I stepped off the train in Philly, "Hello east coast." I said to no one. I grabbed my bags and headed down the street looking for a flop house for the night.

Elyan, before we parted, had recommended a friend of his, JackMezzo, and The Race St. Operation to me as a possible new crew. I contacted Mr. Mezzo to see if there were any openings, "When you get here, we can talk. I'll miss Elyan. I'm glad we're held in high esteem, and I'd be more than happy to welcome a friend of his into Philly." He said with a smile in his voice. I thanked him and jumped on the first train out of LA.

I found a room to rent for the night a few blocks from the train station. I went up to the room and laid on the bed to relax a bit. There was a knock at my door. I got up, "Yeah?" I asked. "It's Stan, from the lobby. A man dropped off a note for you sir." and slid the note under the door. I picked it up...

Welcome back Jonny I hope to hear from you soon.

It was signed G. "Well shit." I grunted. The G was Giuseppe "Dovi" Bruno. I did some work for him a while back. It didn't go well. He's been keeping tabs on me, that can't be a good thing. I put the note in my pocket and went to go find a drink, maybe several. Tomorrow I meet with Jack.

With a heavy heart and the little willpower she did have at the time, she took an absence leave from her daily activities to go search for her former family member, jonnythecon. Vela had been sitting back at her family headquarters, running around, trying to get things sorted but it just wasn't the same without her friend. He had been someone that she would usually go to for advice, ideas as well as company. She had grown attached to him, as well as the other people she had met in Skinwalkers, but the connection she had with Jonny seemed to be stronger. Needless to say, she missed everyone from the family dearly and would nothing more than to unite again. After the retirement of her Alpha, Ely, they had parted ways and got lost in the process. Vela didn't actually know where any of them was though, so when she saw the chance to get a day off from her assignments, she took it with no hesitation. Vela had told her current boss, Dub, that she would be gone for a while. "I don't know how long, sir. But I'll be back before the sun sets, hopefully." She smiled. As she went on her way out the door, she caught eye of someone she'd been wandering about for a long time, suddenly feeling self conscious. Vela swiftly turned her head in the other direction, so as not to make him notice her, before she continued on her way out the premises.

That was close, she thought. Vela still needed to get over her social anxieties, especially around people she admired. By the end of the talk or whatever social situation she was in, she'd be mentally drained from forcing smiles and friendly talk. She wanted to be genuine to people when she spoke, but there was just times when she couldn't get her nerves to settle down so she'd try and get through it by avoiding eye contact and returning her smiles sparingly. Vela was all over the place these days, as she pulled the entrance door, noticing only few seconds after that it said 'push'. Her face turned scarlet, looking behind her for anyone who may have been eyeing her suspiciously, or laughing probably. Vela grunted, pushing her hair out of her face. "Come on. Get it together." She murmured to herself, correctly pushing the door now. Vela's hand was on the door handle, which she had a tight grip on, just in case it would fly off. Ya know? Only people with bad luck could relate.

The air outside greeted Vela with a cool breeze, which she had breathed in through her nostrils. "Ahhhh." She said to herself in delight. The day would be coming to an end soon, so she quickened her pace. The last information she had received about her friend, Jonny, is that he was advised to go to Philadelphia for a possible job opportunity. When she heard about it, as much as she wanted him to go with her to Chicago, she had to put his best interests first. Vela couldn't be too greedy now. Everything happened for a reason. She didn't know where he was staying, but she tried to track down where his location was when he had sent that message to her about moving to Philly. However, being the lady with the bad luck in every situation, she discovered nothing on her travels. After so much time walking and asking locals if they had seen anyone that looked lost or like they had just hopped of a train or something. The train...

He would have taken that, right? Since she knew he wouldn't have brought his car along with him. Surely...

