Sense of Direction Started by: LuciousLyon on Aug 17, '18 01:53

Lucious had been planning to raid this depot for quite some time but needed to get some things in order and nonetheless needed someone to help him out which seems like the routine nowadays. He was bringing in Marta and she said to him before that she might need a little bit of a push in the right direction to kind of get used to it all, makes you wonder if she actually did anything dirty in her life but judging from what he already knows that's probably a no. Not like he was expecting to be considered the best mentor or whatever it was, just that maybe Lucious can teach her to do more.

The plan wasn't as simple as charge through the front gates into the depot. There were gonna be armed guards to prevent robberies but that just really puts a band-aid on a long-term possibility. Eventually it'd need to be taken off, Lucious had an inside connection to get them inside and then some which would come in handy to let the two know what they're dealing with, of course this was gonna all be relayed with Marta. Lucious was just making up scenarios in his head at that point of what could happen and what may not happen.

It was probably just the paranoia but no point in backing down now. Anyone in their right mind would be nervous, anyone who didn't, well they'd probably have done it for a while and it just ends up being the same repetitive grind with a little twist at the end, Lyon's apartment is where they would plan all of this out; nonetheless when they arrived, Lucious skipped ahead to go ahead and grab the documents on the depot they'd be hitting and some information on his inside man, as long as everything goes right and they don't get spotted then the job was gonna go smooth. There was never a guarantee, though.

Lucious had finally dug up the papers and had a folder under his right arm, he laid them out on the table in his living room while Marta helped herself to sit down. He opened the folder and it was basically a drawn-up blueprint of what they're looking at, on a separate piece of paper lays out who'd be helping them inside, everything else was gonna be explained. This is only hoping that something doesn't go wrong when they go out to raid the place and probably end up in a shootout with the police or with the guards in the depot alone.

But like Marta stated before, she was gonna be new to this and it was up to Lucious to guide her. Whether it'd be a life of crime or just teaching her the fundamental steps, he was up to the task.

Report Post Tip

Marta followed Lucious into his apartment, it was somewhere she had never been before but she acted like it was no big deal. Well in fact it wasn't that big of a deal, at this point it was just a place to go over some of the details. She followed through the place giving it a quick look over, it was definitely a nice space and very well maintained but this wasn't much of a surprise. He seemed like a man that was very proud of his self image and it showed with his apartment even more so.

He ushered her to the table then went off for a moment before coming back with a folder which he had tucked under his right arm and a few loose papers. He opened the folder and tossed it in front of her, it was quite the perfect toss as it landed within reaching distance of her. The papers spread out in perfect order directly in front of her.

She shuffled through the papers until finding the one with the actual blueprints of the place, it was a lot bigger then she thought it would have been. She was more expecting a small little place considering it was only the two of them but then again what did she know. Perhaps the bigger the place the easier it would be to sneak in and sneak out.

Shuffling through the remaining papers there was nothing in there that seemed to jump out at her. A couple of names, some numbers and she assumed other stuff but the fact she didn't know what she truly was looking at, hopefully he would explain some of it to her to bring her up to speed on it all.

She was about to speak up but instead let out a yawn, which she quickly covered her mouth to cover it up. Lucious gave her a bit of a look before speaking.

"Marta! You need to wake your ass up, you can't be all tired while we are doing this. That's how things would go bad and in a hurry, will need your complete focus."

She yawned once more.

"I know, I know don't worry. I'll grab another coffee or two before we do this and I'll be fine. Don't worry, ok?"

She could tell he was still a bit unsure but had no reason to distrust her.

"Ok... We will make the coffee happen."

Marta smiled then glanced back down at the papers.

"So, what's all this about?"

Report Post Tip

"Let me get the coffee brewing then I'll go ahead and tell you all about it."

