Tenkai always buried himself in his work. As usual, he kept to himself. However today, Vela had wanted to meet with him. She had some crazy idea about a hang out for the crew. He nodded to her as she came in, raising a brow as he noticed Ely with her. Normally, the boss only came in when he wanted business done.

"Hello Tenkai, we need to speak with you if that's alright?" Vela asked. Tenkai nodded and extended a hand for them to take a seat.

"What can I do for you?" Tenkai questioned. "If it has anything to do with the business, I left that information on your desk boss." He said as he started to look back down to his work.

"Actually, it's for a different matter. Vela would like to talk to you about a family and friends hang out… She has some ideas, but we would like your cooperation to make this business fun and professional. I know you're busy, but I would love if you two would work together on this." Elyan stated, gathering Tenkai's attention.

"Alright, Miss Vela... What did you have in mind?" Tenkai asked as he set his hands on his desk and offered her his full attention.

"Well, since we're in L.A. I thought it should be, of course, beach themed! So, I was wondering if you would help me beyond that?" Vela asked excitedly.

"Mmm… Alright." Tenkai speculated... "How about fried street foods, fresh, fruity drinks..." The list went on as he named off a few things.

"Oooo… And a band!" Vela interjected.

"Oh, yes… I like that! Like a jazz band, or swing! Also, you could have your drinks served from coconut cups. From real coconuts!"

"Oooo, yes, and how about professional dancers? Maybe a few lady escorts?" Vela pondered aloud as she racked her brain for ideas.

"Ahaha, yeah! OH! How about we make the roof out of leaves, but make the leaves out of some kind of roofing material so we don't have to keep replacing them every few weeks?" Tenkai questioned, a pensive look etching across his features as he thought more and more on ideas for this hangout.

"I agree," Vela nodded. "We do want a clean, inviting, professional looking paradise."

"I could be the flirty bartender!" they exclaimed in unison, before busting out in laughter. Both of them nearly forgot Elyan was even there, but he joined in their jovial behavior with a hearty laugh of his own. Their eager attitudes made him happier than anything. If all else failed, they would shape into wonderful business men and women.

"Well, I see you two will get along just fine." Ely finally spoke as the laughter died down. "You will do a good job, I know it. So, I will let you two get to work. I have somethings I should tend to anyway." Elyan stood, shaking both of their hands, and turned to leave the premises.

Tenkai nodded his head as the boss left and looked back at Vela. They started thinking up more ideas and drawing out possibilities; a "leafy" roof, a large surfboard bar, some small couches, a stage, some tables, tiki torches, two palm trees (one on either side of the bar), of course a few offices for business, and a lounge for employees to relax.

They began measuring things out on paper. Just how much land would they need for it? How much would it cost? What -types- of street foods would they serve? What drink recipes might they come up with? Would they make -new- drinks? What about non-alcoholic drinks? They could even sell tobacco products! Cigars especially! As they finished up with the plans, Tenkai rubbed his face and laughed.

With tired eyes, they looked it over one last time. The two took a deep breath and smiled, finally sitting back and letting it sink in. This... This was something they could be proud of. A nice, pretty plan, wrapped up neatly, with everything they would need to present to the boss. Tenkai looked up at a clock and his eyes nearly bulged from his head.

Tomorrow... They would present it to the boss TOMORROW.

He rubbed his eyes, all of a sudden feeling the lack of sleep kick in. With a bow of his head to Vela, he escorted her to the door and the two parted ways for the night. It had been a long day, and the next might even be longer as they tried to convince Ely that this was -truly- a good idea.

Elyan sipped his morning coffee and prepared himself for the day's meeting. Tenkai and Vela were supposed to be bringing their presentation by so that he could look over it. Initially, he liked the idea of a place where friends and family would feel welcomed and relaxed. However, with L.A. in it's current state, perhaps funds were best allocated elsewhere? Then again, morale could certainly use a boost due to the same current state...

He lifted the mug to his mouth and tipped it back, the steaming hot coffee nearly burning his lips and tongue... Just the way he liked it. Add a cigarette in his other hand and his morning would be complete. Unfortunately, he was out of his favorite vice. Good old tobacco.

"MEEEKKKKOOOO!" he yelled out. "Can you bring me a new pack of smokes?"

Meko was across the house, but, she'd hear it none the less...

It wouldn't be long now... Meko would bring his cigarettes, Tenkai and Vela would arrive to present their proposal, and then he would debate it with the pack to see what everyone though. At least that was his plan... Only time would tell how the day's events would play out.