Vela stood in the middle of a park in Philadelphia, clueless to where she might find him. It was already getting late so she didn't think she'd be able to get back to Chicago by the time she expected. She ended up walking into a diner, her usual choice of location if she had no where else to go and desperately needed a cup of coffee. The lady behind the counter greeted her cheerfully, which showed the huge difference of how helpless and confused she was. Vela gathered her thoughts, trying not to fall asleep right then and there, smiling back at the server. "Hi. I'd just like a coffee thanks. No sugar." She announced politely, chin in the palm of her hand. Her face was dull, and the hair on her head was a little bit all over the place, as some strands had loosened due to the state of panic she was in during her search for Jonny.

In all of her days of experience, working for her former boss, Ely, she had never once quite met someone as friendly and inviting as him. Though she was sure that she'd meet more like-minded people in the future, if fate would allow her to. Last time she thought about her fate, she had been thrown into an angry street brawl with her younger sister's ex husband, in which she was in the process of forgetting. Vela sniffed the familiar scent of the warm cup of coffee that transcended to her nostrils, which made her sit up immediately. She yawned quietly, her pale hand over her mouth, before blinking her eyes hard to get herself out of the sleepy mood she was in. Vela carefully took the cup from the lady, so as not to spill it all over the counter. "Thank you so much. Needed this." She simpered, holding the cup close to her nose, keen to taste the bittersweetness of the coffee. She sipped slowly, appreciating the warmth travelling down her throat. Usually, coffee would give her a boost of energy, but for the lack of sleep she had, it pushed Vela's temptations to take a nap right then and there.

It would've been great if someone near her could have lightly tapped her shoulder, but everyone around her seemed to be in their own world or deep in conversation.

As such, she too, made the move to block everyone out of her consciousness, head buried in her crossed arms on the diner counter in front of her, eyes coming to a close.

The G's diner was becoming a nightly hangout for me. Good food, quiet atmosphere. As I was finishing my meal I heard the door open, figures, this place is becoming a social hot spot. I didn't notice who came in. It wasn't until she asked for coffee that my head shot up. I'd know that voice anywhere. I was stunned for a bit, I did not expect to Vela anytime soon, if at all. I spilled my water glass trying to get the hell out of the booth. I walked up to Vela and placed my hand on her shoulder, "Funny, this doesn't look like LA." I said with a smile. I saw the look on her face, the worry, the pain, the sadness. Been there too, recently. I grabbed her up and hugged her.

We held each other for a few moments before I broke away. I was still holding her by the arms. "What the hell? How did you ... why are you..." I hugged her again. I don't have many friends nor any close friends, save one, and I was holding her. I let go enough to walk her over to the booth I was at and had her sit down. The waitress already cleaned the mess I made. I sat across from her. "How is it that your here?" I asked. "I had the day off and wanted to find my friend." she replied. The whole time I never let go of her hand.

We talked for a long time. I told her about how I hooked up with Jack and the crew, she told me the same about Dub. We talked about what we knew of our other former crew members, who went where and such. We talked about Ely towards the end. We were both, I think, avoiding the topic. Still hurt. She said she had to be back to work tomorrow, but was to tired to travel tonight.

I paid the bill and we left the diner. A cab was dropping off a passenger as we walked out, I held the door for the gentleman. He gave me a wary look, thanked me and walked away. Vela and I got in the cab. I gave the cabbie the address to the apartment I rented. As the cab drove we didn't talk. I could tell she was still hurt and did not want to upset here further. Just enjoying the quiet time with my dear friend was good enough for me.

The cab stopped in front of my apartment building. "You can stay here if you like or I can pay for a room for you." I told her. To spend a little more time with Vela or watch her be driven away, both ideas gave me goosebumps. I stepped out of the cab and looked back at her, waiting for her response patiently.

