Word s on the streets: "Pasadena has a new Boss" | Started by: Vincent_Mancini on Jul 13, '18 15:08 |
Wasnt Vincent favourite mean of communication, but nothing more respectable then receiving a written invite. Could be seen as a "physical" evidence of respect, also a mark in History. And the history of Pasadena would definitly be different from now on.... In few days, Bosses all over the country would receive, delivered by hand, a letter, on a envelope marked by a
Heavy rain didnt stop a mob gathering, umbrellas covering most of the space where almost unnoticed some of the Bodyguards and drivers all waited outside, no one outside of the upper structure allowed. LA´s was getting into shape Vincenzo allways tried to make like in the old country, simple, strict and Cosa Nostra only eyes. "Thanks all for coming, the comission as well as other CL´s from all around. Duclaw is young. But as all it takes, comes No more. From now on Duclaw will be under me organising things there, will be a good era. Has the greenlight to do whetever it Vincenzo cools down, looks up "this bolt is our fear in them" "Again, thanks for the blessing, Joseph_Ligambi and Salvatore_Luciano and Marie_Lucania as well as all the crews over the country. Buona fortuna Duclaw!" |

With no one making an effort to step forward, Roger sighed and lowered his head. This was a big deal for L.A. Especially with new leadership needed in Pasadena. DuClaw was going to really earn his stripes, and it made the Coniglio man happy to see some new blood in the position. He smiled as the Italian leader of L.A. spoke. It was easy enough to understand him and Roger whistled with some applause. "SALUTE, DUCLAW! BUONA FORTUNA!" He grinned and walked up to shake the young blood's hand, offering his with a nod. "It's your destiny, pal... You're gonna do great things for L.A. Tha both of ya will." He nodded to Vincent and DuClaw both, offering his hand to Mr. Mancini after speaking with the new head of Pasadena's district. "I'm sure with a real man of honor such as yourself, Mr. Mancini, that DuClaw will do wonderful things under your tutelage. Con rispetto, amici." He tipped his head again, grabbing the brim of his fedora and pulling it low over his eyes as he turned away. He slipped his hand in his pocket and produced a cigarette alongside a custom Zippo with a rabbit engraved on it. A quick flick of his fingers had the lighter ablaze and he lit the cigarette as he walked away, slipping into the crowd. A light puff of smoke trailed over the umbrellas for a moment before the rain caused it to dissipate and the Italian-American vanished completely from sight within the large crowd. |

Dawn was slowly sweeping in over the city and shortly thereafter the sun embraced the city with its warm embrace, just as the - "Welcome back home, I hope the meeting went well." Shortly before arriving at their destination, Penseur turned to DuClaw; |

Manfredi hears the good news over the HQ. It seems his bud and second in command had stepped up and was allowed to form his own family. As the news was spread across the block, and later on the streets, it was certainly the new don was already a sucess. In the HQ, Manfredi knew he had to aim as high as the former RHM of the band, so he did. In the same day, he encontered Don DuClaw over the taylor, and greeted him with all the respect he deserves. |