Lucious disappeared into the kitchen to get a couple cups of coffee brewing. He didn't wanna explain everything to her only to figure out she's fallen asleep halfway through the explanation, it was pretty crucial information as well and it was rude to fall asleep on someone trying to talk to them but then again he couldn't blame her. Barely getting any sleep and having to deal with the aftermath of drinking a lot of alcohol only to wake up in the morning knowing that she has a business to run yet has little to no staff able to run the place or assigning someone else to take the task of being the manager of the place.

At least it'd be more efficient than screwing yourself up for the next day even knowing you got a place to run at the end of the day, that and it doesn't really feel good, you're running on limited energy and without something to wake you up; well, you're shit out of luck. Lucious came back without the coffee since it had to brew and it'd take a bit, would probably better he explain to her before she actually did fall asleep.

Lucious decided it'd be better to stand next to her rather than sit down and explain it all from a different angle. Better without having the need to shuffle the papers back and forth because he forgot something, he started off with the blueprint that was sitting in front of them, can't go into a place you're gonna raid and not know the layout of course, not that everything can know it within a few minutes of explaining it.

Lucious started to move his finger around the blueprint and just explain what was there.

"Okay, so. This is the layout of the depot, you got the gate here which is the front entrance and then you have another gate to the side, leads into one of the warehouses so trucks that come in and out can offload and place them where it's needed. Not that we're hiding in the back of a truck or anything from what my guy told me they offload everything and we would've been spotted within five minutes of just getting the job done."

Lucious moved over to the piece of paper that had a name on it. This was the inside man.

"This is one of my contacts, Joey. Good kid which is why I didn't wanna pull him into too much of all this besides the part where he gets us in and then just leaves since we may or may not have to start some trouble, the gate that gains access to that warehouse is where he'll meet us and let us in, after that we won't be seeing him."

Lucious switched his view over to the paper that had a bunch of numbers on it.

"This is pretty much their finances. How much they got stored there form the guy that overlooks the depot, almost forgot that the guys who guard the place are gonna be armed, we will be too but I wanna avoid being detected and stick to knocking them unconscious or something instead of killing them outright unless we have no choice. But anyway, back to the finances, they make a good amount of money and it's stored in a safe in the manager's office."

Lucious cleared his throat.

"Know what, let me get that coffee now. Machine is probably done brewing."

He ran off into the kitchen to grab the cups of coffee and then came back to find Marta almost falling asleep. Good thing he got the cups when he did, Lucious placed a cup in front of her.

"Drink up. But yeah, we don't need to get this all done today if you're kind of lacking the energy, could always rest and we'll move it on tomorrow."

Report Post Tip

Marta gave him a listen as he was talking, it was a lot of information all at once but she tried to keep up with him. It was quite hard though as she caught herself a couple times just starring aimlessly at the papers in front of her. None of the numbers of the people made much sense to her but it was ok, he knew what was going on and he had things already kind of set up. Though she wasn't quite sure what he actually needed her for? Perhaps there were just too many guards in the place that the extra hand was to subdue them?

Lucious excused himself to kitchen for a moment, in which Marta decided to shut her eyes momentarily. It wasn't to catch a quick nap but more to try and focus on what was going on, though closing her eyes wasn't such a good thing. She was almost asleep, that was until Lucious came back.

"Drink up!"

The tone in his voice shook her awake.

"I wasn't sleeping, I was thinking..."

"We could always just do this tomorrow." Lucious stated.

"No no no, we can do this today. I'm fine I swear."

Marta took the coffee from his hands and took a sip, which was a bad idea since the coffee was just brewed and pipping hot. Immediately she burnt her tongue, she placed the cup back onto the table.

"Holy shit, that's hot." She stuck her tongue out to give it a feel. "Yup, things won't taste right for a couple days now. Dammit!"

Lucious couldn't help but laugh at her, it was a quick mood lighten upper. Marta just looked at him and shook her head then picked the mug back up, blowing on it a few times before taking a very small sip.

"Anyways, back to this trucking depot or whatever it is called. How much money is in that safe and where do I fit into all of this, I mean what do you actually need me to do?"