She had drifted off to sleep, unaware that she was in the middle of a restaurant diner. Vela's luck had finally caught up to her though when she was suddenly awoken by a man tapping her lightly on the shoulder. Out of shock and tiredness, she quickly lifts her head up, before looking around cluelessly. Vela then realised she had taken a nap, the result of that cup of coffee she had. She thought she would be able to keep herself up, and now her face flushed, embarrassed that she left herself get distracted like that. As she stared around her, she wondered who tapped her. She cocked her head sideways, spinning her body around in the stool she was comfortably positioned on, before her jaw dropped miraculously to the floor. Her eyes lit up with happiness, though she could only return a half-smile as she was still trying to wake herself up. "Friend! I am so happy to see you." Vela gushed as she embraces him in a hug. As Jonny then mentioned Los Angeles, her safe haven, her smile had quickly turned into a frown as she remembered the trauma that came with the retirement of Ely and dismantling of Skinwalkers.

Vela's face was red when she realised that she had been longer than expected, so she cleared her throat and they broke off the affectionate gesture. She was ecstatic to find him here. Funnily enough, the diner seemed to be the place where they would bump into each other, no matter what city they were in. Last time it was Los Angeles, now Philadelphia. This was what family was, an inseparable bond, two former family members meeting up at a diner, starting from where they left off, like nothing ever happened.

Like a disaster hadn't just struck their family.

She shook her head, snapping herself back to reality. Vela wanted to focus more on the present, and not on the past, which held dark secrets and mysterious plots. Vela looked at him longingly in the eyes, before finally giving a full grin. As Jonny asked Vela what she was doing here, she replied in haste, not forgetting to mention that he was a dear friend and that the memories they shared would never be wiped away, because of the fact that she couldn't afford to lose another family member again. After the abandonment as a child by her mother, she only wished for someone to walk into her life and make her feel loved again. The wounds that she held in her mind started to heal a little bit, as she updated him on the past few hours, looking for recruitment. "I'm with Dub for the moment." She grinned, beginning to wonder which cities the other crew members may have found themselves in after hearing about Ely. Hearing Jonny tell her that he was now associated with Jack made Vela feel felicitous, as somewhere in the back of her mind since she started looking for him, she was worried that maybe he would've gone rogue or disappeared from the face off earth. Even though she hung around at the family headquarters a lot, back in the foothills of San Gabriel, she didn't really get to see how close Jonny and Ely really were, though she figured that Jonny was just distraught as her.

Vela studied his face as they started to talk about Ely and Keeks' decision to retire. Though it was hard to accept, Vela had to stay strong for her sister and her family. Someone needed to be there who would carry them through the storm, in this case, was a whirlwind of negative events that chose LA as the target. Truth be told, she didn't know how long she was going to take to finally come to terms with it, but hopefully real soon, as she was with another family now and didn't want to disappoint him. Vela would be forever grateful for the Skinwalkers of Pasadena, Los Angeles- and meeting Jonny allowed her to see past the anguish she carried in her heart.

Surprisingly, they talked all through the night, only Vela now noticing that she couldn't see anything outside besides the street lights that bounced off the curb, providing light to the nearby walkers. Vela sagged her shoulders, not bothered to get up, or even motivated to finish her coffee. "I think I'm just tired.." She paused, yawning, before thanking the server for her warm beverage. Vela continued. "Don't think I'd be able to get back before midnight tonight." Vela stretched her arms out, making a funny sound as she loosened the muscles in her back, before getting off her stool, which now made her butt numb. She walked ahead of him, waiting for Jonny to finish paying his bill, and they walked out in the outside world together. She wrapped her arms around her waist, sneaking glances at Jonny, who was ushering drivers from the sidewalk. At last, a cab driver pulled up beside them, a passenger from the backseat just hopping out of the vehicle, whom Jonny held the door for. Not long after, she was seated in the taxi, leaning her head against the door side closer to her, her heart beginning to break apart again, the pieces of the puzzle that were messed up again waiting to be fixed.

It was no use, trying to force a conversation during the drive. Vela spent most of the day running around, panicking, looking for Jonny and the last thing she wanted was to put all her problems out on him so she set her mouth in a tight line, not saying another word until the journey ended. Fortunately, she didn't end up taking a nap again, but she was relieved to see that the cab driver parked in front of an apartment complex. She was brought back to the time when they had met up at a diner back in Pasadena, inviting him to stay a little longer, an invite which Jonny couldn't accept as Vela remembered that he had other things to attend.

