Apaches surprise the man did not hesitate to agree.  He walked back to the office with the dealer and made the exchange, $1000 for the keys.  Now that Apache was riding in style it was time for him to go get his long black hair braided. He went to the barber shop down the street and successfully got his hair braided into two big braids off the back of his head.  Apache then decided it was time to meet Crystal at her club in Downtown Detroit.  After he pulled up he checked to make sure there was nothing on his face in the rear view mirror, put on his fedora and got out of the car to open Crystals door for her.

”How are you doing beautiful?  What are you thinking you want to do today?”

Apache got back into the driver seat and began to drive onto the downtown street!

Crystal was at ner new nightclub and getting the day started o'er there. She spent most of her time there taking care of her new business and when Apache had suggested he take her out, she decided it would be good to relieve herself of work for a night. The manager at the nightclub was adept at handling it and she really didn't have much to worry about in her absence.

She wanted to look good for the date and looked at herself in the mirror in her room. Unkept hair, ragged casuals, she looked just like a hurricane escapee. A bath would sort that out.

And thirty minutes later, a freshened Crystal walked out of the bath. She decided to wear a black dress with a plunging neckline, newly acquired a week back. It was sheer near the middle, partly letting her midriff into view through the thin fabric.

She was just in time, as soon as she had finished Apache arrived in a Bugatti. She took in the sight of the car and the man driving it. She patted the bonnet before taking the seat next to him. "A fine baby you got here."

She laughed when he asked her what she wanted to do. She hadn't thought of anything and was ready to burden that responsibility on him. "I don't know. You're the one who suggested the date, you're the one who has the wheel, so I think I'll relax while you plan the time ahead." She leaned back against her seat.

Apache stepped on the gas putting the peddle to the floor down the city street. Crystals head flew back into the head rest of the passenger seat. She gave Apache a smile letting him know that she liked the adrenaline. Apache slowed down just a tad bit and cranked a right turn. The Bugatti’s tires started squealing and the smell of burnt rubber overwhelm the luxury vehicle. Apache slowed down to the speed limit and turned to Crystal.

”It is nice huh?  Well I’m thinking maybe we hit Lake Michigan and find something to eat on the pier.  Oh shot I almost forgot we need to get gas!”

Apache looked down at the gas gauge to see how much further they could make it.  The needle was already touching the red empty line.  The nearest gas station was about 10 miles down the road.  As they pulled up to the gas station Apache pulled his wallet out of the center counsel.

”You need anything while I’m inside dear?”

The power which the car displayed amazed Crystal. Her heartbeat had paced up when Apache made the turns at full speed. Although she was enjoying it,the momentary reprieve while filling gas was welcome to her.

"No I don't need anything right now."

She bucked the seatbelt around her in case he was planning to drive to the lake just as fast. "I like the sound of eating at the pier. Will be a first for me."

“ Yeah the pier is a great place to unwind and enjoy the sights.  But if you don’t need anything then I’ll be right back.”

Apache walked into the gas station.  He grabbed himself a coke and went to the front counter to prepay the gas.  After making his payment he went back to the car and began to pump his gas.  Being aware of his surroundings he noticed a teenage boy around the corner loading a pistol and sliding a ski mask over his face.  Apach reached into the car to grab his 357. Magnum. Not knowing what is going on he figured he’d rather be safe than sorry.  Crystal looked concerned when Apache grabbed the gun.  About the same time Apache was done pumping the gas the kid ran into the front door of the store screaming.

”Give me all the money and you won’t die!”

The store clerk was in shock and didn’t even move for about 10 seconds.  After the teen demanded again for the money the cashier followed his instructions, giving him the cash.  The boy didn’t just leave right away he argued with the man demanding more money.  Apache and crystal heard the police sirens in the distance heading towards them.  Apache couldn’t let this child ruin his life over a simple robbery. Apache got out of the car and headed into the store to retrieve the robber.

”The police are coming man let’s go!”

The teen followed Apache back to the Bugatti and got into the back seat.  Crystal seemed very interested in what was going to happen next.  Apache stomped on the gas leaving a trail of smoke behind them.

Crystal looked out of the window to see two police cars chasing them. The sound of a shot being fired pierced through the air and she quickly drew her head inside, her eyes wide open.

"That was close" She did not know what the bullet hit but all she was glad about is that it wasn't her.

Angrily she turned to the backseat where the teen was sitting with a grin on his face. Obviously he was enjoying the thrill ride.

"What the fuck were you thinking? Rule 1 of robbery is haul your ass out of the place as soon as possible."

She looked in the rearview mirror, the cars were still behind them. She pulled out the gun strapped to her thigh. "Dont feel offended Apache. I feel safe with you but I always carry one with me. Now whatever happens, don't keep driving in a straight line or else you will have a dead date later."

Apache looked like he understood. She knew he would, he was more experienced than her. She lurched out of the window and fired two shots at the tyres of the trailing cars.

When Crystal yelled at the kid he looked scared.  He was just a rookie at this life and Apache could tell from the moment he went in without a escape plan.  He didn’t want the kid to throw his life away over a measly gas station robbery.  Who knows what the kid even got out of there.  Apache started swerving the car as soon as he heard shots from the police.  He was surprised to see Crystal so quick to lean out of the window and shoot back.  She was acually accurate too, almost every shot was hitting one of the squads behind The causing them to back off a little bit.

“Hey kid what the hell are you doing help the lady shoot!”

The young robber leaned out of the back window and began to send rounds missing everyone of them.  Then Apache took a hard left turn onto a dirt road hoping that the police wouldn’t be able to make that quick of a turn.  The kid fumbled around his firearm then dropped it out of the window due to the turn.  He looked up in shame at Crystal.

”Hey Crystal I got a spare 9mm in the glove box pass it to the kid. We have to keep pressure on that last car.”

”Hey kid don’t you dare drop that gun, hold it tight!”

Report Post Tip

"Darnit.", Crystal rolled her eyes as one of her shots barely missed a cop and hit the viewing mirror instead. The kid was not of much help, he shot only when he was done fumbling with the gun, almost dropping it twice. He had already lost one of Apache's guns tonight, woe betide him if it happened again, she thought to herself.

After what had started to seem like a relentless pursuit, the last of the police cars suddenly screeched to a halt, one of the tires giving way underneath. She looked at the kid in surprise who was grinning to himself now. Somehow he had managed to hit a tyre. The police car finally grew smaller in the distance as they sped away.

Crystal looked at Apache once the cars were out of sight and then at the boy. "What do we do with him now?"

Report Post Tip

After the boy hit the police tire Apache was in shock. This kid couldn’t hit the brawn side of a barn? I guess it was a lucky shot. He looked at Crystal thinking of where he was going to drop the kid.

”Well I know a few guys, we will bring him there to lay low for a day or two.  Sorry this date didn’t go as planned!”

It was starting to get late now and Apache felt bad for not being able to go to the pier and eat.  So he instantly slammed on the brakes and looked back at the kid.

”Give me the fucking gun! Now go in that sack of your and split that money 3 ways.”

The kid handed over the gun to Crystal and looked of concern when Apache asked for their cuts.

”We don’t got all day kid! This is the way the real world works, nothing is free!”

To Apaches surprise the kid pulled out quite a bit of cash. Counting it he said aloud “12 hundred!”

“Then we each get four kid.  Hand it over!”

Apache drove to the safe house and decided to let the kid stay for awhile. He looked over at Crystal and wondered what she thought of the way the so called date ended up.
