I smirked, my eyes glued to the five men tied up by ropes, sitting in the middle of the empty, rather grimy warehouse. |

I looked at the men who were tied up. Those silly bastards. Who did they think they were, that they could just walk up into the area that us, as a group, reserved. I was beyond furious. I didn't know that, of course. At all times was I to be cool, calm and collected. NiceJorgen wasn't aware of my plan yet, but after we leech information off them, we will kill them all one by one. It'll be disastrous, but so worth it. I haven't had my usual injection of heroin in a while- and I needed something to make me feel alive. This was it. I couldn't wait any longer, as I aggressively spat at the men who were pretending to look unfazed by this dangerous predicament. I'd show them. My mouth called them every name under the sun, their faces now looking wretched and conflicted all at the same time. "Shut the FUCK up. So who is the boss here? Either we can kill one of you or if none of you will speak up, then it's graveyard time for all of you boys." I hissed, my mind aggravated with the thought of leaving the warehouse with nothing at all. I at least wanted blood on my hands. Sounds brutal, but it was nearing the end of the week, and I wanted to finish it off with a bang. Literally. I noticed one of the men reached around him, and my eyes squinted to see it clearer. A knife! My body tensed as I raised my gun in the air, before firing it once. Then another blow to the ceiling. The man I was eyeing quickly looked up, and his face went scarlet as realization dawned on his poor, miserable face. He seemed to be out of touch with what was happening, and I was going to remind him. As I made my way over to him, Vela suddenly appeared from her corner. The shadows embracing her luscious, wavy hair. She raised an eyebrow, arms crossed in a sassy way. "Put that gun down." She shook her head, pulling up her sleeves. Vela bent down in front of the suspicious man, and pouted in a curious manner. "Hm, now what would you like more? A beating to the head by a bat? Or your teeth being pulled out one by one?" Holy mother of cheeseballs. |

The night was cold. Bitterly cold, but I was unbothered. I sat in her corner of the warehouse, inspecting the loose skin around my fingernails, peeling it off bit by bit. I was extremely fed up with how my day was going so far, though no one bothered to ask. Not that I cared. I liked being in my own world sometimes. The sudden, ringing sound of bells outside made me look up intensely, and my eyes travelled out the window beside me, hoping to see something that might put me out of my boredom. A sigh escaped my lips as I realized it was just an icecream truck passing by. This late at night? I shook my head, weirded out by the circumstance. As I started to daydream about flavours of icecream and herbal tea, someone seemed to have other ideas. TwoB, in all her glory, towered over the group of men that we all helped capture. They were in big trouble I suppose, but hey I didn't want no partaking in their killing spree. I was just here to pick up the money, which would've been successful if these fucking lunatics of a criminal didn't bombard our area. It was rule to not trespass on property, especially if it was said that it would be robbed. What was yours, was yours, so since they came in our way- I guess NiceJorgen didn't take a liking to that. Obviously. Eh, he had something up his ass. I had no clue. But the gun in her hands distracted me from my 'hangry' (hungry-moody, is that a word?) thoughts, and approached the circle. I closed in on them, making sure I made my presence clear through a dramatic opening line. Their response was nothing short of a scowl. "As if you could do anything, little girl." Now, I was going to retaliate through verbal speech, but my fist thought otherwise. I could almost feel the bridge of his nose crack, which made me feel a teeny tiny bit bad... |

I could hear the sound of a few bones in his nose cracking as it filtered throughout the disgustingly rotten warehouse. |

The hour hand on the clock made it to twelve. Finally. Well, this was my cue. I sped along the dirt track, my eyes glancing from corner to the next. The warehouse was only a few minutes away, and I was desperate to get there before anyone else did. Word on the street was that there was more than a couple million bucks in mint condition lying around in that property. If anyone got there before me, I know I'd probably have to shoot a couple of heads. It had been a minute since I last picked up a score like this. I ran for dear life, and held onto a string of hope. It wasn't long before I arrived, but my eyes squinted to see light coming out of the windows. There were three figures in the distance and it was hard to make out their faces because of the cloud of darkness that surrounded the area. I held my breath, cursing myself for even coming here in the first place. I was certain that no one would be coming here, especially around this time, so who were they? My mind flashed with inquisitive thoughts. There was no use watching them take my golden treasure, so I treaded carefully towards the back entrance of the warehouse. With a few lock picking techniques, I safely opened the door. My eyes landed on a floor, that probably hasn't been cleaned in years, and walls that looked like someone shat all over them. My breath hitched, when I felt a shiver run down my spine. I shook my head, trying to get myself to focus. I just needed to see who those people were. If a fight were to break out, I hoped I would be fine. This machine gun was enough to kill a room of ten people. Well, death can't be always guaranteed... |