History repeats itself? Vela didn't have anywhere else to stay in Philadelphia, as she had only planned to be here for the day, before going back to Chicago, so she willingly accepted Jonny's offer to stay with him for a night. "Thank you... This is so kind of you. Also don't worry about paying for a room. I can take the couch if you like..." She replied shyly, looking down at the ground and fiddling with her fingers.

The night ended with Vela making her way with Jonny to his rented apartment room, excited to take off her shoes and drop dead on a soft surface.

"Heh. Just really ready to go to sleep." She smiled.

My apartment is small, but will furnished. I unlocked the door and held it open for Vela, "Thank you kind sir." she said with a smile as she entered. I closed the door and went to the little kitchen, "Would you like some tea?" I asked. "Sure." she said as she walked around the living room looking at different items.

I put the kettle on to heat up and opened a window to let in the night air. She picked up an old Italian pocket watch, "This is beautiful. Where did you find it?" she asked. "During the war. I was a medic and come across a wounded Italian soldier. He was shot up pretty bad, I did what I could. He handed me a bundle of letters and that watch. He tried to tell me something, but was too badly injured to talk." The kettle was whistling. I went to the kitchen and got two cups down, some Tender Leaf tea and the tea ball. I carried it all to the table. As we made are tea I continued, "He didn't make it. I held on to those letters and watch for the next five months. I took my leave and went to Pordenone Italy, to the address on the letters. It was his family's home. They were saddened to hear of their son's passing, but grateful to me for bringing his belongings home. They took me in for a few days, fed me, put me to work chopping wood. It was really quite pleasant. As I was saying my goodbyes, His mother gave me the watch back, 'We have memories of him, you need something to remember him by as well.' was all she said to me and kissed me on the cheek." I picked up the watch and twirled it by the chain, "It is one of the greatest gifts I ever received."

We finished our tea and talked for a little bit longer, then I went and got some sheets, blanket and pillow. "My house, my rules. You get the bed and I take the couch." I said with a smile. She laughed and swatted my arm, "Aye, aye captain." and headed towards the Murphy bed. I made up the couch thinking of the great day I just had. Seeing Vela again and reconnecting, it was one of the two greatest gifts I ever received. I laid down and was asleep before ...................................................

As far as Vela's brain power, she was mentally drained to say the least.

She smiled gently to Jonny as she watched him walk over to the couch, tucking himself in. Vela tiredly propped herself on the bed, pulling the comforter over her shoulders. "Goodnight Jonny. See you in the morning." She approved, wrapping the blanket tighter around her waist. Vela patted the blanket hard for any dust that might be on it, leaning her back against the headboard with her eyes shut. There was something so special between them that she couldn't brush off. She appreciated him in every way, the unexpected encounters they experience with each other and the friendly gestures that he shows to her. Vela felt grateful that she accepted his offer to stay with him for the night. If it was any other night, she might have declined, but it was already late as it is and she was extremely tired from running around trying to search for him. Before she knew it, Vela fell into her deep sleep, Jonny's snores echoing throughout the apartment room. Her sleep was interrupted when she rises quickly from the mattress, the sound of lightning suddenly travelling to her ears. "Oh fuck.." She whispered scarily to herself, getting out of the bed, rushing over to Jonny with a frown on her face. "Jonny! Jonny, wake up.. Please." Lightning was one of Vela's fears, though she never once talked about it before, but now she could admit it because she already opened up to him back home in LA. "Jonny...." She whispered one last time, poking his cheek to get his attention, but still no luck. With her luck running out, she decided to just squeeze beside him on the couch. "I'm sorry... I'm scared." She croaked, pulling his blanket closer to her waist. There was not much space on the couch to spread her legs out, but she wasn't bothered, Vela just wanted someone to be beside her while the thunderous noise vibrated the windows. Vela hoped he wouldn't be too shocked or freaked out to find her sleeping beside him, but she was too tired to care, her eyelids finally starting to shut.

