You walk into an auditorium that was meant for Jazz players and other muzicians when you notice a small gethering of intellectuals sitting together in seats.They are all waiting for the show to begin. At least thats what you thought. A man comes out in a white tuxedo and smiles. Having his waitresses giving everyone there choice drinks the man introduces himself and begins to speak.

Ladies and Gentelmen i welcome you to DETROITS DEBATES. Here you can pick and choose what debates you would like to enter into you can even win cash if you prove to be a skilled speaker or if your debate is so impressive people all over join in on it(This is not saying you will win cash this is just saying it is more than possible). Ladies and gentleman do not be shy this is open to All of you as a whole and as individuals. There are a few guidlines i would like to speak on and i will actually pass out a paper so you can all read them yourselves. Please follow along. If you have anyquestions i will be glad to answer them. What i am about to read is the ten commandments of DEBATES IN DETROIT.

SINGERROURKE begins to read aloud the rules and looks around as people look a bit nervous.

                             RULES ABOUT DEBATES IN DETROIT

1.There will be no swearing. If you are caught swearing you are banned from the Debate center.

2.If your arguement is not well thought out you will be asked to resign and try again another day.

 3.If The debate gets old then SINGERROURKE will end it. If no one person wishes to responded to the debate within a week the opponent wins.(possible cash prize)

4Debates are always Public unless they are granted to be Private. (Which no one is allowed to join in the debate yet they are allowed to watch.)

5.If you are loosing the debate do not let your pride keep you in, you will look like a fool, admit you lost and respect the opponent.

6.You can ask SINGERROURKE for help on what kind of debates there should be or create them yourself.

7.If SINGERROURKE believes someone to have honestly won a debate he will pay them cash money.

8.If A man dies before the debate is finished, and no other person is in the debate, SINGERROURKE or another man will join in to debate.

9.Debates do not have to be one man against one man. They can be a hundred against one.

10. If Certain Debates are really well done and people are getting involved the men who started the debate will be awarded.

SINGERROURKE allows you to keep your paper and puts extras in the back room for more people. He walks up to the stage and sets up to podiums. He looks out and smiles. All the seated individuals stare at him.

I know it might take a while for some of you to get up here but dont worry when a debate is finished i will erase what has been said up here, and by erasing it i mean change the subject so no one remembers what has been said. It keeps it better that way so we can stay organized. I would like to just have one debate at a time. We will see how that goes. Lets see what happens.

SINGERROURKE waits and nothing he decides to start the very first debate. Knowing that anyone can come out here and Take a position or side on the debate.

So I will start the first Debate. Anyone can jump in. So this debate will be about should anyone under Mademan be able to have a gun?

SINGERROURKE stands and thinks for a moment this debate can really go either way. He decides to take one of those ways.

No. A made man should not be able to have a gun. I say because a gun is dangerous to our community our way of life. A gun shows that they can shoot anyone just look at what happened to my friend Inevitble. I think that the best way to go on this is not allow people to have Guns until they fully show they are Loyal and committed to the family. If anyone wishes to take the side i will be most pleased and ready to fire back.

Redis frowns at the man, removing his hat as he stands up.

Eh? Ye said, "No. A made man should not be able to have a gun." Am I right?


That ain't good for business, see. Ye don't even trust your Made guys with a gun, why'd give 'em a suit in the first place? Come on now, even I gotta gun. Why? In case I gotta use it. Any two-bit punk can get one now a days. What they do with it, is up to 'em. Can't do much to stop it.

Toby steps up and begins to speak.

If you can't trust the younger members of your family with a gun, then they should not be apart of your family. Now it is true that some people join families with bad intentions, and plan to do evil. We cannot judge everyone by one man's bad decision. All members of a family should be given a gun, unless that person has proved to be uncapable of using a gun.

SINGERROURKE smiles at Redis and Toby.

Redis i shall address you first if you do not mind. I said anyone under the rank of Made Man should have a gun. There are many two bit thugs running around with guns and a lot of them dont deserve it while many do. The problem is that some of them have grudges they wish to carry on from the past lives of their fathers. A crewleader can strip any one in there crew of a gun and award it to them as a showing of that they have earned their weapon, not just grabbed one.

SINGERROURKE then turns his attention to Toby.

Toby its not just that you cant trust the members of your family with a gun. Its that someone who is not fully in the family should not be able to jepordize it in anyway. Secondly a wiseguy, earner, gangster whatever you want to call them, their main job is to make money for the family and prove loyalty. I would say that no all members must prove themselves worthy of carrying a gun. A wise guy in one family shoots another member in another family they both die eventually, the family is left in a load of debt because of a simple mistake. You should be the one to prove to your Crew leader that you can carry a gun.

What good is a Made Man who has never held a gun before? When you reach the rank of Made Man you are fully expected to be putting your life on the line and protecting your family. If you have never held a gun before how can you protect yourself, let alone your family? I believe that to be a Made Man you must at least be able to kill a bum here and there. In the end what good is a made man who's gun explodes on the first shot?

This is true. If a man who is brought In to the family can not protect them why should he be there?

SINGERROURKE stands and thinks for a moment.

Well there is always a shooting range. If i am correct and you go to a shooting range and get that all nice and all maxed out then when you get your button would you not be able to protect your family? A shooting range training still counts for training your gun. You can do that and still get experience on your very own Gun.