Vela was ecstatic when she woke up the next morning, feeling the energy kick in for the day. After a long night of careful discussion and analysis, Vela felt confident about the proposal presentation with Tenkai. The heebie jeebies crept into her stomach anyway, as she got worried that maybe the plan wasn't detailed enough, or if they had misinterpreted something.  However Vela was sure they had it under control, just needed to persuade Ely. She brought a hand to her mouth as she yawned, letting her morning breath flow through her nostrils and she let out a dreamy sigh. Vela stood outside the family headquarters and she walked herself in, hoping to find that Tenkai would be there. As she took a step inside, she saw Elyan, sitting comfortably at a table. Vela's eyes lit up. "Elyan!" She exalted, as she skipped towards him, almost tripping herself over. Vela's cheeks turned scarlet, as she realised she was way too excited, especially at this time of the morning.

Last night came into her mind, and she suddenly switched on her serious work mode. It was like seeing a whole ‘nother person. The bubbly side of Vela had turned somewhat introverted. She sat herself down on a seat across from him and she eyed the mug of coffee in his hand. Vela tilted her head and smiled. “You always need your caffeine, don’t you?” She chuckled quietly. She leaned back in her seat and took a deep breath, as she just hoped that Tenkai would come soon. Vela had brought the blueprint with her, which showed how much land the hangout location would cover and sketches of miniscule, yet important furniture. Vela personally thought that the tiki torches were a nice touch, as it would really exhibit that beach theme vibe. Vela leaned forward in her chair and crossed her arms on the table, to make herself more comfortable.

Shortly after, Tenkai had arrived. Vela broke out in a grin as she gestured for him to sit down on the seat beside her. Vela looked to Ely, then to Tenkai, then back to Ely. She waited until one of them spoke first before she would get to the point of discussion. Vela didn’t really know how to lead meetings, but she always prided herself for making her valuable contributions here and there. This was a very exciting occurrence for her and the family, and she couldn’t wait for what Ely had to say about it. This was just the beginning of the family’s success, which would pave the way for each of the members to make a name for themselves. Even though there was always going to be other ‘better’ places, or other rival families, there was one thing that Vela knew for sure. She was going to stick with her family no matter what, and help them in times like these.

Tenkai woke up, apon hearing his loud annoying alarm, he yawned as his slender big hand slightly slammed onto the alarm, turning it off.

“Alright… Loud mouth, I'm awake. “ Tenkai said, as he got up and went to take a shower.

As turned on the water, he adjusted it to the right temperature, as he let the water run, he then started undressing, he had long black curly hair, and he was muscular, as he now undressed, he stepped into the shower, washing his hair, trying to wake up.

Finishing up washing his hair, hr then quickly finished washing himself, as the last of the soap rinsed off, he turned off the water, to get out and quickly dry off.

As finished quickly drying off, he got dressed, putting on kimono, he hated tight clothes, as he brushed his hair, he put it in low ponytail, and then he put on some after shave seeing he didn't need to shave just yet.

He then finished in the bathroom, and went to grab his weapons and but them on him, as he then started out the door, glad that he had Vela keep the plans for the hangout.

As he stepped outside, he noticed a car waiting for him, he got in, as the door closed behind him, and drove off.

As they started towards the manor, he got to thinking how exciting and fun, oh how he would love to see people having fun and dancing, he hadn't seen that since he was a kid, his mother used to hold parties just as fun, in due time he hoped that he had his mother’s traits.

As he arrived at the manor, he then stepped out the car, and walked towards the front door, as it was opened, he bowed his respects, he noticed Vela, he walked over to her, giving her a small side smile.

He then saw Elyan, and followed them to the table, and sat down next to Vela, feeling a little awkward, so he decided to break the silence.

“Good morning Ely, we wanted you to see what we came up with so far, and see what you think, and if you like, you can add to it? “ Tenkai explained, as he looked between the two of them.

He cleared his throat, feeling out of his element, he folded his hands in front of him, even though he wasn't a full wolf, he was still half, and the alphas always scared him a little.

He hoped no one ever found out his other side of what he was, he then raised a brow, and let Vela show him the prints, he thought he would be a gentleman and let her take the lead.

“Vela, if you would show Ely the prints please, so he can see what we are working with, he might want to add something so it would be more efficient. “ He spoke softly, just as his mother  taught him, he smile slightly, so as not to show his teeth.

Elyan almost jumped as Vela came in the room, startling him with her excitement.

"You always need your caffeine, don't you?" she'd asked, almost in mockery. He smirked, holding up the coffee cup in return.

"It always helps my dear... Especially when I have to keep up with those as chipper as yourself. You're early..." he stated, but no sooner than the words left his mouth, had Tenkai arrived. "Or not..." he said quietly to himself with a chuckle and downed his coffee... He'd need that to kick in sooner than later.