When morning came, luckily Vela didn't have to worry about explaining herself to him as she woke up early. As soon as she got up from the couch, a bit too fast like she was allergic to him or something, she decided to hop in the shower and get herself refreshed and energised for the day. When she was done with her shower and fixing her appearance, she came out looking clean in a nice hoodie and some jeans. Vela walked closer to the couch to get a better look of Jonny, who was still asleep. Suddenly, a low rumble erupted from her stomach and she groaned quietly. "Gosh dammit." She mumbled, rubbing her sore tummy. Vela went to go look for a sticky note so she could write a message that she was just going to head to the nearest convenience store to get some breakfast food for the both of them. The last thing she had was only a cup of coffee, which was hours ago now. Last night! Vela sighed as she rushed around the room, looking in cabinets for any paper and pens. A few minutes had already passed and she still could not find any. "No use." She grimaced to herself, scratching the back of her head in annoyance. Vela decided to just head out, hopefully she'll be back before he would wake up. Carefully, she walked her shoes to the door trying not to make too much ruckus, before she closed the door behind her. Vela looked down the hallway, finding no one walking out of their rooms yet. She reached the end of the hallway, where she could see the landlord sorting out some peoples rooms. Vela quickly interrupted the conversation the landlord was having with some new tenants, ducking her head slightly. "I'm just going to go out for a few. If Jonny, the man I came in with, wakes up, can you tell him I'll be back shortly?" She asked politely, hoping to not make it seem like she was doing suspicious, which wasn't her intention.

"Sure. No problem. Best be on your way now then before he wakes up to find you gone!" He winked, slapping his hand on the receptionist desk playfully. "Right." Vela chuckled quietly, thanked him and sped for the streets to find the nearest store that sold ramen noodles, bread or anything else that was breakfast worthy. She kept on walking around, feeling hopeless, until she stopped by a green sign that read "FOR THE PEOPLE". From outside, she could see that they were selling all sorts of things like kitchenware, books, clothes and... food! Vela smiled and she immediately headed for the door, opening it to see two people approach her. Vela thought they were going to greet her into the store as they looked like employers, but when they opened their mouths her body tensed. "Lock the doors, Elk." A man with a sinister smile eyed her carefully, his body just a few inches from her. The man whose name seemed to be Elk rushed to the door, locking it, turning their 'OPEN' sign around. Vela was shook and suddenly the man had a tight grip on her elbow. The man dragged her into the back, while Vela screamed out, struggling out of his arms. "Why are you doing this?!?!" She badgered, her arms being pulled into what looked like a dark, storage room. The man whose name was Elk followed in behind them, grabbing Vela's other arm as the other one locked the door. Elk stayed close to her side, slapping her mouth if she tried to utter anything. Vela spat aggressively on the man, her spit landing on the side of his cheek. "Bitch. You're gonna pay for that." He bellowed, moving her into a position where her stomach was on the floor and his hands still viciously clasped on both of her arms. Vela bit her bottom lip hard, trying to use her free legs to kick the man, Elk, in the jaw. The man who first got a hold of her bent down in front of her to look at her face. He used his thumb and index finger to lift her chin up. The man had a questionable tone in his voice as Vela looked up at him begrudgingly.

"She's gonna pay indeed. With her clothes stripped from her body..." He smirked, standing up again and reaching for the zipper on his pants.

"Okay pervert. Well someones coming for me so hold tight before your manhood gets sliced to pieces." Vela growled, her eyes on the pistol attached to the man's belt.

I woke to Vela sleeping next to me. Needless to say, I was intrigued. I thought it best to pretend I was asleep as to not scare her. Within moments of waking and possible adjusting myself, she shot up. I laid there like a cadaver. She got up and went into the bathroom. I heard the shower start. She finished a little while later and came back to the living room. I still played dead. I heard her rummage around looking for something, a pause, then she opened the door and left. I got up a quietly head for the door. I listened as she explained to the landlord who she was and what she was doing. I waited by the door for about three minutes before I followed.

