Declaration of War Started by: Lixyl on Aug 11, '18 08:18
Many days, weeks, months and years have passed now since the earliest families were established in this thing of ours.

~

How long has it been since the last war? I don't know.

~

But what I do know is that each of the cities' power has skyrocketed.

Within the cities that we live in, I'm sure you have witnessed those prominent people, those that I don't need to name, who have taken the righteous throne of Godfather.

Now I have emerged from the bunkers after the last war to announce a new world, a World of Chaos. The leaders around us have promised to rebuild and move forward, but I tell you now, I believe there is always that one person who wants to make sure that everyone else goes down except for them and their city.

Little do you know, the many relationships that are being established and the loyal connections being made are not doing anything to build 'One Family'. If anything, it is creating more tension in the air and I don't see how no one else recognises the two-faced individuals that walk these streets.

This is just a gentle reminder that just because it is peaceful now, doesn't mean there is someone waiting to attack.

Go.

Build your nation of intellectuals and advanced weaponry, forged in blood, sweat and dedication. There is peace now, but now there is a war waiting to be declared. So everyone, prepare yourselves while you all come together with the people in your city and form friendships and treaties.

You think you are surrounded by the supposed protectors of humanity, but watch them one day release a pulse that will disable all progress being made. There is a particular city I am thinking of when I say 'they' will fall into war soon. And I will not be surprised when people from other cities will also rise up and reclaim their homelands.

Philadelphia is on the verge of the same fate.

Needless to say, Las Vegas has gone into near-full isolation, and its guiding hands will not help in this time of chaos.

The other opportunistic powers see this as a time of change.

The thriving city of Chicago, the silent yet strong winds of Detroit, the city of angels, Sin City, New York, Philly and Seattle all could use this time to strike at each other and claim glory. But for some reason you're all too comfortable with the state of the world. Too lazy to start change. Too unbothered to start chaos.

This is why rogues pop up. They emerge as rebels as the world we live in loses its touch.

War doesn't go away. It only gets worse.

~

Now, a great deal of time has passed, and things are changing again. Will someone fall to the mistakes of their ancestors?

Can the city of Chicago survive another day?

Can the city the city of Detroit survive another month?

Will the city of Las Vegas be conquered once again? (oops)

Will the city of Los Angeles live to see another week?

Can the city of New York survive another hour?

Will someone from Philadelphia finally break the peace?

Does Seattle have enough power to rise from another potential war?

Morning, Lixyl.

It seems that you have more understanding of this world than first letting on when approaching my Caporegime. It is my understanding based on his report that you are naive as to how we work.

I can appreciate a good discussion, however I'm struggling to find anything other than inflammatory material in your approach. There have been several attempts to stoke the fires of paranoia and fear in recent months, if that is what this is, I have no reason to believe why it will succeed. Philadelphia is but a small moving part in a much larger attempt to structure the world towards growth, not power grabbing.

Take our operation, or city for that matter, as an example. What need do we have to grab power? I can operate to my full potential with very motivated individuals supporting the roll out of all the initiatives I've ever considered bringing to life. There is nothing more I could ask for from this current climate.

I'd like to know if you have motivation to engage this world as one of those moving parts, as you've so far failed to engage me on a private platform. Unfortunately the assumptions left to make will be that you're here to stir the pot, but the pot isn't bubbling.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Three times in the head and the deed was done. Eddie had pulled the trigger that ended this young souls life. It wasn’t something he had wanted to do but after his actions, what other choice did he have?

Eddie found himself standing over the dead body of Lixyl, blood running from the back of his head. Words can sometimes be as powerful as actions, and in this case words took a life.

“We don’t handle business this way in Philly. This is not who we are. The Pier is in the money making business, a professional outfit. There are rules and a certain standard to be adhered to.”

”I hope your next of kin thinks with a clear head before taking to the streets in such a manner.”