"Okay, so what do you have for me today?" he asked both of them, his eyes on Tenkai as he noted mentally that the young man seemed nervous. His scent was always something that confounded Ely, though he was certain that the lad was simply a hybrid of some sort... Much like Shomecossee's scent always smelled different at first, until he'd gotten used to it. The man would be granted his own secret so long as he wished, as long as it never became an issue with their family.

He smiled as Tenkai spoke softly... A trait not seen in many of their kind. It was honestly a pleasant respite from the usually noisy pack of his. Regardless, Elyan turned his attention to Vela as Tenkai asked her to show the plans. He smiled as she fumbled with the drawing's containers, but she got them opened and rolled out on his desk.

"Ah, very nice! I like when someone comes with a drawing to help explain their ideas. Gives one the full picture, you know?" He grinned and stood up from his chair, looking down over the plans. "So, explain it to me... What's this?" He pointed at a spot on the drawing to give them a reference point to start with. "But don't stop there..." He smiled before they started talking. "Explain it -all- to me." He grinned as he walked to a carafe and poured another cup of coffee, holding it up to each of them and silently asking if anyone else wanted a mug of coffee...

The responsibility was then put on Vela to talk about what she had discussed with Tenkai the night before, which made her a little more nervous. Before this, she was already getting comfortable with the family but she still needed to work on her nerves when dealing in serious business like this. She nodded in Tenkai's direction, accepting the offer to talk first. Vela faced the blueprint towards Ely, so he could see the fine print better, and she began with her explanation. She was quickly interrupted, in the nicest way possible by Ely as her eyes travelled to his finger where it pointed to a sketch of a tiki bar on the paper. Vela noticed another mug of coffee in Ely's hand, who then asked her and Tenkai if they wanted one as well. The boost of energy that she gained as she woke up was enough for the day, so she shook her head to say no. The nerves were doing its thing today, as Vela used her anxiousness to her advantage quite simply by talking for long so she wouldn't stop and stutter out of fear. She figured that if just kept on talking, the things that she wanted to say would start coming out- though she couldn't promise it would make sense. Vela hoped for the best as she took a breath and exhaled slowly, before she looked down at the drawing that Ely was keen to find out about. 

"Ah yes... that's the tiki bar where all kinds of drinks will be served- but not only that, there will also be grilled and fried food to be sold." The tiki bar would take up the most space, but provided that mostly only the family members would come, it wouldn't be a hassle. This would mean that it won't be so crowded like other places, where you wouldn't be able to find a stool to sit on because they were all occupied. In 'The Tiki Hangout', Vela would make sure that everyone has a comfortable place to sit and relax. "The alcohol shelf at the tiki bar will be lit up with dim lights, to give it that home-y feeling. In addition to this, the tiki bar will also have a bamboo roof, held up by two other bamboo sticks on each side to support the weight." It will really cater to those individuals who are feeling a little adventurous, as it will not be a typical bar like those in Las Vegas where each furniture was expensive and fragile, since the glass would be easily breakable by the occasional men who would start bar fights and end up punching the glass shelf where the alcohol was displayed, to pieces. Vela observed Tenkai and Ely's expressions. She returned a gentle smile, as she pointed her hand towards the plan on the paper. "Funds aren't a worry. I looked to my connections and saw that one of my friends is a custom furniture maker, meaning that everything will be inexpensive and carefully handcrafted. I gave them the specific details, so we're all set with that."

Vela leaned back as she felt satisfied with her investigations, although she left out the part where she told them that Vela would take care of her family. By that, Vela had told her that she would pay her back each month. From her own pocket, of course. Vela had suggested to Tenkai last night that the profits they would gain from the tiki bar would be safely secured in a federal bank account for the family, but as she sat back and waited for what Ely had to say, she started to second-guess her idea. It would be un-safe to do because if all the money were just thrown into one account, it would be easier for robbers and heist men to grab as one account would mean less jobs for them to do. After giving some time for Ely to think the proposition through, she rested her elbows back on the table and made a steeple with her fingers, as she tried to think of what to do with the profits. "Ely, the profits that we gain from this hangout, why not split it into different areas. For example, local budget, family pay day, security and all that other good stuff...?" She said with a focused tone. Vela was open to other ideas as well though. She didn't want to make the place all about her ideas, even if it may have seemed that way. The thought that she was talking too much came into her mind and she put both of her hands in front of her, facing them in Tenkai's direction. "You got it from here, Tenkai. I think I got the tiki bar covered. In short, it will be inexpensive and authentic." She started to chew on a cuticle, hoping that Ely had a better idea of the eating and drinking section of the hangout. Vela then sat back again, as she wondered what Tenkai would start talking about. 

