A bee buzzed past his head and made its way over to a nice wild flower sitting along the side of the path. The park was a bit empty due to how early in the morning it was, but Calimero could sleep no longer. Something was eating at his soul lately in regards to his faith. This morning he did not carry his rosary or his bible with him. He felt he needed to distance himself from those items as he fought with the thoughts flying through his head. Around the next bend he spotted a man sitting next to the pond.

He was not sure who it was at a distance, but the man seemed to be watching the ducks and the fish as they went about their lives. As he continued his walk along the path he eventually was able to make out who the man was. It was Apache, a leader here in Detroit that Calimero had met on a couple other occasions.

The idea popped into his head to spark a conversation with Apache as it might just help him with his problems. So he made his way to the side of the pond and took a seat next to him. He did not look up, but just began to speak...

"So what is troubling you my friend?" He continued to look at the fish as they swam to and from different areas.

Calimero chuckled, "It is usually me who is asking that question on a day to day basis. Not very often at all does somebody ask me."

Apache smirked slightly, "Are you not a human like everyone else? Do you not also feel many of the things we do? Or does your position in the church take that from you?"

Calimero couldn't even feel any anger at the sarcastic remarks towards his religion as Apache was completely correct. He sighed and stretched his back. The ducks were making quite a ruckus as they seemed to be fighting among themselves.

"Well, I have been battling within myself in regards to my religion. I have always viewed what I do for those I work for as God's plan for me. What if it is not? What if I have sinned so horribly that I cannot be forgiven?" He could not believe he finally released his concerns to another person.

"I know we have differing beliefs, so how do you handle such feelings or questions? Have you ever strayed from what you were taught about your beliefs? Would you have any advice for myself?" Calimero felt that Apache was a wise leader and a man that could definitely help him with this.

Report Post Tip

Apache woke up a little earlier than usual today.  He decided that he was going to take a troll through the park to try to clear his mind before the day began.  He often did this when he had a stressful day before.  He grabbed his medicine wheel necklace and headed out the door.  It was the perfect time of year, everything was so bright.  The flowers color was sticking out and the pond was really blue it seemed on this specific day.  Apache decided to go look at the living around the pond.  The fish were swimming peacefully without a worry in the world.  The ducks were bathing without any intentions of nibbling at the fish. The day was looking good so far.

as he was kneeling down by the pond he felt the presence of a concerned person behind him.  Apache had a gift being able to feel people’s presence and the emotions that came with them.  After talking with Calimero_DiGrazia and allowing him to voice his concerns, Apache wondered to himself on how he was going to be able to explain his spiritual outlook on life.  The men had almost opposite views, while Calimero was very religious, Apache is spiritual.  Despite the differences they did share one thing in common, the wondering of worthiness.

”Well my friend,  we differ a lot in our beliefs.  One thing I can say is I often wonder if I am worthy of this Mother Earth, as you are for god.  The main part of this circle of life is that we were ment to be, and we were ment to go.  In my beliefs we are just visitors on this beautiful living earth.  No matter what happens, what you do or what you don’t do the earth is going to support you!”

Apache looked up at Calimero and grabbed at the necklace around his neck.  The necklace medallion was a handmade circle beaded with four different colors.

“This is Called a medicine wheel.  It is the blueprint to my people’s spirituality.  As you can see everything comes in groups of four, just like the four colors on the wheel.  White is for birth, yellow is for youth, Red is for adulthood and finally Black is for death.  In our ways everyone follows this circle of life.  No matter what you do or what you do not do the circle will keep moving.  To my people there is no set plan except for that.  Now if you decide to make a difference that will be your legacy but it will not effect the circle of life!”

Calimero seemed very interested in what the Native Man was telling him.

Report Post Tip

The words were sinking in for Calimero as he listened to Apache speak to him about his thoughts on the topic. What he said was very interesting and enlightening. The Medicine Wheel was so simple, but had so much depth to it at the same time. He could do whatever he wanted or needed to in life and he would end up in the same place as everyone else....the afterlife. That could not be any more true for this life he chose working in the life of crime.

"I see what you're saying. I can't truly change my destination. I can do whatever I need to do in life and eventually I will meet the same fate. Although of course we do differ as my religion does believe in eternal damnation. I suppose that it also allows for repentance after many of my actions. I also have been serving the lord as I try to guide others." Calimero could still feel many of his thoughts racing a bit of doubt within himself.

