Tenkai was working a project for his wild life business when he suddenly got a knock on the door, he was working on it with jewel, so he found it to be a little odd, getting a knock on the door this late, he then had jewel put in more details, and letting her be creative, to advertise it to the public.

“Yes, please come in?..” He said softly, wondering what it was about, and who it was.

“Hello, Tenkai, jewel, I need to speak to you both, it's of utter importance.” She said coming in, he poured her a glass of his top whiskey, since her fingers seemed to be shaking.

“Here, drink that first, and then talk, you seem scared white…. Did something happen?” He asked, as she downed the shot, and poured her another.

“Well, as you know, we are trying to clear the district, but all if our men are going down…. And I'm just worried sort of…. Tenkai I need you to check it out, I need to know how we can go about this as soon as possible, you are my drifter, and my trump card, so for now I want to keep you in the shadows, and I want jewel to go with you, I need you to teach her how to become of the shadows, so make sure, you are with him at all times, even if you aren't standing next to him, make sure you are in his sight at all times…. I want you call me from one of the pay phones, and tell me what you see… Jewel please don't leave his eyesight, he is fast, and immortal, so make sure you follow him well, it will also teach you leadership skills, both of you, I am counting on you both..” She said, as they nodded.

“Uhm, do you want us to fight them? I mean, like is jewel is in danger?” He asked trying to verify.

“No, not unless they spot you, or if you are in danger, so stay high as possible, all I need you to do, is to assess, and report back, that is all, if you see one of your bodyguards get shot, then go ahead.” She said, with a soft smile.

“Alright, well we will get going, uhm jewel, you will get there by car for now, I will send through the body guards to give you a safe location to be, me I will, well be immortal and unnatural, just look for my eyes, they will be gold and purple… Or look for my long black duster, with my Hood.” He said, as he looked back at the Don, as an after though he said, “ Uhm, go ahead and finish the bottle, I have more where that came from.” He said, as he started to leave.

He then changed into his black leather pants and into a black tight shirt, that clung to his muscles, he grabbed his black hooded duster, glad that his weapons we're already in it.

He then turned and walked, making wind spiral around him, as he disappeared, making his hair flow up, as he disappeared, making the wind disappear with him, he reappeared, making a spiral of wind appear, as he appeared in the alley, next to Vincent's bar, making the wind die down, he then started to float up, to the roof of the building, as his feet landed, his hair bouncing down, to hit his broad back, he moved his hair around, just over his shoulder, and lifted up the hood over his head, as he walked to the other side of the roof, and stood next to the wall, next to the edge, and in deep shadows, he closed his eyes, making his immortal eye color come out, as he opened his eyes again, he started to look out onto the streets of 12th.

As he looked, he could see the enemy, standing around, here and there, some of them in groups, others in groups he then saw a few and looked closely, seeing that they we're just shooting at bgs, he sighed, wondering if it was just as reported, he waited there watching, waiting for jewel

I had been helping Tenkai earlier. I was not sure if we were working too hard, but there was a knock at the door, so I was going to meet up with Tenkai. More about this 12th street gang that would have to be eliminated, but first their BGs. I found Tenkai rather easily, where all of the action was. This looked like a brawl of sorts that this 12th street gang was not going to go quietly down. That was fine more fun this way, the hard way was always more fun, I think.

I guess we were going to be sorta like the announcers at a sporting even? I did not know. I had been fighting these BGs myself too, somewhat , and of course you cannot coe in quietly either without them knowing it. This would be interesting learning about the so called "Shadows." I did not want to just wave my hand of course, no that would be obvious to the eyes we did not want to seeus..duh.. first rule of  hiding in the shadows, I am sure..don't give yourself away!

As he noticed jewel, he quickly disappeared, like before , as appeared before her , his eyes excited , he noticed a male getting to close to the to where they we're ,he grabbed jewel , not having time to speak , he then disappeared with her in his arms, reappearing before a pay, that was close hehe pulled the both inside , as he picked up the phone .

"Yes, transfer me to tower head quarters ...Now please. " he said, as the female voice complied .

"Yes boss , it's me , we can see the situation , so far its just as reported, but ,they seem to be all over the place, uhm, we might have to move from place to place , they are in and out of the fights , they don't seem to know the stealthness that we have , it's almost like it's a bunch of newbies , rogues ....we will stay in the shadows , so I will train jewel, and get her some what up to speed, of what I can do, but that is if you want me to go all out ." he said ,as he looked down at jewels, shaking his head. 