What remained on the agenda for the proposal was the entertainment lounge where jazz bands would perform and a private area for the lady escorts to lure their clients in. However, Vela knew that there were still some unfinished matters to discuss... Something that would really give that extra 'oomf'. Vela grinned cheekily as she crossed her arms, before her eyes danced at the thought. "Oh, and... guys... lets not forget.. BEADED DOOR CURTAINS!!!" She almost jumped out of her seat. "Again, it would be inexpensive to make. Handcrafted to perfection as well!" She put emphasis on the word 'perfection' as she tried to sell the idea. Her arms stretched out in front of her as she put on an excited facial expression. Vela grinned from ear to ear. The energy she built up since she woke up that morning had now caused Vela to shiver with excitement at the thought of a snazzy and family-friendly environment, which would ultimately bring the family closer together.

Vela sat comfortably in her chair as she let Tenkai continue.

Tenkai looked over at her outburst, he raised an eyebrow, shaking his head, as if he hadn't thought about that, he chuckled softly to himself, seeing he wasn't the only one who was nervous, he nodded in agreement, as he cleared his throat to speak.

"Well, and over here, are the vip's, for the family, and for people who want privacy, and who wants a private lap dance, but  they will have to pay a little extra for those, except for family of course..." he paused, pointing to the areas, explaining what it was and explaining what they were for, " of course, there will be curtains to keep that privacy... Also, not only will we have the dancers, but there will be male and female waiters, I thought about how we could get extra money, I figured we could have a gentlemen's night, and a ladies night." He said, as he looked between Vela and Elyan.

As he looked at his boss he could tell he kind of knew of him being a hybrid, he cleared his throat once more softly speaking. "My mother was always teaching me how to keep people at there best and happy, and entertained, so I thought keep the women's eyes entertained, keep the male waiters shirtless, and females wearing something professional, but yet something the males will want to look at, I also thought about food.... So in the morning, I was thinking, have like a little cafe going on, so people walking by could see, that it's a hangout, and they would be able to get flyers, plus it would add more of your regulars, if that is what you are looking for." Tenkai paused, seeing that Ely was getting into his ideas, so he thought he would use some of his mother's ideas. it would make his mother's memory come alive.

"Ahem...my mother, always had something open to be served in ready... so you wouldn't have to worry about a back up cook, or an extra bartender, also I thought we would have the bar made out of some bamboo, but underneath, we could make it more sturdy, although it wouldn't be a full bamboo bar, it would have the outline of it, also for the door, I had the idea as well, as Mrs. Vela to have like a beaded curtain, now to make the roof seem more like it belongs, I was thinking to put the coconut tree leaves over it, or have a more sturdier version of it on the roof, so it fits the scene....also I was thinking about having a few extra outside tables, so some of the people can enjoy the weather, along with an outside bar and kitchen, that way people walking by can see and smell it." He said smiling, his eyes a golden purple, as he smiled softly, not show his teeth.

"Over here, will be the alcohol, behind the bar, so people can see the varieties, along with the outside bar, Also, I thought about what the food was going to be, so I thought we could have fish, shrimp, pineapple, along with crab and scallops, lobster, and other variety of sea foods, and I thought of having like a stir fry and such, I figured since it is on the beach, serve the stuff that might be local, we have other stuff to serve, as for the lunch, I thought of like having street tacos, if they want, or have like a sea food stir fry, and of course, have our house special served in a coconut cup, a real one, along with a few other special drinks, so I thought of away of how to keep them from rotting, was to keep them in something cold, like a freezer, or an ice box..."He paused, as he took a soft breath, looking up from the plans, he hoped it was to their liking so far, "Also, to circulate the air in the place, I figured we could have fans, through the place, to keep it from getting to heated, ceiling fans, of course....but that is up to you as well....now as for the music, I figured in the morning, play soft jazz, to get people to check it out, and at lunch, have something between soft, and more upbeat, and then into the night, have the swing dance, to keep people up and dancing." He said, feeling all over the place.

"I thought of something else for decoration touch up, have like memories up on the walls, in bamboo frames of course, but we can have some history from families, and then add to it, from certain events that we hold, so that people have something to look at, that way we have stories to tell, and also the place can tell it's own story...and to keep up with that, along with expenses, I thought of some competitions that we could hold, such as; wet t-shirt contest, food contest, dancing contest, or a drinking contest, but the people would have to pay to watch, but only at these events...and that is all I can think about for now." He said, finishing up the last details, as he finished he noticed he talked a lot, but he was always softly spoken.

He then put his hands carefully back in front of him, and he folded them, feeling nervous, and scattered, but he hoped that they liked what he came up with.