He looked from the water and back to Apache, "I may not have found all the answers from what you said, but it has given me some more to think of and for some reason it has definitely brought some calm into my mind. So I have to thank you for that."

He looked up as a few of the ducks sprang from the water in a hurry to fly away. Interesting.....he thought to himself...

Just as he was about to ask Apache another question he watched as one of his bodyguards came down the path staggering and holding his side. Calimero began to rise up when blood exploded from the mans forehead and a gunshot was heard. The man collapsed to the ground in a bloody heap.

"What the fu...." He was cut off by the sound of another shot and the sound of a bullet flying past their heads.

He pushed Apache out of the way and dove behind some brush by the pond. Turning quickly to Apache while pulling out his pistols from their holsters.

"Well, if I had to guess that's some retaliation from the Durden crew after I messed up a few of his men at a local bar. Do you have any weapons to defend yourself?" He sure as hell hoped that Apache would have at least something he could use.

Report Post Tip

After the man took a bullet to his skull and Calimero pushed Apache he started to get situated for the attack.  Apache reached into his satchel and grabbed out a bundle of tomahawks.  Calimero looked at Apache with worry on what he was going to do with those against the guns that were firing at them!

”Give us cover fire brother! I’m going to do what I do best!”

Apache did come from one of the most vicious Native American tribes in the world.  Calimero peaked over the bush and sent shots toward the oppositions.  Unable to hit them but it gave Apache the distraction needed to sneak away from the Bush.  He dove from Bush to bush trying not to be seen.  Then a woman ran and dropped right next to the bush Apache was hiding.  Blood was leaking out of her mouth. Apache noticed the two shots to the innocent woman’s abdomen.  This is when Apache snapped.  He thought to himself what Calimero and he was talking about, them said aloud to himself “Fucking circle of life!”

Apache crouched and moved behind a huge oak tree.  Thankfully Calimero was still sending shots causing the durden crew unable to see Apache make his moves.  Then Apache noticed a man ducked behind a bench about 25 yards away.  There was also a man running down the sidewalk directly in front of the tree Apache was hiding behind.  Apache knee it was Tim to make his move.  With precision he slung a tomahawk over his head.  Before it could even land at the guy behind the bench, Apache pulled another one from his waistband.  He bum rushed the other man sticking the axe into his skull.  Then he looked and seen the man behind the bench stumbling around with the axe stuck in his neck. Then came the devastating shot from Calimero going through the back of the mans head and out his eye socket.

All of a sudden about 5 shots rang out right at Apache, luckily they missed and he was able to get back behind the tree.  But his location had been compromised and he was hoping Calimero had a trick up his sleeve?

Report Post Tip

Calimero continued to pop up to fire a few shots, keeping Apache's advances hidden and letting him get to work. By the time Calimero noticed one man stumbling, Apache was taking another one down. So Calimero fired a quick shot to finish off the man stumbling about. Eventually the Durden crew realized what was happening and Apache was pinned down behind a tree with shots raining down on him. That cover wouldn't last forever if the Durdens began to flank him. So it was time for Calimero to try to make a move...

He looked around and to his surprise there was an older man hiding not too far off to his left. Quickly he reloaded both his pistols and turned to the gentlemen.

"Have you used a weapon before sir?" The man looked up at him and smirked.

"I served overseas for this great country so you bet your ass I've used a gun before." The man was actually wearing his dog tags.

"Alright then. I need you to take these two guns and lay down covering fire for me. They need to think that I'm still over here." He handed the man the pistols and his last two clips of ammo.

The man nodded and slid over to take Calimero's position before firing the guns a few times.

With that Calimero drew his knife out and slipped into the murky water. He had to hold his breath until he eventually made his way to the opposite shoreline. Once there he slowly crawled out of the water and into the brush, the sound of gunfire still constant. This was a risk and he knew it. There was a chance that the man he had trusted would accidentally shoot him or that he would be noticed and only have a knife.

As he made his way through the brush he saw that there were still seven men left shooting at "Calimero" and Apache. One of them lowered his pistol and told the men to spread out and flank us. He himself went over to a large case that was on the ground and pulled out a tommy gun. He then turned back to Apache and began to lay into the tree with gunfire chipping away at the bark and wood...