"Yes, Tenkai, this is will be a test , so be easy , and go all out , just be careful though ,because you are my trump card , and it took a lot to get you bud ." She said, as he chuckled .

"Alright , just so you know, it's hard to kill me you know , but alright , I will work hard ." He said as his eyes started to change color .

"Good ,now get back to work ." She said, giggling, as he chuckled in chime , as they hung up , and they walked out of the phone Booth , and went back to the shadows .

"Alright, jewel, what do you know , about shadows ?" He asked, as they walked over close into the alley, next to the corner edge of thr building

 Yes, it was a mess, bullets and the like were flying.. but they were going down heavily...I think the cement shoemaker is working hard today. As he was talking, I was watching what was going on, it was still anyone's game, if you asked me, hopefully we would win though! He had finished talking and had hung up and asked what I knew about being in the "shadow". 

"Well, not a whole lot....obviously making audiable sounds that could be traced to you would not be a good idea.. I would think the more smoke and mirriors you could perform, the better. I would also think you would not ant to let off fireworks of your presence, until you were absolutely ready at the very second, to catch others off guard. Always be on your guard too, as there would or could be others like you ."

"Jewel, that answer, is perfect, but there is one thing that no one knows, did you know, that you could draw in the shadows, and be right infront of someone, and still cant be seen?" He said, as he watched another body guard drop, they needed to get high, other wise, jewel would be seen, he wouldnt though, because he knew how to play as a human, and not be seen, but if he were admitting to himself, he was no human, and jewel was probably no immortal.

He then gently grabbed jewel, and put craddled her, as he started to float up, fast, making it to the roof, without being seen, as they made their way up , he let his feet touch the roof, gently setting her on her feet .

"One thing you need to remember , is the shadows are your best friend, and you have power over them , that is to learn for a later time , but for now, you need the basics , one never get caught , two if you see an enemy too close to you , kill them before they kill you , and two , never leave evedence behind ." He said, as he put one knee on the ground and watched closely .

Listening to what Tenkai was saying, I smiled a little when he liked my answer. I of course did not assume I knew it all, and I would always be learning something. The idea of being right on top of someone, and you are the only one who knew it was interesting to me. Almost like being invisible, and doing stuff to people, and they are looking around all over to figure out who had done it. That of corse would not be something you would do with that sort of thing. I took notes in my head to learn all there was about living in the shadows. Handy knowledge like that you just do not throw in the fire to make ashes of.

"Okay, so make sure you never stay in the same place , ever, because then your enemies will use their senses and you might get noticed , and then your spots will be breached. . .Also never go to thr same hiding place , and never get caught , and if you are following someone don't get to close , abd always use your surroundings to hide yourself , if you think you can't hide yourself , there is always away , remember tha." He said , as he moved, grabbing her , holding her to his chest as they jumped up onto the next roof. 

As they landed, he pulled her in thr shadows, just as someone looked, he closed his eyes , drawing thr shadows in , making it dark so no one can see jewel, as the male left to do what he was doing , he looked down , andsaw that one of thr guys had no bodyguard , and saw that they were killing dt's people , he knew he needed to report that , but not just yet .

"Jewel, tell me something , look down, and what do you see ?" he said , as he held her tightly,  looking down again , he shot thr same guy again. 

Blinking a few times to clear my vision..I see a lot of out Det people beinug fit with cement shoes....not a good thing..I see the guy you shot, and I do not think he saw us, but he was standing close, so he might have brshed against me. Obviously then he would have known someone was here, maybe not necessarily me, but someone.. he would have withdrew his weapon and probably would have been wildedly shooting all over, hoping to get a shot into someone 's cold stuff body.

"Mhm , it also looks like they are getting desperate , and that guy is no longer shooting bgs, he is shooting the none protected , although that is a good future reference but , it can get annoying and it's a very slow process ." He said , as he kind ofbent down to see who was the enemies next victim. 

"Remember jewel , to never stay in the same place ....so we need to move, you pick thr place to move and i follow, or take you there, so bot to be seen." He said as he stood up, waiting for to chose where to hide next.

Um, hmmm.. hard to say, I do not think it matters all that much to me, really. I would not want to pick the wrong place.. I am here to learn, you know ...which reminds me... when you are looking for um, hidey holes, what do you look for, aside from the obvious like it does not call attention to your coordinates. I would think you would want a good visual on whatever you are trying to keep tabs on, is that a word.. I think it is....see I am from France, so in my head I am translating from my native French to English.. I am still learning that too of course.. and those um what do you call them....I will remember it later, I am sure.