Report Post Tip

"As long as you're sure. I just hope you're not lying to me to keep me happy or something, especially if I'm the one offering."

Lucious finally took the time to sat down next to her. All that standing was getting to him and he needed to relax for a minute and fill his system with caffeine, he took a sip of the cup and to Marta's complaint; it was hot, so he put the cup down and let it cool off for a minute before he decides to take another sip. Though, Marta's reaction was nonetheless priceless, probably more of the fact that she stuck her tongue in the cup to get a quick taste.

Lucious had a laugh. Maybe lightening the mood was probably better for her sake.

"How much money is in that safe and where do I fit into all of this, I mean what do you actually need me to do?"

"I'd guess around two hundred thousand? Maybe a little bit more, who knows what we'll find. I'll split it with you, so we both leave this job happy. It'll be enough to get you a couple of good things, maybe even change your shop up a little if you wanted to, or just go out and buy clothes and shoes, whatever. I need you maybe to cause a distraction and or just be an extra gun, need someone to watch my back after all case shit goes south."

Lucious leaned forward.

"You ever used a gun before?"

Report Post Tip

She perked up a bit when she heard two hundred thousand. That was a nice little score and if it was as easy as he was claiming it would be, it would fill their pockets up nicely. She knew exactly what the money would go towards, she was currently in the works to open up an extension of her coffee shop from Chicago into Detroit. That money would go a long long way to making that a reality.

She back tracked the conversation in her head for a moment cause she wanted to reassure Lucious that she was indeed fine and would be fine.

"Seriously, I'll be ok. Please just trust me on this one, I've been more tired then this plenty of times and have still been able to properly function. Once this coffee kicks in I'm sure I'll feel like a million dollars."

Marta took another sip of her now cooled down enough coffee, then another right after that one before placing the mug back onto the table just above all the blueprints.

"I could definitely be a distraction, if it's one thing I know how to do it is to distract people. Well preferably men, woman are a bit harder to distract. With the guys all I have to do is put on a tighter shirt and do a bit of flirting, woman though... Well that's another story let's hope there are no ladies guarding the place, otherwise that might have to be you."

Lucious laughed then leaned in asking her if she ever used a gun before. Marta smiled and nodded before talking.

"Oh yeah I know how to use a gun, I used to do a lot of gun training with my father. I'm quite the marksman, though I will say this. I've never had to use one of somebody, I've pulled a gun on people before but have never actually pulled the trigger. Should I prep myself and get in the mindset that I may actually shoot or kill someone?"

Report Post Tip

With that amount of money, anyone would go crazy and it's almost like Lucious was expecting it because Marta perked up after he said the amount. A grin came over his face instantly as he decided to pick up his coffee that has been sitting on the table simply because he wanted ot let it cool down, he took a sip and lowered the cup back down on the table. No job is ever easy and if you want to assure yourself, just get someone you trust to come with you.

Lucious had to mention that he probably would need her to distract someone and she was more than up to the task considering it was being more deceptive than actually honest. As long as they get the cash at the end of the day, it didn't really matter much; the most important thing was being able to do what was necessary to accomplish a goal.

Lucious had a chuckle when it came that it would be his job to be deceitful to any girls working there, it was doubtful but he was more than ready to put on his A-game.

"Should I prep myself and get in the mindset that I may actually shoot or kill someone?"

"Well. It would help, because you know if we get caught it's either gonna be us or them and they probably will either shoot on sight or just go ahead and ask what we're doing here, wouldn't wanna risk much either way if we have to get into a firefight with them, place has a extensive security team."

Lucious ended up being curious.

"How do you prep yourself, though?"

Report Post Tip

"Well it's more just the mindset of doing it, you training the brain to realize that it is either them or us. It's more of a repetition type thing for me, I say it over and over again in my head to make sure it sticks in there. Just a little something that helps me out, not sure if it works for others but I know it works for me."