There was no time to waste. Calimero ran at the man from behind knowing the gunfire would cover the sounds of his movement. Just as he got behind the man he swung the knife into the side of abomen and then with another quick motion he pulled it out and grabbed the man by the neck as he lowered to the ground in pain. He then took the knife and sliced the man's neck open before taking the tommy gun from him.

Calimero made his way over to the trunk and pulled out a new magazine drum and it made a clicking noise as he replaced the old one. He turned to see four of the men across the lake surround and open fire upon the veteran who had helped him.....Calimero would make sure the man was buried with honor. He would have made a great recruit for their family....

He turned to see the other two men getting close to their flanking positions. Calimero watched as a tomahawk came out from behind the tree and struck one of the men square in the chest causing him to fire his gun wildly into the air. This had given the other man time to reach his position, but he was not accounting for Calimero's new position and weapon. He opened fire upon the man sending him flying backwards as he was riddled with bullets.

The four men across the pond had just made the realization that the man they killed was not Calimero. They finally noticed the tommy gun was no longer under their control and began to take cover themselves.....

Report Post Tip

Apache assumed he was done for. Especially after he started hearing sounds of the fully automatic tommy gun.  The bullets we raining in on the tree he had taken cover behind, causing bark and chips of wood to flurry through the air.  He knew he had to escape this spot but how.  He was unsure what his friend Calimero was planning,  all he could hear was pistol shots being fired from the same area he left Calimero.  Accepting the fact that he may have to make another move alone he looked down to see only three more tomahawks.

Right at that moment the tommy gunfire had stopped.  It was time for Apache to make his move.  He grabbed one of the tomahawks from his waist band and peaked around the tree looking for a target.  When he found his target he knew he would have to leave cover in order to make that throw, but that was just a risk he was going to have to take.  He took a hop step away from the tree and sent a tomahawk spearing through the air.  Befor the axe could hit his target he heard the tommy gun start back up.  Apache instantly dropped on to the grass trying to avoid being hit.

When he looked up a sigh of relief came over him as he noticed Calimero was the one operating the fully automatic rifle.  He looked to see where the remainder soldiers of the Durden family were at.  To his surprise they were taking cover on the other side of the walking path.  They must be running out of people Apach thought to himself.  Then he ran over to Calimero.

”Let’s go on the offensive brother!  Rush em!”

The two started running towards the hiding oppositions.  Calimero was sending shot one after another.  One of the bullets pierced the park bench hitting on of the men slightly in his neck.  Although the shot just nicked him it was able to strike fear in the rest.  The remainder of the crew began to rum away.  The man who had got tapped in his neck was unable to keep up with his friends.

Apache and Calimero ran to the man bleeding on the trail from his neck.  Now that the others left him maybe the duo could potentially get some information out of him.  Apache pulls a piece of yarn off of his clothes and flipped the guy on his back.  After tying the man up by his ankles and his wrists, Apache looks at Calimero.

“We can bring him to the headquarters man!  Maybe get a specific name of the man that called the hit!”

Report Post Tip

They ran together towards the last four Durden members were, firing his tommy gun along the way. One man was clipped and he was unable to keep up wit his friends as they retreated from their attempted hit. Apache took this chance to grab the man and trap him so that they could possibly question the man and figure out who ordered the hit exactly and where they could be found....

"I agree, we should take him somewhere for questioning. Although I think I would suggest the back room of my butcher shop. That way it's soundproof and we won't have to worry about anybody bothering us about what we're doing." He looked at Apache who just nodded in agreement.

The man was a bit heavy, but they dragged him to the outskirts of the park to where his car was parked. The car had some bullet holes in it and two more of his bodyguards were laying on the ground dead. They didn't even have a clue what was coming till they were probably laying on the ground in their own blood dying. He let Apache take the man and put him in the backseat while he took a look at the engine to make sure it hadn't been damaged in the gun fight.

He looked around and to his relief the car would still work for them and get them to their destination. They both got inside, but Apache kept himself turned around to watch the guy making sure that he did not do anything to try to escape.

It was only a few blocks away and Calimero pulled the car right in front of the butcher shop. The couple of men standing outside saw the bullet holes and rushed to their aid. Calimero waived them off from helping him since he had not been injured.