Shooting in a range can only get you so far. In order to fully protect your family you should not only be frequenting a shooting range, but you should also practice on a real target. Killing a real person is a whole new ball park. Anyone can shoot in a range, but it takes a cold blooded person to gun down someone in the streets.

SINGER you're correct that range can train your gun, but it takes 6hours every range . this will affect the number of drug run in a day. while if the Associate with gun can train their gun 5-6 times a day and do drug run at the same time. Would you rather wait for your member to get Made before they train their gun? what will happen if war came out of nowhere? what will the associate do? pro shot? And just for information if a man want to get his button he must been involved in a murder.

(OCC sorry if there's a mispelling and grammar cause English is not first language, I hope you get the point)

Ah it looks as though i have been defeated. I have words of only foolishness to defend me now. I surrender to Alfie and Toby who are the winners of this fine debate. I honestly thought i had it one for a little while. If no one responds against you in the next day or two i will award you both a cash prize for participating in the Debates in DETROIT.

SINGERROURKE shakes the hands of both alfie and Toby and looks around waiting to see if anyone can ressurrect his defeat.

SINGERROURKE stood in front of the crowd once more. It was about that time where he started a new debate. He made a payment to Toby for winning the last debate. Now He was on to his next one.

It seems many a people walk around here screaming at others keep your hands to yourself, or pickpocket me and ill kill you or things of that nature. Some seem to be so offended about this that they take it to the level of killing another person. Let me take a stance on it and i invite all oppisition.

SINGERROURKE takes a sip of his water. Preparing to talk once more.

DEBATE NUMBER TWO, PICKPOCKETING. The most anyone can take from someone is five grand. Is there anything wrong with doing this? Why do so many mafioso get mad about someone pickpocketing someone else? I would like to say pickpockting should happen constantly a nation wide rule. would anyone not like to be pickpocketd? If so can i ask why? Its just five grand right?

Grape walks in the front door just in time to notice "Anonymous" escorting a man outside. Grape looks around and doesn't get the feeling that this is a welcoming place. He slowly makes his way back to the front door. As he reaches the handle he starts into a run down the street.

Thank god I got out of their alive.

SINGERROURKE sees a new face walk in and right back out. He wasnt going to allow the purple thing to get away. He begins to run after him and grabs him on the arm.

Hey friend we were just having some debates in here one in particular if you are interested is pickpocketing. So come on back in.

SINGERROURKE brought GrapeJam back to the center floor of the stage and handed him the microphone.

Grape reluctantly takes the microphone. He takes a deep breathe and looks around the room before he speaks.

For me, personally, the money isn't the issue. I have absolutely no problem giving to charity in the form of a pickpocket here or there. Its all about the idea of not knowing who I'm giving this money to. If this person gets away with my cash then later on informs me that they did it, I will cheer for them. Its the guys/girls who take my money and I have no idea where it went or who got it. Its a shot to the pride for me. All about my own pride. With that said, I'm neither opposed nor in favor of pickpocketing.

SINGERROURKE stands at almost a complete loss for words. How can he defend his arguement against someone elses feelings? He cant. He knew this was the beginning of the end of this debate for him. SINGERROURKE began to open his mouth when someone came up and handed him a piece of paper. it was an anonymous letter written to SINGERROURKE intended to be in the debate. SINGERROURKE read the letter aloud.

It is my opinion, Pickpocket is a serious matter. Its not the money that important, but its the disrespect. In the old days, some will be sleeping with the fishes when they Pickpocket the wrong guy.
and my I just add, putting PP friendly tattoo is weird for me. you're giving permission someone to steal your money? that's the real question.

SINGERROURKE stood in a halt again. A loss of words again. But then the light shines on him. He pushes forward on the attack.

With your own opinions aside should it be allowed or not? I mean it is going on. I completely see the disrespect factor playing in but even if you allow someone to take cash from you couldnt that be a good thing? Their hands would be full of cash they wouldnt be able to fire a pistol within an hour i would imagine. What about the benefit of them neutralizing there Hitting abilities if you will?

If they were to add something into PP that would neutralize someone else's hitting abilities. I believe that PPing will become even more frowned at then it is now. In my opinion if someone PPed me and stole my gun I would not be happy with that person at all. As it stands now PPing is more of a fun thing to do between friends, if you add something that takes someone else's gun then it will be seen as an attack by almost everyone.

SINGERROURKES mind drifts off for a moment. He imagines what it would be like to steal the DEANS gun. Noone would be able to stop him then. He awakes from his day dream and contimplates a little harder.

Well because we do not pickpocket each others guns rather money, we nullify are shooting abilities for an hour. With that it is a very strategic thing in case you were racing for a MIA or a war broke out within the hour i mean i would say, go ahead and pickpocket me because that greed can get you killed in the long run.

Wars usually aren't won in an hour, and no hitter is going to PP if there is any notice of a war coming. Even if they didn't know one was coming, your point is that it uses up our wack time. The same thing could be said about IA racing. People are always racing for IAs and people are always PPing, people not beingl able to fire, in my opinion, is not a good enough reason to let pickpocket.

Toby had stood firm in his choice in this particular debate. It was of no point for SINGERROURKE to continue on. He had obviously lost this one again to sir Toby.

Toby because i have lost yet another one i now ask you to pick a topic. Take a side and I will do so much better in it I promise you.

Next time i get into a debate i will choose you as a partner, you and that anonymous letter man.
