"Your mother is dead." Kizira sat there blinking in the oversized chair at her boarding school. It seemed so surreal to her considering she had just received a letter from her mother just that morning. The day had started just like any other in the school. Kizira had taken care to get herself ready for her morning classes before the post had been laid on the table in the dormitory. Usually Kiz didn't check the table because the letters were so few from home but this morning she had felt the urge to check. Sure enough there was an envelope with her name on it. Her mother had enclosed all the details from home. The way her dad was closing business deals. her brother's hard time in public school and how proud her mother was that she was graduating this year. Everything had seemed so normal and care free. Her mother had worked in a line of work that she refused to discuss. Knowing only that the work was dangerous had made it seem almost romantic to Kizira, who was struggling to keep her mind on her mundane studies. Itching to get out of the stuffy office, Kizira turned on her heel and walked back out the doors. The shake of her head was the only indication that she had even heard the news. As she left the main office she heard the secretary mutter under her breath. "Oh, you poor girl." Those words had stuck with Kizira even a year later after they were spoken. A year later... "Oh, you poor girl. You haven't the slightest clue whom you have pissed off today, do you?" Kizira's words dripped with a malice that she couldn't hide. The young woman before her had been so brave and so full of her self indulgence it had caused the other woman to laugh out loud. As they stood toe to toe, eyeing each other up and determining the best way to deal with the current situation, Kizira took a small step back. To anyone watching they might have seen it as an act of submission or acknowledgement that the other woman was more frightening. To anyone that truly knew the young woman they knew she was preparing herself and it wasn't long before her back bone began to show back up. A twinkle to her eyes as she suddenly struck out and hit the woman square in the nose. Having always been taught to defend herself, Kiz took to defense as an adventure to learn many different techniques that would keep herself safe. In the long run she always preferred to be straight to the point with no fucking around. She was a no nonsense type of woman and everyone around her knew it. Now Kizira was standing before a woman who had done nothing but rip people down while she stood on her pristine white pedestal. Kizira had enough of the bullshit and had called the woman out on it multiple times. "Perhaps you have had enough now?" Kizira asked. The other woman shook her head and started to get back up. Kizira stepped back once more and switched her stance. This time she took aim for the eye and she hit. A solid THUNK! could be heard all around. Suddenly the other woman was down and didn't look to be coming back up. It was not surprising that she had stood against Kiz. Some people were just so delusional by their actions that they had to see it through. As she slumped on the ground Kizira grabbed her hair and dragged her over to a pipe and handcuffed her hands together. "I suppose I will have to leave you for the rats this time I have a date to prepare for." Brushing her hair back from her face, Kizira opened the cages of rats that had been littering the sewer. Shaking her head as she watched the rats head towards the scent of blood. The malicious twinkle was back in her eyes. It was no secret Kizira loved to torture and torment. Tonight was one of the sadder nights that she would not get to see the aftermath of all her efforts. Plans were plans though and she couldn't go back on her word. However, she'd need to hurry to the hotel to get dressed in time. With one last look behind her, Kizira made her way out of the sewer tunnels. |

Grimm, ever seemingly keeping his eyes open for those around him, was out walking on the busy streets. As but a new member to his family, he found himself constantly running errands in hopes of trying to prove his worth. He had made some valuable friends and connections, but being the adrenaline junkie he was.. well you could say he always kept his eye open for opportunities. Brown eyes filtered through the hustling and bustling of the town, a satchel on his person containing the documents he was asked to deliver. Grimm was known to be a rather pretty man, his facial features rather delicate giving him a rather feminine appearance. An appearance he dared to use to his own advantage. On multiple occasions through-out his life he was mistaken for a flat-chested girl, up until they heard his voice that is. He could try to make his voice as sweet as wished, yet it could never mask the masculine deepness of it. |

Having brushed her hair back into a ponytail for her work earlier she started to tug what held it back out of her hair. This allowed her hair to drop around her shoulders and hide any possible blood stains around there. She was careful as she left the sewers to leave the farthest away from where the woman was enjoying her time with the rats. Surveying the area around her she began to walk but it didn't take long to notice that someone else was following her. Stopping abruptly she turned on her heels and folded her arms in front of her. It took a moment to realize that it was a young man with an unnaturally delicate face. At first glance she could almost mistake them for a girl but instead shook her head. Kiz knew better and she waited for him to catch up as her toes tapped off the pavement. "Why are you following me? Who are you?" |