"Take the garbage in the back seat to the back room. We need to have a chat about something. I want him on a chair and the tools laid out. Then get out and don't let anyone bother us for any reason. Understood?" He looked at each of the men and they quickly got to work dragging the man out of the backseat of the car.

"Alright my friend, let's get to work. Time to find out who wanted us dead and then we can go pay them a visit." A bit of a devious smile appeared on his face as they walked inside....

Report Post Tip

The man was drug inside by Calimeros thugs.  Calimero and Apache went inside the butcher shop and headed towards the back.  Calimero was right the room must be soundproof because you knew the man was screaming before he went in and now you could hear nothing.  Apache looked over at Calimero right before they walked inside the room.

“If we get the information needed or not he dies! It’s the circle of fucking life!”

The two me laughed at Apaches dark humor and entered the soundproof room.  While inside the captured man was taped to a chair pretty damn tight.  There was tape around each wrist, each ankle and even around his torso.  Apache started the interrogation while Calimero was getting his tools situated. Apache walks to the man and throws a viscous right hook into his ear.

“Tell me who sent you, you piece of shit!”

The man smiled and shook his head at Apaches attempt to get information.

”Do you know who I am, haha I’m not telling you guys shit!”

Apache stuffed two fingers into the neck wound that Calimero had given the guy with the tommy gun.

“How about now you fuck, trust me this will just get worst!”

The man laughed at Apache again once he released his neck.

Apache pulled off the mans left shoe causing the man to wonder what was going to happen next.  Apache pulled out his tomahawk and looked back up to see the guys face.  He looked tough as rocks.  Apache tapped the edge of the axe on the top of the mans big toe.  Then counted “1,2....” Chop! The mans big toe was separated from the rest of the foot.  It was bleeding non stop.  Apache quickly ran back to Calimero who was about ready to get the answer they needed.

“Let me see that torch! We need to stop the bleeding before he dies out on us!”

The guy was in shock looking down at his foot.  Once the shock stage came and left then came the screams of pain.  Good thing the room was soundproof.  Apache came back with the torch and began to ment the chopped foots skin back together stopping the bleeding.  The heat must of had hurt worst than the chop because the man squirmed around so much that his chair fell back.  Apache picked up the chair and walked back over to Calimero.

”He’s ready for you man!”

Apache pulled out his peace pipe and took a few puffs while Calimero tried to get the man to talk.

Report Post Tip

Calimero unrolled his tools on a spotless stainless steel table and pulled a few of them out from where they were nicely situated in pockets. "These will do..." he thought to himself as he looked at the pliers, hammer, and military knife. It was not often that he had to do such horrendous acts of violence. He always preferred to end things quickly with a bullet through the skull, but in this case he needed information and knew that the man they had captured would not talk...

He watched as Apache put a bit of a beating on the man and even began the more gruesome torture by taking his big toe and then cauterizing the wound. Then he turned to Calimero to let him make an attempt. As he watched Calimero, he also began to smoke a bit which would probably put the man in a bit more panic at just how calm and collected they were.

"Okay let us start with something basic, yes? Who are you?" He looked at the man while spinning the hammer slowing between his fingers.

The man looked up at him and then over at Apache, as if to somehow wish for the first man to come back.

"Don't look at him, he cut off your toe real quick. If you want to keep the rest of them and other parts of your body you might want to talk to me." The man finally seemed to give in a bit since he most likely thought that if he gave up some information that maybe the torture would stop.

"My name is Bobby O'Brien. I do the dirty work of the police force." Calimero quickly without thought brought the hammer down on top of the man's right knee causing him to scream out in pain.

"WHY did you hit me!?" He yelled between sobs.

"Well I assumed that you were most likely lying so I figured I would punish you immediately." He quickly passed the info on to one of his men to check out, "If I am wrong then I'll cut off the tip of my own pinky finger. Okay?"

This definitely did not help the man to settle down....

After a while of waiting his man came back in and whispered into Calimero's ear for some time. He nodded as he listened....

"So! You're name is Robert McCann. It's a smart technique to hide your name behind something that is partially true. Since I'm sure some people call you Bobby or Bob. I also now know that you're a Made Man in the Durden crew and that means you won't give up information easily. Thankfully we've learned plenty without you having to say a word." He smiled as the man clearly became uncomfortable in his seat.