Marta downed the rest of the coffee in the mug then walked into the kitchen, fumbled around in there for a moment and came out with another full mug. Too which Lucious gave her a bit of a look, she wasn't sure if it was because she had just made herself at home and went about making the coffee herself or the fact she didn't come back with one for him.

She looked down into his mug which still had plenty of liquid still left in it, so it must have been her helping herself.

"What? I needed more."

She blew on the coffee before taking another sip then looked down at her watch.

"What time or matter of fact how long until we head out? Is there a set time schedule or is it just we show up and it's go time."

She was pretty sure there had to be some kind of time table, there were enough moving pieces that with a schedule things would go array and very quickly. From how Lucious was talking this wasn't an option, he wanted it to go as smooth as it possibly could.

"Well yeah we have a time window, why what time is it now?"

Marta was in the midst of another sip so instead of telling him the time she showed him the watch on her wrist. His eyes instantly opened up wide then quickly jumbled all the papers together putting them back in the folder.

"If we are going to do this today we need to leave here and very soon, otherwise we will have to wait until tomorrow." He gave Marta a look. "Hurry up and chug that coffee then go do yourself up a little bit. If you're going to distract those guards you're going to need to tame your hair a bit."

She glanced upwards but obviously couldn't see her hair, a mirror was needed for this task. She quickly finished the coffee then walked over to the mirror that was hanging in the hallway. Her was a disaster this whole time and no one told her? From the other room she yelled towards Lucious.

"Seriously, you've been with me this entire afternoon and didn't tell me I looked possessed? Would have been nice to hear a hey Marta, what's up with your hair or something like that. Now all those people in the coffee shop must think I'm crazy...."

"Marta I'm sure they all already knew." He said with a slight chuckle.

Marta decided not to comment on that anymore cause he was probably right, a few moment later she came back into dining room area where she had left Lucious.

"Better?"

Report Post Tip

Lucious shrugged.

"Guess you're right. That's how I've been trying to do it this whole time, the whole them versus us thing. Thought you did something different is all."

He watched as she downed the rest of the coffee instantly. Guess she was serious about needing all those cups of coffee, wouldn't hurt to actually get some decent nights sleep every now and then, practically drank it all in one go and then Lucious raised an eyebrow after she came back with another mug full of it, not really more the fact that if she knew how to work a coffee machine; after all she owned a coffee shop so it'd be shocking to him if Marta didn't know how to work it.

Lucious was just still left pretty surprised that she drank all that coffee in one go and instantly made another mug. He chuckled.

"What? I needed more."

Lucious put his hands up to admit surrender.

"I didn't say anything."

Lyon reached over to grab his cup of coffee and decided to chug it down in one go. He could use more of the caffeine in his system but couldn't bother going into the kitchen to make another cup. When he asked what time it was, it was getting pretty late and Joey was more or less gonna be expecting Lucious soon and they had a schedule to follow so he began to fumble all over the documents and get them sorted again, couldn't leave the place looking like a mess.

Of course Marta's hair made her look like Medusa. The short conversation they shared made Lucious chuckle, the looks he caught at the coffee shop earlier today made him grin, it was too good to even pass up. Lucious finished packing the documents back where he found them and looked over at Marta when she came back with her hair sorted out again.

"Better?"

Lucious nodded.

"A lot better. Now you don't look like Medusa, anyway we should probably go and get this show on the road if we wanna make some money."

Lucious checked his waistline for his gun then went for the door with the keys, he left the door opened and then stood out in the hallway to wait for Marta to follow suit.

Report Post Tip

Marta followed Lucious to the door but before she walked past him remembered she had left her bag at the table, she quick made a u-turn to go get it. Lucious wasn't so sure what she was actually doing for a moment he thought she was going back for some more coffee.

"Marta! Come on we have to go, I think two cups of coffee is enough. I'll get you more once we are done."

"I'm not getting coffee, I forgot my bag." She said loudly from the other room.

