Jay had an urgent message delivered to his office at the early hour of two in the morning. It read that one of his cargo ships came across an opportunity in the pacific ocean that need to be addressed. While on it's course his ship encountered a foreign military ship in distress. While the crew appeared to come to that ships aid, in all reality, Jay's crew mercilessly slaughtered all of the warships crew who had their guard down expecting a cargo crew. They were able to make the necessary repairs to the warship while underway, but the ship needed to be repainted, all traces of it's original country needed to be removed and Jay needed to somehow have the ship registered as a US private vessel. He was certain that having a warship in his arsenal was certain to deter pirates from disrupting his trade routes. Jay's driver arrived at the dry dock and he entered inside to find the ship in remarkable shape. It was a terrific destroyer with all of the proper armaments. The paint was being stripped as he looked upon her, but even still it was an impressive ship. He was excited to see what she would look like when the restoration was complete. His crew informed Jay that there was a compartment that remained sealed and that they were attempting to force entry as they spoke. Jay had the men lead him to the hatch and he watched as a man with a heavy duty blow torch melted each hinge and bolt before taking a battering ram to the hatch. With a few intense rams the hatch fell clear into the next compartment. Jay's crew entered and cleared the compartment for threats before calling out for Jay to enter. Jay stepped into the compartment and noticed that it was full of massive crates. Unsure of the contents Jay motioned for his men to open one. They did so with haste and inside the crate were tons of herion wrapped into large bricks. The amount of horse on this warship was enough to finance another three warships. It did not surprise Jay at all however, as the country that previously owned the vessel was well known for it's opium trade. Jay had a messenger dispatched immediately to a business associate and good friend of his from Philadelphia. She was very proficient in this trade and Jay was confident that she would be the one to move this product for him. He would have her meet him here at the dry dock to discuss the business end of things, but he was certain that she would be glad to take on the business. Jay's messenger was instructed to relay the following message to miss Dahlia. "Good evening miss Dahlia, my employer Mr. St. James is requesting to meet with you in order to discuss some business that requires your immediate attention. He's instructed me to drive you to the meeting. Would you mind coming into the car so that we can be on our way?" |

She had just left work for the day, getting ready for a night out. She was dressed up, long red gown, red heels, all dolled up for the club. She had grabbed her bag, headed for the door. As she opened it, she saw the messenger standing there, slightly startling her. It was rare that someone came to visit this late at night, she was curious what this was about. Listening to the guy, she smiles and steps outside. She was not dressed appropriately for a business meeting, especially not at the docks. But, already dressed, still wanting a night out, she would deal with it. "I would be happy to go, anything for Mr. St. James." She followed the messenger to the car, sitting in the back as he opened the door for her. As they drove to the docks, she wondered what Jay needed. It sounded urgent, must be important. It had been a little while since she had seen him, a few months at least. Work had kept her busy, she needed to make a better effort to keep in contact. After a short ride, they arrived at the docks. The messenger opened her door, she carefully stepped out, adjusting her dress. She looked around at the ocean, ships scattered around, realizing she looked very out of place. She saw Jay at the end of the dock, standing next to a large ship. She didn't know much about them, but this one looked interesting. With a smile she headed towards him. "Jay, how are you? Please excuse the attire, I was not expecting a meeting. Whats going on?" |

Jay was awaiting the car as it should be pulling up any moment now. He lit a cigarette and took a deep inhale, as he did the car finally arrived and parked in front of him. As Dahlia stepped out of the car Jay walked over to greet her and was caught off guard when she asked him to forgive her attire. Jay let out a laugh and then shook his head. "There is no reason to apologize at all, it's not as though I am putting you to work on a ship tonight. I just have a matter that can use your expertise. I have an opportunity that could work out very well for the both of us." Jay motioned for her to follow him as he lead her up the pier and onto the gangway that lead onto the massive warship. They walked on the deck for a moment before entering a hatch and making their way down into the compartment filled with heroin. He turned the lights on again which illuminated the many crates filled with the illicit drugs. He then turned to look to Dahlia, as he did he lifted one package of heroin from a crate and smiled. "As you can see I've come across some product in a bit of a lucky break. There's surely enough here to finance, well, just about anything you could ever want to accomplish. The issue for me here though is this, I am fully capable of moving product anywhere within this planet without risk. My enterprise however, does not dabble to much in the actual distribution of such merchandise. I do know that this is a bit of a specialty of yours though am I correct?" He placed the heroin back into the crate and then motioned at the multitude of crates in the ship as he continued to speak. "All of this has got to leave this ship. The profit is certainly going to be well worth the endevour. As for the price, I only wish to receive 20 percent of the profits per ounce of heroin sold. The other 80 percent is for you and for the cost of making it disappear. I can not stress though that this needs to happen quickly and that it can not be traced back to me, and even more importantly, it can not be traced back to this ship by any means. Do we have a deal?" |