"Now the important question. Who sent you to kill us? Was it Tyler himself? Marla or Robert? Maybe it was somebody else?" He looked at the man. This time he had the knife in his hand.

"I don't know, I wasn't given that information." Wrong answer.

Without a thought Calimero put the tip of the blade into the mans side and began to slowly twist it. The man was screaming in pain and trying to hold back the tears. He pulled out the knife and then found another spot to stab and twist. Eventually the man began to yell..

"Okay! Okay! It wasn't one of the big three. It was a Capo who wanted to show them he could make things happen. His name is Travnikov Petrovich." Finally some truth. Calimero knew this name.

He took the knife away and smiled at the man, "I'm glad that we could have this conversation and that I didn't have to resort to anything to extreme with you."

"Now you can finish this conversation with my friend here." He motioned to Apache.

As they passed each other Calimero winked at his friend knowing what this meant for the man in the chair, now that they had all the information that they needed...

Report Post Tip

Watching the approach that Calimero took made him look like a pro at interrogations.  Apache was not to used to the torture tactic he normally tries but ends up killing the man before any information was given.  After the information came out about the Capo Travnikov Petrovich from the Tyler Durden crew Calimero passed the fun over to Apache.  There was just one more thing Apache thought they should know to make it easier on them.  He grabbed a chrome 9mm pistol off the table and put the barrel to the mans face.

”Where do we find this Capo?”

He could tell the man really didn’t know by the trembling in his voice.  Apache didn’t care he was ruthless.  He sent a series of rounds into the guys jaw, teeth, eye and skull.  Blood sprayed out of the back of his head before his head tilted forward and began to pour down his shirt.  Apache put the pistol back on Calimeros working table.

”So how do we find out where this Travnikov is?  Do you think your guy can give us a location?”

Calimero called back in one of his men and had him run the name.  Then he ordered another one to bring the body somewhere it wouldn’t be found.  Before long the info came back and it wasn’t to good of news.  Calimeros man told them that there is no known address on there guy, and the only known hangout was the durdens headquarters.  Apache slammed his hands down on the table!

”Fuck fuck fuck! You know we won’t make it out alive if we go straight to the headquarters man!”

Apache was pissed.  He wanted to find this guy and beat him to death with his hands and he knew Calimero felt the same.  Then a idea popped into Apaches head.

”Can we get a picture of the guy?  If so we can stake out the Headquarters until we see him leave! He can’t stay in there for ever.  I’m sure he’s a big part of Tyler’s operation!”

Calimero snapped his fingers to his info guy, and the guy took off to get the visual.  In the meantime Calimero was getting prepared for anything. Grabbing a few guns and a bulletproof vest for both him and Apache.  When he tried to hand the gun to Apache the Native American man looked and laughed.  Calimero insisted on Apache having the pistol.

”Cmon man, those tomahawks are good but this is Tyler Durden we are talking about! One of the biggest families in mob history!”

Apache understood what Calimero was saying and took the vest and pistol just to keep him quiet.  That’s when the man came back with the photo of the capo.  It was only a mugshot but it would work.  Apache asked Calimero for binoculars and the duo headed out.  Calimero was diving and Apache was shotgun.  Once they got closer to the Durden headquarters they parked a block away and chose to walk on top of a hill outside the highly secured building.

A lot of people were in and out of the hangout but none of them matched the picture they were given.  This went on For about an hour or so when finally Apache seen a man that looks about right but the hair on his head was buzzed and not long like the mugshot.

“I think that’s him!”

Apache handed the binoculars over to Calimero who confirmed the suspicion.  The man was heading to the garage where he got into a green ford pickup.  Apache and Calimero ran back to the car to try to trail him and catch him alone.  Once again Calimero hopped in the drivers seat and tried to spin around the block to get behind the pick up.

Report Post Tip

The green pickup wasn't too far ahead as they trailed at a safe distance to keep down suspicion. This bastard wasn't going to get away while Calimero was at the wheel. He had learned how to tail people over in Italy and perfected it during his time in Chicago under Marie. This time he wasn't going to take any risks, just do what will work best and follow him to his destination.

This was probably one of their only chances to catch Travnikov by surprise. Even though he knew that his team had failed, he had no idea that any of them were taken alive to be questioned. He most likely thought that the three survivors were only there since they hadn't been gunned down by Calimero and Apache in that park.