She made her way to the table but her bag wasn't there, she stood there puzzled for a moment trying to replay in her head when she first got to his apartment. That's when it hit her, she didn't place it on the table but on one of the chairs. She took a step back to take a look and there it was, exactly where she had left it. She quick grabbed it and headed back to the front door where Lucious was patiently waiting.

"Got your gun?" He asked as she began to walk by him.

It made her stop for a moment, she couldn't actually remember if she had put it in her bag or not.

"Uhm, I think so?"

She opened her bag and there it was right on top. With a smile she looked up at Lucious and nodded.

"Yup, I have it."

She took another step towards the outside before stopping once more.

"I should probably leave my bag here, huh? My luck I'd lose it and somehow I would be linked to this raid thingy."

That was something that she definitely didn't want to happen. Jail time, a bad reputation and all the court fees didn't sound like fun. It was right then and there she knew she had to just take the gun and leave the bag. She was sure after it was all over that they would be back at his apartment again to sort the cash.

Marta opened her bag once more and took her gun out and tucked it into her waistband of her pants. She then zipped up her bag and tossed it down the hallway, it landed smack in the middle of the floor and didn't move. Lucious was a bit speechless and only shook his head.

"I'll get that later, ok?"

"Yeah, ok. You ready now?"

Marta walked past him.

"Just waiting on you."

Report Post Tip

"Right. Let's go. Just try to not be afraid when we need to get this done, can't have you backing out on me mid-way, not that I expect you will but you know what I mean."

Lucious locked the door leading into his apartment. The duo trailed down the staircase leading to the double-door exit that leads out of the building and made their way to his car which was a Rolls Royce Phantom decked out in the color blue and clean, hopefully he'd be able to keep it that way for however long they're inside the depot. Lyon was still skeptical about the skills of Marta but he didn't wanna waste time looking for someone else and she was new so he had to give her a break.

It wasn't long until they reached the depot and met with Lyon's inside man named Joey, the kid was willing to risk it for a bonus and as long as he could do his job and get the two inside successfully then nothing else would happen but that was still yet to be seen. Lucious pulled into a lot across from the gate just so they could another view of it before the two stepped out, after observing the area for a while they could only assume the coast was clear.

Lucious looked over at Marta and nodded.

"Joey should be coming any moment. Come on."

The two stepped out and made their way over to the gate and waited by the wall. Footsteps could faintly be heard and they became louder as the person on the other side closes in. It was Joey, and he was right on time; Joey beckoned the two over and began to unlock the gate for them and swinging it open. The kid looks around before bringing his gaze on Lucious.

"I know my job was just to open the gate but... Some trucks came in before you got here and most of their security is directed over to the warehouse so you shouldn't have too much trouble making your way to the manager's office, managed to get in there and grab the code for you just to make your job easier."

Joey pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. He handed it to over to Lucious and they both exchanged nods.

"Good luck."

The kid jogged off after and disappeared into the dark, Lucious glanced over at Marta.

"You ready?"

Report Post Tip

Marta stood there looking at Lucious when he asked her if she were ready, with a simple nod he turned his vision back to where Joey had just vanished from. She wasn't sure why he was looking in that direction cause she was pretty sure they had to go the other way but she decided not to question it. Though one thing she was completely sure of was how nervous she was. It wasn't obvious to the eye but deep within her she was scared to death.

She took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly before responding to him.

"Ready as I'll ever be. How are we going to do this, do we have to be super sneaky?"

Lucious put his finger to his lip, the universal sign to be quiet and pulled her behind a couple of crates. He tugged down on her arm which made Marta crouch down. She was about to speak but could hear footsteps coming in their direction. It must have been a security guard making his round, she wasn't able to get a look from where they were hiding but could definitely tell it was security. There was just something about the sounds how they walked that made them stand out from anything else.

After a few moments Lucious stuck his head out from the crates to check the surroundings. The place was clear and it was time to move. He motioned for Marta to follow him, which she did. Each step she was right there behind him, at this point the place was eerily quiet. Perhaps a bunch of them were on break or something but it was really odd.

