I went walking down the street one fine day and I couldn't get this woman out of my mind. Her name was Killer Jane and we had known each other for several years. Every time we stopped talking in the headquarters I felt crushed inside. So I knew that there was only one thing to do. Ask her to marry. So I set off into the streets of Saint Louis in search of this perfect female. I checked everywhere but I could not find her. I managed to bump into my sponsor Utopia and he was strolling down the streets humming to himself loudly, not a care in the world. I stopped him to ask if he knew where Killer Jane was.

"Afternoon Utopia sir was wondering if you've seen Killer Jane lurking around anywhere? Need to ask her something important you see."

As I waited for Utopia's response I couldn't help but notice that he looked at me very sneakily as if he knew of my plans to make an honest women out of Killer Jane. He pointed furthur on down the street and smiled craftily.

"I believe she is down that way mate, talking with Cherokee. Good luck my friend."

He walked at me, resumed his humming and set off down the street in the opposite direction he came from. I smiled and felt my stomache lurching as if it was trying to make me throw up. As I carried on my search for Killer Jane I was wondering what her reaction was going to be once I asked her to marry me. But there was definately no good thinking about that just now as I was now standing right infront of Cherokee and Killer Jane. I took a deep intake of breathe.

"Hello Cherokee, would you mind if I asked Killer Jane a quick question sir?"

He nodded his head and hung back for a moment. Killer Jane was now watching me intensely. I met her gaze and dropped down onto one knee and I held up a velvety red box which contained a massive diamond ring inside. I popped the question.

"Killer Jane, will you marry me?"

I froze there on one knee holding up the box and ring and I waited in anxious anticipation for Killer Jane's answer. Yes or no!

The look of surprise on my face was obvious as I looked down at Danny on one knee, a huge ring looking back up at me.  I could see the nervous but excited look on his face as he awaited my answer.  My hands flying up to my face, I hid a huge grin and made him wait for a minute before finally bringing them down and showing him the smile on my face.

Yes! Yes I will!

The look on Danny's face makes me giggle a little bit, so relieved and happy. I help him stand and slip the ring on my finger, kissing him passionately, so blissfully happy and envisioning our happy future together.

As I slipped the ring on Killer Jane's finger and kissed her passionately I turned to Cherokee and starts punching the air.

"Yes! Get in there my son! Yes!"

I turned back to Killer Jane and smiled. I was so happy.

Most Mafioso make a point of not getting emotionally attached because it only puts their partner in danger with the Mafioso's rivals/enemies. Leverage is a powerful thing.

However, I'm pleased you two have decided to break that mould and I hope things go well for you both. Enjoy yourselves!

"Thanks everyone for you're kind words. I still have one question though. Who is going to throw me a stag night!"

I chuckled to myself.