Eventually after almost 45 minutes of driving the green pickup finally turned into a large parking lot in front of a massive warehouse. This could either be the ideal place to catch him or it would turn into a shootout. His gut told him it would be the latter of the two...

They parked their car on the opposite side of a chain link fence that was surrounding the parking lot. They watched from a distance as Travnikov made his way inside the building. The problem was that there were multiple other cars there and no way of knowing if they belonged to workers or mobsters. It was probably a risk they'd have to take....

"So Apache, we can either make our way inside and try to gun him down or we could wait outside and ambush him at his car. What do you think is the best tactic? We have no idea who is inside there with him. For all we know that is their weapons storage and we'll be attacking an armory worth of weapons and multiple mobsters to use those weapons." He knew that they needed to take this guy out before there was another hitsquad sent after them, but how risky was this all going to be without any backup.

Calimero looked at Apache as he seemed to be contemplating their options....

Report Post Tip

When they arrived to the warehouse that Travnikov pulled into Apache had a strong gut feeling that this was not the time nor place to attack.  All he could think about was another scare like at the park.  They both could of easily lost their lives and very well almost did.  He contemplated the options that were at hand.  The good part about going in would be the element of surprise. They would have no idea what was coming, but then again either do they.  For all they knew this is a big time operation inside and they were armed to the T.  Waiting for him to come out also had its perks.  He could go to a less suspicious spot after this stop, like a grocery store or a restaurant or something.  Or he could be grabbing more crew members inside which could turn out bad.  Apache looked over at Calimero undecided.

“Well I really don’t know the best play here man!  My gut is telling me to wait but my brain is telling me to use the element of surprise and go inside.”

Calimero looked up at Apache looking like he was having the same thoughts.

“I feel the same way that’s why im leaving the decision to you?”

Apache thought about his opinions again for a minute the felt like he had a good idea.

”Let’s go cut his gas line in his truck so when he’s driving he runs out of gas and has to pull over!”

Calimero thought that was a perfect idea.  He got out of the car and went to the truck and grabbed a pair of wire cutters.  The two approached the pick up inconspicuous.  Calimero told Apache to stay look out as he got underneath the pick up truck.  Not even 10 seconds after Calimero went under the truck the garage door to the warehouse opened and Travnikov and a few other men began to walk towards the pick up.

“Fuck man get out of there they are coming!”

Calimero crawled from underneath the vehicle unsuccessfully cutting the gas line.  Apache was looking around to see if they could sneak away without being noticed, but looks like they were not going to be able to do that.  Then Calimeros eyes widened as like he seen a ghost.

”Apache that’s Robert Paulson with him! Fuck they are going to kill us!”

Apache quickly noticed that in the back of the pickup was a bunch of crates of booze covered by a blanket.

”Quick hop in under that blanket.”

After getting out of sight the real fright came to Apache.  Robert was getting in the truck with Travnikov.  The truck started and they were now moving with no control of where they were headed.  Apache could only think of one scenario worst than this.  That was if this truck decided to go back to the Durden headquarters.  Apache decided to peek out of the blanket to see what was going on, then quickly pulled his head back.

”Well there are a couple cars trailing us now.  Let’s just stay quiet and still and see where this thing goes.”

Apache was now more nervous than ever, he put a hand on his tomahawk and looked over to Calimero who had pulled out his pistol and cocked it making it ready to fire if need be.  About 10 minuets later the truck came to a stop and Both members of the durdens family got out.  You could hear them arguing on where to drop the shipment off.  This was music to Apaches ears because he knew that it wouldn’t be here.  After a minute of argument Robert told Travnikov to bring the shipment to the shipyard.  Once the truck began moving Apache wanted to look to see what was going on.  He peeked out of the blanket again, this time there was no trail car and when he looked into the cab of the truck he only seen Travnikov.

”Alright brother it’s just him!  How should we do this now?”

Report Post Tip

They were now in a shitty situation being stuck in the back of a truck with Robert Paulson in the passenger seat next to Travnikov. When Apache said that name out loud all Calimero could think was "Well.....we're fucked now." since an assault or assassination attempt of Robert was probably a suicide mission for them. Word would spread very quickly if they tried something like that with Tyler's left hand man.

The truck drove on for a little while.....