The silence though made her nervousness slowly disappear, at this point she was feeling super confident during the situation. That was until the both of them hooked a corner down one of the hallways and were face to face with a security guard. The look on his face was one of pure shock as were Lucious and Marta's. The guard reached for his gun placing his hand on his hip.

"Who are you two and why are you here?" He said in a stern voice.

The pair paused for a quick moment, Marta could see Lucious was slowly moving his hand down towards his hip to grab his gun. That's when Marta got an idea. She wrapped her arm around Lucious and smiled at the guard.

"Lucious, darling! I think this place would look great in your portfolio. Add it to the list of places we own." Marta said with a smile.

It took him a second to figure out what she was doing and he wasn't sure it was going to work but he went with it.

"I told you this place was a good one and at a fine price as well."

Marta could tell the guard was a bit confused as to what was going so he spoke up once again asking them the same thing.

"Who are you two and why are you here???"

Marta scoffed at him as to act like he should now.

"Really? You don't know who we are? Are you new or something? She turned to Lucious. "If we do buy this place, I know the first person that needs to go. She directed her attentions back to the guard who was now buying into it.

"Oh... you guys are going to buy this place? I'm so sorry, excuse me for being so rude. Please I need this job and I'd like to stay if you buy this place."

Marta looked over at Lucious then back over to the guard.

"Well Lucious, let's continue onward. You promised to show me around this place and I don't have all day..."

She walked past the guard and took a couple steps before stopping.

"Well.... If you aren't going to show me around, I'm leaving and going to get my hair done."

Report Post Tip

The plan was underway. They were gonna make some decent money off this so fucking up was the last thing they wanted, the duo snuck around containers and traveled past different buildings before footsteps ended up catching their attention, it was probably a worker or one of the guards, being quiet was such a necessity, any criminal would've known that. The footsteps came closer and closer... The guard was about to turn his head to go inside an office until he turned around and spotted the two of them out of sheer luck.

He wasn't carrying anything heavy from the looks of it. Probably a pistol since you'd have to assume they would all be armed, someone also told Lucious so doubting they had any sort of weaponry was stupid.

"Who are you two and why you here?"

Was the question the guard asked. Lucious however, was creeping his hand down towards his waist to reach for the pistol. The eerie sounds in the night didn't really help anything either, made this almost look cinematic like someone was about to come out of the dark and kill the guard to spite Marta and Lucious, or really help them. The guard was reaching for his hip as well, this was about to be some quick-draw fest.

Lucious felt an arm creep around his waist and it was Marta, he wasn't sure what she was planning right at the moment but whatever act she was gonna pull he was gonna have to follow through with it or they wouldn't get very far.

"Lucious, darling! I think this place would look great in your portfolio. Add it to the list of places we own." Marta said.

Lucious looked over at her than the guard.

"I told you this place was a good one and at a fine price as well."

The guard asked again who they were, but so far the story seemed to be convincing him. Marta just explained to the man that they planned on buying the place, along with a threat of talking to his boss about being rude.

"Oh... you guys are going to buy this place? I'm so sorry, excuse me for being so rude. Please I need this job and I'd like to stay if you buy this place."

Lucious' upper lip quirked with mischief.

The two strolled forward past the guard though it left with Marta to deal with him and Lucious would have to be alone for a while. The guard snapped back into reality.

"Oh, uh... Yeah, I'll show you around. Come on, I think you're gonna like this place over on the other side."

The guard lead them away.

Lucious walked away, but he still had to sneak around; just because they bypassed one guard doesn't mean their wasn't more. Lyon snuck into the nearby warehouse and went from cover to cover while inside avoiding dock workers. A man wearing a suit stood up on a staircase leading up to a catwalk that would oversee the warehouse from a higher place, he walked away which gave Lucious some time to sneak up there undetected before the guard could turn back around.

Lyon hid behind a crate and let out a whistle. The guard turned around, no doubt he was gonna investigate. His footsteps were getting closer and Lyon reached up and slammed his face down on the crate, he was out for a while but not forever. Lucious continued to make his way through another section of the warehouse.