She was walking down the street looking for something. She finally stopped by a building and opened the door. I watched as two goons grabbed her and hauled her in, closing the door behind them. I reached into my coat and pulled out my gat and ran towards the door. I paused and listened. Words were said, but getting further away. I tried the door .... locked. I grabbed my pick set and within a minute was in.

I heard voices at the end of the building and followed the noise. " She's gonna pay indeed. With her clothes stripped from her body..." was what I heard before I opened the door. Two guys had Vela down on the ground getting ready to do .... I shot the first fucker standing over her and trained my gun on number two. "WAIT!" he yelled, "It's not what it seems." I'll remember to put that on his grave marker as I put a bullet through his head as well.

I went to Vela and picked her up. She looked at my face and damn near killed me with a hug, mostly around my neck. "Easy, easy." I said, "It's all good now." She slowly let go and looked at the two bodies, "Shit, you could of left one for me." she said. I hugged her again.

Roger rounded the corner just in time to notice jonnythecon working a lock over and slipping inside of a door. With interest growing, Roger wondered what one of his crew would be doing breaking in to the storefront. As the man slipped inside, Roger rushed along the wall and caught the door with his foot just before it slammed shut. He could hear voices as he traveled down the corridor leading to the back of the building... Someone was in for it, but was it Jonny doing this to some poor girl? Nah... Couldn't be! He'd seen the guy around the HQ and he'd seemed square enough. A regular old Wise Guy... Not a dirty pervert.

He heard a voice yell... That definitely wasn't Jonny's voice. The man sounded agitated though.

"She's gonna pay indeed. With her clothes stripped from her body..."

"Who tha fuck?" Roger started to whisper before he flinched at the sound of a gunshot. "Fuck!" he whispered under his breath and pulled his .38 from his shoulder harness and hustled down the corridor toward the gunfire. He could barely make out what sounded like someone pleading for their life...

***Another gunshot***

"Sonova-" Roger got out as he slid to a halt at the door, gun trained on Jonny and Vela before he lowered his weapon.

"What the fu-" Roger ducked back around the corner quickly as Jonny wheeled around and fired his weapon blindly into the corridor behind him...

"HEY HEY PAL! I'M WITH YOU! I WORK AT THA PIER ON RACE STREET!" he yelled loudly at a trigger happy Jonny. Slowly, Roger poked his head around the corner and waved both hands. "Gonna holster my piece now, aight?" He slowly slipped his gun back in to the harnesses holster under his jacket and took off his fedora to dust it.

"Hey pal, Jonny, right? Seen ya at tha pier. I'm Ruggiero Coniglio... Pals call me Roger." He offered Jonny his hand while nodding to the quite lovely Vela. "An' buongiorno, signora."

Flipping his hat and placing it back on his head, Roger smiled to both of them. "You gonna need help cleanin' up this mess? Or should I, ya know, scram an' let ya be alone?" He chuckled. Jonny looked as if he was going to apologize for shooting at Roger, but Roger stopped him with a wave of his hand.

"Fugeddaboutit, pal. I get it. Happens when you're jumpy after a fight. Hell, I'da shot at me too." He smirked before pulling out his case of cigarettes and that damnable custom Zippo... EVERYONE was seeing that thing lately. Stupid rabbit engraved on it with his last name curved over the top of it. A quick flip lit the lighter which lit his cigarette. He offered the other two a smoke before putting the case away and inhaling deeply, feeling the smoke warm his lungs before blowing it out overhead.

"What the fu-" was all I heard, I turned and fired. "HEY HEY PAL! I'M WITH YOU! I WORK AT THE PIER ON RACE STREET!" he yelled, I lowered my gun. The man poked his head around the corner and seeing my gun at my side, stepped out. He put his gun away and offered me his hand, I shook it, "Sorry about that." I said and put my gun back in the holster. His name was RogerConiglio, a member of the crew I had not met yet. I was gonna apologize again, but he waved me off. "Fugeddaboutit, pal. I get it. Happens when you're jumpy after a fight. Hell, I'da shot at me too." he laughed.