When the truck stopped and voices rose he wasn't sure what was going to be happening next. Eventually things quieted down and the truck began to go once more. Apache was the one who kept peaking out to see what the situation was for them. This time he returned with good news for the pair. Paulson and the other vehicles were gone, now it was just them and Travnikov.

"Well fuck. I mean it's good we have him on his own now, but do we want to risk a car crash by taking him hostage or shooting him right now? I don't think we can risk him stopping somewhere else where there might be even more people from his crew." He looked at his pistol, then at Apache, and then up at the back window of the truck.

Under his breath, "Ah fuck me..."

He rose with a quick precise motion bringing the gun up as he did to find Travnikov at the end of the barrel behind the glass. Apache was starting to brace as he knew that this ride would most likely be getting rougher. Travnikov looked in his rearview mirror and the fright that appeared on his face was priceless. The car began to swerve as Calimero squeezed the trigger. Once....twice....three times and finally a bullet founds it's home inside Travnikov's skull.

His head fell forward onto the trucks steering wheel and they veered off the road and crashed right into a couple of parked cars that were in front of a brick building. Calimero felt his body lifting out of the truck as it made contact and he was sent flying over the truck and straight through the big glass window of the building in front of them.

The floor inside came at him quick and the air was knocked out of his lungs and he blacked out.....

A few minutes later...

Calimero awoke to voices talking over him on the ground, "Who the fuck is this guy?"

"Wait....isn't that Travnikov's truck outside. The one that crashed and delivered this guy through our window? What the hell is happening here?" Another man spoke in confusion.

The fact that these men recognized the truck made Calimero's stomach drop. Did he somehow shoot Travnikov and still end up in a business run by the durden crew? The luck of that wasn't just bad, it was pure shit. Maybe today was the day that God was not watching out for him and his friends.

He needed to react to the situation and get himself to safety, but his body just would not move. The crash had done too much damage and he was still too foggy to truly collect his thoughts.

"Hey, you go check out the truck and see if Travnikov is okay." So there was most likely at least three of these guys.

Although that was no guarantee since he really couldn't even bother to open his eyes. The moment they knew he was awake they'd start asking questions and those questions wouldn't be too friendly he assumed. Eventually whoever he ordered outside returned.

"Travnikov is dead man! He has the shipment in the back of his truck. Somebody must have been after him and the booze." The man who seemed to be in charge seemed to sigh at this news.

"Well, let's wake this guy up and see what he has to say. Maybe he was with Travnikov to help protect the shipment. Hopefully we don't lose two guys today." Those words were the miracle he needed today and they were his way out of this shitty situation.

The only thing he wondered about as they lifted and carried him to a chair was, "Where the hell is Apache?"

Quickly he heard somebody pouring water and before he knew it, that water was hitting him in the face causing him to "wake up" and freak out a bit in order to put on a show. The men grabbed him and calmed him down before having him sit back down.

"Where is Travnikov? Did they get the shipment?" The men looked at one another before returning to him.

"Travnikov is dead. Who was after the shipment and if you don't mind us asking who are you?" They seemed genuinely concerned, but at least they didn't seem suspicious.

"My name is Angelo Malducci. I have no clue who it was that was trying to hit us, but they had pistols and masks. They were driving a blue pick up. I assume they were hoping to wack us and make off with the product. Travnikov was doing his best to shake them and I was trying to fire back at them. Until....fuck that's right. A few bullets hit the back window and then I woke up here." He looked up at the men who seemed to be eating up every single word he had to say to them.

The only thing he hoped was that either they'd let him go soon or that Apache would hurry his ass up with whatever rescue mission he was putting together....

After telling Calimero that it was only Travnikov and them, Calimero made his decision.  He popped up from the bed of the truck blasting three shots and eventually hitting his target.  Apache knee the shot would cause a crash and decided to jump out of the bed of the truck the second he seen Travnikovs head fall limp.  They were going at high speeds and Apache jumped out with accuracy.  He made sure he made it over to the grass so not to hurt himself to bad.  The impact of the ground knocked the wind out of him as he was unable to complete the tuck and roll.  Once he was able too he looked up and seen Calimero did not make a exit.  The truck crashed into another car sending his friend through the front window of the brick building.

”FUCK!”

