The grip on her purse was loose. Her fingers gently wrapped around the shoulder strap as she causally walked the streets of Brooklyn. She was window shopping today; the weather was great, she thought, why go inside some dusty ol' store? Besides, she did not want to be bothered by a money hungry salesman. No, much better to stroll innocently down the streets gazing at merchandise without the pressure of spending her hard earned money on some overpriced piece of clothing. A fancy hat in the window across the street caught her attention. As she crossed the street, her and a young boy ran into each other. The momentum knocked her to the ground. The little brat bounced to his feet and didn't even offer up an apology before disappearing into the crowd from the side of the street she just came from...
Safely out of sight in a narrow alley, he dumped the purse upside down and quickly sifted through the contents. He counted out $293. A feeling of euphoria rushed through his body. This type of cash would take him weeks to make working a real job. As he made his way back into the crowd and continued down the street, his mind wandered off again...
Despite his reluctance to enter the life of crime, the money felt good in his pocket. He knew the moment he got away with snatching that purse that he was hooked. doogle shoved his thoughts to the back of his mind as began eyeing another woman walking alone. And so it begins. |

The woman watched the kid run down the street as she entered the shop where she saw the hat displayed in the window. She must check it out, especially if she was going to spend her hard earned cash on it. Upon entering she was greeted by the clerk, "What brings you in today miss?" The woman responded, "I am very interested in that beautiful hat, displayed in your shop window. May I have a look?" The two walked towards the window and the clerk reached for the hat as the woman noticed her purse was gone. "Oh no, that little punk stole my purse" She thought to herself. The man handed her the hat and said, "try it on, I believe it will look absolutely stunning on you" in a flirting manner. The woman smiled and her cheeks began to turn red. She placed the hat on top of her head and looked in the reflection of the glass, turning her head checking from all angles. "Unfortunately I can not purchase it right now, I believe a young kid snatched my purse before I entered your lovely store." she exclaimed. "Could you keep a hold of it, until I can get my purse back?" she asked. The man answered with a smile upon him, "I sure will, good luck."
Dom was on his way to an important meeting down at the HQ when he noticed a young boy rudely run into a woman who looked to be window shopping. The boy jumped back to his feet and continued onto the other side of the street and the young lady walked into a local shop after gazing the window for a few seconds. Dom had an hour or two before he needed to be at the HQ for his meeting with Becceh, the leader of Exodus. Along his walk he noticed a little deli and could smell the scent of fresh bread coming out into the streets. This made Dom's stomach growl in hunger and his mouth began to water. Dom walked into the deli and saw a counter with every time of fresh meat, toppings and condiments that you could think of. A sign above the counter read, Fresh Deli Sandwiches 2 for $5. The lady behind the counter welcomed him to the shop and asked what she could get him. "Ill have your two for $5 deal, please." The lady responded, absolutely. How would you like them each made. Dom looked around at all the meats and condiments. Lets do both ham with everything and light mayo please."' The sandwich builder worked her way down the line creating the sandwiches requested.
Dom looked behind him and out the glass window when he noticed the lady coming out of the shop she had entered after being ran into by the young kid. On her face was an upset and frustrated look. He looked back at the lady that was making his deli sandwiches and said, "Could you hold on to those, I've got to speak with someone outside quick." She responded with a yes as she smiled.
He headed out the doors of the Deli and the lady was still standing there. You could tell she was very upset. Maybe she did not have the cash to purchase an item in the store Dom thought to himself. He walked up to her and spoke softly, "Ma'am is everything ok?" The young lady looked up at Dom and replied, "I came out to window shop today and some young boy ran into me. He stood back up and didn't apologize or have any remorse before he continued on. I went into this shop to purchase this adorable hat that my eyes were drawn to and realized my purse was gone. I think the young boy snatched my purse when he ran into me. I'm not sure what to do?" Dom looked around to see if the he could place the boy still in the area. There was no sight, he turned back to the young lady and was very apologetic. Dom noticed the young boy run into the woman and should have done something about it. He did not want the lady to know this so he asked her, "Did you by chance see which way he went? With a sigh, she responded, "I saw him run across the street but I just blew it off and continued to look at the hat displayed in the window. Dom knew he needed to make it right with her, "I will do everything I can to find your purse, contact the FBN and be sure to have a report done. We will find this little punk. Could I get your contact information in case I come across him?" |