He offered to help clean the place, I shook my head, "No. Leave it as is. The cops won't be able to pin it on us and I want the rest to know what happens when you fuck with my friends!" It came out heated and I saw Roger raise an eyebrow, I was still angry and tried to calm myself, "But thank you for offering to help Roger." He nodded and lit a cigarette.

I asked Roger to check the door and make sure the coast was clear, then I took the pistol from the man I first shot, looked around to make sure nothing was left behind and escorted Vela to the door. Roger looked out, up and down the street, "Clear." he said and opened the door and stepped out, Vela next. I closed the door quietly behind me. We started walking up the street looking like three friends just out for a drink.

The door suddenly burst open. Vela saw Jonny at the door, with hooded eyes and a sneer on his face.

She jumped upon hearing the sound of his pistol going off, the man towering over her was now drop dead on the floor. Another shot was fired to the man beside her, bloody stains marking the walls of the secluded room. Don't have a mental breakdown right now Vela, she thought to herself. She hated to be seen as weak or vulnerable, but the more she tried to bottle up her feelings, the more tempting it was to let it all out. "FUCK!" She shouted, pulling her legs to her chest as she buried her head in her arms. "I'm sorry.. I.. I'm not strong enough... I am too powerless to fight." Vela glumly said, being pulled into a warm hug in Jonny's arms. He tried to calm her down, but she was kicking around and trying to get out of his grip. "I don't deserve you. I don't, I don't, I don't!" Vela fought him more, but then a moment of contentment washed over her and she slowly stopped letting the demons take over her. Slowly, but surely, she let Jonny's warm embrace wrap her pale figure, Vela's screams finally coming to a stop. For a while it was just the two of them in that room, holding each other and Vela trying to coo herself. However, the heartwarming experience quickly came to an end when a man appeared at the doorway, holding a deadly weapon.

"Oh shit Jonny someone is here!" She cried out sharply, putting her hand on Jonny's elbow before he rose up and turned his back from her. Vela noticed the man putting his gun down already, but it appeared that he had dodged a bullet when Jonny recklessly fired a bullet in his direction. A remark was made from the man who stated that he was a fellow associate of Jonny, making Vela more curious now about his identity. A blush then crept on her face when a thought came to her mind that she was surrounded by two dashing men. "You guys work together? Oh.. uh what a great way to meet again. I'm Vela. Yeah.. Got into bit of a situation here." Vela began, scratching her head. She got up from the ground, making her way over to Jonny and the new man, who she learnt was named Ruggiero. He started to ask if they needed help with cleaning the mess, which Jonny replied to, so Vela just stood around them cluelessly. The room was suddenly filled with cigar smoke, making Vela cough a little. "Yeah. Let's go now. No one is here." Vela broke in, walking with Ruggiero and Jonny out of the store. She didn't have any other plans today, other than looking for breakfast food which she failed in trying to do. "So, is there something you guys want to do? I don't have much planned for today.  Though I do have to get back to the headquarters..." She realized, eyebrows furrowed. "Hm... Well I don't have to go back till tonight so I'll just follow you guys around for the day. I hope that's cool if I tag along..." Vela added, a blush suddenly forming on each of her pale cheeks when she only just noticed how small she looked compared to them.

Vela walked beside them down the busy streets of Philadelphia, unbothered and acting like she didn't just almost get raped by two corrupt men, having nothing better to do with their lives other than make vulnerable girls prey to their sadistic acts. "Also um please.. whatever happened in that room stays in that room." She begged, clearing her throat, unconsciously zipping up her coat like someone was going to do the same thing to her any second now. "Anyways, I don't really know where we're going. Anyone want to suggest a spot to hang out or something and just talk about life?" She thought it was rather corny to ask that, but she was just looking for random ways to kill time until she'd have to go back to Detroit.
