very much a Legend in this business. I grew up on her music, watched my parents be young to her music. This hits hard for me. I would say the toughest for me would be Robin Williams. Prince, Micheal Jackson, Charlie Murphy, that is just a few, but from growing up with them somehow builds a relationship and it somehow brings on some kind of feeling. For her on today , is tough caus today is my birthday, sadden, but I still gotta keep it koolaid.

Well said, Flexx. And happy birthday! David Bowie is the music legend that really hurt most recently. As far as other celebrities, losing Robin Williams still makes me tear up when I think about it too much. |

I am deeply saddened by the passing of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Frankin. The world has experienced a tremendous loss May she rest in peace. Gone but not forgotten. . |

i loved Amy Winehouse's music, her death was tough for me but most definitely Rest In Peace Ms. Aretha Franklin, the Queen. |

| Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland. I was a young man in the 90’s and heavily into the music scene. I also lived sort of a rowdy “rock and roll lifestyle”, without going into too much detail, so losing them while they were still fairly young hit hard, like losing friends I grew up with and had shared experiences with. | |

My appreciation for Aretha Franklin came about the first time I saw "Blues Brothers". Hearing her belt out "You Better Think" made me understand why she was so popular among my parent's generation. The girl had some serious lungs. |