I was beginning to feel groggily tired, but I really only had myself to blame. The past few nights had been borderline hell. Running from district to district, and picking up packages to be dropped off by clients demanding of their sacred, life-threatening drugs. I thought I needed a snort of cocaine myself. My mind wandered off to what was on my agenda tomorrow, but there was no use for that. I needed to focus on what was happening right now, and that was MADNESS. A loud burst throughout the air making me jump. I used both of my hands to shield my face as an air of smoke shot through the warehouse. "Fuck, it's an explosive. Everybody duck!" I cried out. Everyone started coughing, and the men tied up were struggling to break free. A door was being pushed open, and a man who seemed to be cuter than the average, startled everyone. I was just as confused as Vela, whose mouth was open wide. The pair seemed to know each other from somewhere, and I backed away, hoping someone will break the silence and provide some clarity. Vela's voice resounded in the thick air of tension. "Castielle what the fuck are you doing here?" She broke out in a furious manner, as her bloody fists came into view. NiceJorgen sat quietly on the side, looking at me and shrugging his shoulders in bewilderment. Shouts of anger were being bellowed by the men. "Set us free you fucking freaks!" They chastised, trying to help each other out with the ropes that gripped around their limp wrists. The man who had just gotten his nose punched in started to make a proposition. "Fuck. Alright." He spat blood from his mouth, and landed on NiceJorgen's shoe. Not realizing it was an accident, NiceJorgen rose from his position and lashed out at him. "YOU PIECE OF SHIT MONGREL." I looked at Vela, then Castielle, then Vela, then back to Castielle. I mouthed the words 'what the fuck.' |

The set of footsteps I heard, much to surprise, belonged to a good friend of mine. I had so many questions. How did he find out about this place? The group, which consisted of NiceJorgen, TwoB and I, should have been the only sign of civilisation here. This night had just gone bonkers, as I scrambled with my words. "W-w-what.. is happening.. right now." I stammered, raising my arm and using a hand to rub the side of my face. The tiredness of the late night was starting to catch up, and I turned to NiceJorgen. "You're the coordinator of this whole plan. What are we going to do now?" I asked, trying to imply that there was no point in this whole thing anymore. It was all just one big mess. How could have the news spread of a couple million dollars sitting in an abandoned warehouse gotten to 3 different parties, and the fact that we all came at a similar time. I dropped my hands to my sides hopelessly and let out a long sigh, which seemed to go for ages until I received a shrugging response from Castielle. "What are YOU doing here?" He replied in confusion. Suddenly angered, I shook my head and snatched the gun that TwoB was holding on to. I pointed it directly in the direction of the five men who were all sitting in the centre, as if they were patiently waiting to be buried in their death beds. As my eyes were trained on them, I let my inner wolf take over. Vela closed her eyes, firing a shot and the bullet landing in the middle of one of the men's eyes. A cry echoed within the walls of the warehouse. The man collapsed onto the ground, and because he was tied by ropes with the other men, they all came down with him. More groans broke the silence.I noticed NiceJorgen holding a pistol, making TwoB scowl. "Jorgen... I'll tell boss on you." She warned, her jaw twitching. He didn't seem to pay her any mind, as the corners of his mouth quirked up, letting out a spit of a saliva again. Jorgen raised his head slowly, his smile sending TwoB into a crazy fit. "Do that, and I'll tell boss that you're too afraid to fire your gun! Ha! Funny excuse for a hitter!" He teased, before turning his body away from her. "One down, four to go!" |

I was suddenly immune to TwoB's threats, and wanted nothing more than to fire a bullet straight into one of the men's heads. |

