Who was elected to the circuit court by a huge margin, will suddenly be trashed starting tomorrow by those who voted years ago in his favor. Further proof the swamp exists. He will be smeared and probably his family as well. There is NOT one reason why this man cannot be confirmed in one hour. The left is already conjuring up the hysteria. Yet many are risking their career. This will be very entertaining. |

That's not how nominating a S. Ct. justice works. |

awww hell. Do we have to deal with this here? I come to MR to get away from the news and reality for a while. The last thing I want is to see political posts here too.
Or in other words, Get your damn politics out of my escape, and take it back where people give a fuck. |

| Don't read if you got a problem with what's happening on the outside in the political arena. In the meanwhile I will exercise the First Amendment.😛 | |

| Thanks Rafa. I like political talk/debates. Will you please elaborate further on your thoughts on the nomination process. | |

Mainly I took issue with, "There is NOT one reason why this man cannot be confirmed in one hour." This is not accurate at all. I believe the fastest judge [of those currently sitting] to be approved by the senate after Presidential nomination was around 40-60 days. |

| Fair enough Rafa. I exaggerated on the time frame. The resist movement before a man or woman was nominated took me there..😛 | |

Indeed. Plus, after Roe v. Wade, nominations and approvals have become highly politicized. In particular, the approval aspect by the senate. Due to this, the senate has been given a lot more leeway in taking their time and using leverage with viewpoints to approve the nomination. Chances of having a quick approval from now on are highly unlikely. |

| Exactly Rafa! It was Roe vs Wade that created a political arena that has since proven to disrespect the Constitution and the rule of law. They are not suppose to legislate and make new laws. MAGA | |

I really don't understand your persistence in singing up to MR to discuss American politics. Its just weird imo. |

"Exactly Rafa! It was Roe vs Wade that created a political arena that has since proven to disrespect the Constitution and the rule of law. They are not suppose to legislate and make new laws. MAGA" This is not correct. Not going to discuss why. |

| Maybe Shae- would find it more interesting to debate what GF Tyler Durden buys with the 100 buxs he found tonight. | |