Report Post Tip

Lucious could tell this was the perfect opportunity for him to break off and head to the managers office to get his hand on the money, though it required leaving Marta with the security guard. She could tell he was a bit hesitant to leave her but knew this was the best option at this point.

"Marta, let this fine gentleman show you around. I'm gonna go find the manager, he's supposed to have some numbers for me from his owner. I'll come find you when I'm done."

He glanced over at the security guard.

"You best be respectful to her, understood?"

The guard stood up straight and nodded back to Lucious. "Of course boss! I will protect her with my life."

With nothing else said Lucious wandered off down the hallway, which left Marta and the guard by themselves. She wasn't really sure how this was going to all go down but had a bad feeling about things. It was probably just her nerves though, with this being her first time getting involved with something of this magnitude.

She looked towards the guard and with a deep breath and a snotty attitude spoke up.

"Well? I don't ave all day, are you gonna show me around or we just going to stand here and look at the damn walls? I swear good help is hard to find."

"Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am. Right this way."

He took a couple steps in front of her then turned his head and motioned for her to follow him. They went the opposite direction of Lucious and hooked a right which led them to the sorting center. The sorting area was filled with employees and guard, lots of them. She could tell this is where most of the activity in the building was happening.

"Now this is our sorting area, everything that come in from the trucks comes here. This is where most all the work takes place."

Marta wasn't really paying him no mind as she was looking around the place trying to figure out how she was going to get out of this situation. Cause it was just a matter of time before a supervisor of some sort noticed her and the guard. He would have known for sure that she wasn't supposed to be inside here and that's when shit really would hit the fan.

"Ma'am..."

That's when she snapped back into character mode.

"Huh, yeah this place is ok. Doesn't really interest me to be honest, I'm just hear to appease him. He wanted to show me this place and to get my option, though he doesn't ever take my opinion in consideration. Anyways, this all looks fancy but yeah not my cup of tea."

Just then a supervisor from a platform from above and in the distance noticed Marta and the guard. She stood out like a sore thumb as he shouted down towards them.

"Hey! You? Lady..."

The guard looked back at Marta then at the supervisor then back at Marta.

"Don't worry ma'am, I'll tell him what's going on. You just stay right here, ok?"

Her heart began fluttering as she swallowed hard, the only thing she could do was nod. She watched as the guard made his way over to the supervisor, Marta knew she needed to get out of there and fast but not to make it look like she was up to no good. Once the guard was over with his supervisor Marta took a couple steps backwards making sure to keep an eye on the pair and once they were engaged in conversation Marta hightailed it back in the direction she saw Lucious headed.

Lucious was wondering if Marta was doing just fine. But she knows how to get become a character real quick, wouldn't be surprised if she was an actor back in Italy really. Though, he needed to worry about himself in the here and now because distractions would get him caught easily, persuading one guard wasn't that easy; Lyon continued to make his way through the rest of the warehouse and he seemed to stumble upon a loading dock. There were trucks finally coming in, to his own surprise, but this place seemed restricted since there were a lot of guards holding the entrances, not a single dock worker in sight; it would be obvious cause they all wear jump suits.

There was a table with chairs around and some guys in suits were playing poker. A guy stood up and yelled "Bullshit!" and cards flew all over the place, seemed like he had lost judging by the reaction. The individual sitting across from him shook his head. "Come on, Frank, sit the fuck down, it's just a card game." Reluctantly, the man sat back down and relaxed after someone brought him a bottle of beer, he wasn't waiting for it to get hot though.

There were people in the back of the trucks however, they opened it from the outside with some help and started to off-load some stuff out from the crates, he couldn't tell what they were cause they were in boxes. Looks like someone was in charge since he started telling them where to put it.

"Put it up on that shelf, for these, put it up on the other ones."

The cash was all in the manager's office, but curiosity decided to take over, and he wondered... What was in the boxes?