The crime rate in Detroit seemed to increase by a few percentages as I watched the heads of three men get fired at. I whispered my concern to Vela as I neared her. "Is your friend okay?" I fretted, using all my willpower to not tackle him to the ground right then and there. I think I've always hated people who don't think before they act, it drives me insane knowing someone could get hurt with their mindless behaviour. Maybe tonight was an exception? I thought to myself. I tried shouting to NiceJorgen's direction, but he seemed to ignore my calls of worry. It wasn't until that one of the last two men kneeling before him spoke up. His words lingered in the air, which seemed to travel all the way to his heart because he let him free. I was as shocked as Vela. The fury in his veins seemed to stop at nothing moments before, but something clicked in his mind. Maybe he felt sentimental about the whole thing, or guilty that he was killing someone's beloved uncle. As I watched the scene play out, I slumped my shoulders as I felt bummed out about not getting the money, but half of me was happy for those two men who were set free. It felt liberating almost, even though I wasn't actually the one telling him to escape the night he had so bravely entered. With a guarded heart, I let myself slip from the warehouse's interior and headed back home. I invited Vela to come home with me, to which I was responded with a nod. It was safe to say that we were all tired. |

It all happened so quick. Not too long, five men were bound by ropes as worried expressions made their way on their faces. Now, three were dead and two had escaped, permission granted by the killer of course. I was still frozen on the spot until Vela shook my elbow gently. I snapped back to reality and gathered my thoughts, before letting out a quiet yawn. It gained a silent giggle from Vela, and I rolled my eyes playfully. As Castielle invited her for a ride home, I moved closer to Vela and whispered the thought I had been having in my mind since the moment he got here. "Your friend is kinda cute." I pursed my lips, shrugging shamelessly and holding onto the heavy, machine gun that I had acquired last week. This thing was built like bricks and was amazed how I could somehow manage the weight. In response to my ludicrous statement, Vela threw her head back and chuckled louder, earning a confused look from Castielle. My cheeks flushed as I hung my head in embarassment. I eyed Vela suspiciously and cocked my head. "What was that for. Okay fine maybe you can tell him I said that..." The night had been reckless, but I didn't even go to sleep in an angry mood- only because of that man I saw. He seemed like he was holding a lot of built up emotions that had been gathered over time, but it was none of my business. My heart sunk as I realized he hadn't even looked or said a word to me when we were at the warehouse. As I waved goodbye to the group, my right eye on Castielle like a creep, I shared a brief moment of joy in my head. Though it was unfortunate for me to witness three deaths in one night, I couldn't help but feel better about my connections with the friends I had. NiceJorgen, with his violent tactics and SOMETIMES rude gestures balanced with Vela's calm but somehow intimidating nature. I guess I was the piggy in the middle. As for Castielle? I have yet to find out. |

As my inner wolf gnawed at itself back into its normal state, the moon of the night rised higher into the night sky. I tried hard to stifle my blushed face and faint giggles as I remembered what TwoB had told me. It made me all funny inside. I couldn't help but wonder if they would ever get to know each other more on a deeper level, but I would save that thought for another day. My tiny self expressed salutations to the group, and especially told NiceJorgen to get a good night's sleep. He was all riled up from his brutal actions, and I think everyone could agree that we all entered a sticky situation, and though it could never be promised that this kind of thing wouldn't happen again, we left the warehouse with a little dance to our step. Sure, we never got the money, but what we DID earn was each other's company and trust. I know Jorgen and TwoB hadn't warmed up to Castielle yet, but time will tell. Maybe I should invite all three of them to my house for a nice dinner, compensation for the losses? I expelled a heavy sigh as the trip with Castielle was cut short. My house was suddenly in view, and I raised my eyebrows in surprise that we were already here. It seems that I was lost in my own thoughts, and quickly apologised for zoning out on him multiple times. He didn't seem to mind. Maybe that's because he was in his own world too. "You'd get along well with TwoB, just thought I should say that. I mean, I'm not trying to play cupid here but you guys would make such a cute couple. But I shouldn't speak for the both of you, I'll let you guys decide your own fate. Night, you." I smiled sheepishly. ~