Apache rushes over to the building to see if his friend was okay. When he got close he seen that there were some concerned people walking towards the pick up.  A normal person would be scared calling for help if they seen this happen to someone.  These guys seemed pissed off.  These actions made Apache believe that they had also worked for Tyler Durden.  The odds of this situation are slim to none, but Apache won’t be taking any chances.  His main concern was to get Calimero, if he was still alive.

After the men looked in the truck and went back inside the building Apache snuck up to the broken window trying to hear some of the conversation going on inside.  He heard the questioning of his friend.  Calimero was leading them to believe he was with Travnikov and helping protect the shipment.  Until one of the men said aloud “I’m going to call Robert!”  Apaches stomach dropped and he went into instant warrior mode.  Although he had only became friends with Calimero a short while ago, they have been through a lot and it seemed as if they knew each other for a decade.  He was not just going to leave him in there.

Apache sucked down behind the bed of the truck, almost completely underneath it. He wanted to be sure the guy walking out to call Robert was not able to see him. He started to look around the ground for a weapon because he had lost his during the jump out of the pick up.  He noticed Calimeros chrome 9mm pistol to the right of the back left tire.  He reaches out trying his hardest not to expose his self.  Once he was able to retrieve the gun he pulled the clip out and seen that there was about 9 bullets left in the clip.  Then the man started to talk on his phone right in front of the truck.

”Hey Robert,  your man Travnikov just crashed his truck.  Somebody shot him.  Angelo is still alive though! ........ Angelo the guy who was with him...... What the fuck do you mean there was nobody with him? .......  Consider him dead!”

Apache knew it was over for his friend if he didn’t make his move now.  He stuffed the pistol in his waistband and reached down to his ankle to grab his small knife.  He knew he could not take a shot because it would be way too loud.  Apache snuck around the passenger side of the truck. Waiting for the man to hang up the phone with Robert.  Once he did he took one step and was caught off guard.  Apache grabbed the man by his hair and pulled his head back exposing his neck completely.  With one swift move Apache slid the blade around the man neck causing him to bleed out.  Within 5 seconds the mans body was limping out.  Apache calmly brought his body to the ground and rolled it under the truck.  When he looked around he seen a young couple that watched the whole thing unfold.  Both of their faces were frightened and they began to run down the sidewalk occasionally looking back to make sure Apache was not coming for them.

Apache had no idea how many people were inside so he decided to take a safer route.  He knew someone would come out to see what was taking the man so long to call Robert.  Meaning there would be one less man to fight when he goes to save Calimero.  Apache knee it was a risk but everything about this situation is risky.  He ran over to the side of the building and crouched down. Just like clockwork another man came out to check on his associate.  He was a little out of Apaches grabbing range and Apache knew he had to be silent.  He threw the knife directly at the man sticking it into his neck.  The man instantly grabbed at it and began to wobble a little on his feet.  Apache pulled the pistol out and bum rushed him smacking him dead in his nose with the butt of the pistol.  Once the man fell on his back Apache hit him in his head 4 more times caving in his skull and leaving him breathless.

Apache knew he had to move quickly now because he was pretty sure Robert was on his way to grab the shipment.  He ran through the front door cocking the pistol.  Turning around the corner he seen two men standing on both sides of Calimero.  He tucked the gun behind his back and walked towards the men with a idea.

”Hey, did you guys see the crash outside it’s pretty bad!”

Apache looked over to Calimero and winked as he was getting closer to the other two oppositions.  One of the men began to reply but Apache was close enough to strike.  He pulled the pistol from behind his back and sent two shots at the first man.  Both bullets hit him in his mouth and exited right out of the back of his head.  While the second man was struggling to grab his gun Apach emptied the rest of the clip into his abdomen.  He fell to his knees with blood spewing from him mouth.  Apache got to Calimero and helped him to his feet.  Calimero had a real rough time trying to walk because of the injuries he had endured during the crash.  Apache helped him walk, heading towards the front door.

When the got to the front door they realized another car pulling up.  Apache carries Calimero back into the building and looked back out to see who was here.  All of a sudden Robert Paulson got out of the passenger seat of the new car.  Robert noticed the dead men outside and grabbed his Thompson machine gun out of the car.  Now he was heading right towards the building.

”Fuck man! Roberts here!  We have to find a back door and get the hell out of here!”
