Marie sat in the comfort of her home and reflected upon her first Fireside chat that had taken place earlier that evening.

Good evening.  I thank each of you that were able to come be a part of this, my first in a series, fireside chats.  It is a lovely idea I got while talking with our beloved president, FDR.  He plans to start these little chats for the nation to provide people with hope, convey ideas, and give opportunity for people to tell me their troubles.

I address you tonight as someone who has found herself in a position she had never dreamed she would be in.  However; now that I am here, I feel a responsibility to improve upon these shores we all find ourselves on.  It is my desire to leave this world a better place than when I came into it.  This will be my legacy.

Now I know I can not fix all that ails us, but I can focus our efforts on one or two things -- issues that affect all of us, yet can be obtained with hard work and effort on everyone's part.  I could decide what issues I think are the most pressing & obtainable, but I would rather hear from you.  What is the one thing you would like to see change and what solution would you propose to solve that issue?

It is my hope that together we can make the kind of changes that will better these shores for all of us.  Thank you for time this evening and please send via mobmail your issue and proposed solution so that I may give it my full attention.