"Well, you want a place that no one would think to look, something that points out to you , that says oh wow, perfect , uhm something exclusive ...Some thing that speaks to you , here I will show you the perfect exampleexample ." He said as he pointed at the two buildings across the streets and one building was higher than the other but it was dark and it had a deep shadow that allowed them both to stand next to the edge and stand. 

He looked down at her , and looked back down at the enemy that we're now almost killed off he smirked at the enemy that was trying to see where they were, "Do not move , just tell me what you see about the space that I pointed out to you ." He said .

"Well, it being higher, it gives a good vantage point, yu should be able to see a lot, but hidden enough as to if you are quiet enough , no one should be able to see you if they are not one of those, what do you call.. shadow people, I can refer to them. Untrained...it is almost funny, like they think they hear something, so they are looking around, thinking they are crazy or something. So they write it off as nothing. But also to be hidden from people specifically looking for you, on purpose, and still not seeing clearly enough. I would thing the height is good cause then you can see a lot, the people looking and not looking for you. Any trouble that is happening, you will for sure know about it

"Well , aren't learning quick, jewel keep that up ,and you just might out do me haha" He said as his eyes widened at her answer and quickly went back to normal. 

"So what do think we should do now ,  report or. ..." He stopped in mid sentence seeing Tyler durden , walking up to one of the other durdens. 

He pulled her back into his arms as he closed his eyes listening to them, using his immortal ears , so he seemed to be looking for him, the one and only drifter it was probably time to report ,but he wanted to wait. 

Just as I was about to answer, Tyler, not the GF of soul, but of these Durden guys. Well if he shows up, something imortant is going down for sure. I never did get a chance to answer, a report probably, but since Tyler showed up we would have to wait on that, unless we report that Tyler showed up just now. That would be something our people would need to know, for sure..surely cannot let that guy live. 

"Well we need to move fast, he have been here too long." He whispered, he felt a weird feeling, as if he was starting to get spotted, he then grabbed jewel, disappeared.

Upon reappearing he landed in the place the had just been pointing at moments ago , hehe pulled the shadows into him , feeling the shadow saftey net , he sighed , quietly as he looked to see if anyone had been there , and just as sure as he could see the stars , he shook his head , it was one of tylers members.

Wondering if that guy had followed one of the  bodyguards , he wondered if he was the only one , then suddenly he saw Tyler and a few others of his members , he listened to them talk collaborating to find them .

Find who , was it him and jewel, if so he would never find them , but ....How far would Tyler go to get what he wanted , would he kill one of his own if they failed ? 

He had to get to a phone and report this as soon as possible, maybe they could get the other durdens , and then let thr boss handle Tyler , he needed a plan. 

 Agreeing with Tenkai time was to report before they got away with murder..surely they would kill their own, if that is what it took. I wish we had phones to carry with us, this is such a bugger having to find a phone all of the time! Where is the genius to come up with that? 

"Well we better get on that report thing quickly, we know they are not going to stay in one place for long. Where is the closest phone, do you know Tenkei?

It wasn't like we could take a note, we need the Don to have had this information, like yesterday...Oooo and Tyler would be a huge notch on our belts!

He looked down at her , listening to her , he maybe good at what he does , but she was the boss's right hand woman , and she was boss,  so he would do well and do what she says , even though he was already thinking ahead , he didn't nerd her to tell him that , but it was still good to hear what she had to say .

"Yeah, but once we get down there , while you are on the phone, I will be taking out lights ,keeping it dark , so as soon as I put you down, get into thr booth , and make thr call, and I will do the restrest....as I'm thinking this out , we don'tdon't have time to dottle around, Tyler is no joke , as you already know ....I maybe immortal but , I still won't do anything ......I'm not afraid of him , but I have you with me and I'm not in the mood to get my ass chewed ." He chuckled at the last part .

He looked over , seeing that they were talking more about them ,he could hear them setting up a plan , he sighed , which meant once jewel gave the order he was going to move them .

"Okay let's get this done while they are still discussing it and before they move". "We need to get the others here quickly, before Tyler's people leave if possible. Worse case if we catch them in tie we could follow them to their destination, or spread out and get them that way". Do you have the address of where we are? I do not come to this area a lot to know it".

"Okay , yes, 12Th street in Detroit , that building , is 3862, that is if they stay , but so far this is 12th street ." he said , he picked her up .

"Are you ready....I'm going to teleport, tell me when you are ready we will get going ?" he said , as he looked from between jewel and Tyler and his group. 

"yes, let's hurry up, the crew would not want to miss this opportunity.. are we ending into the HQ or? I committed to memory as best I could and wrote down where we were.. I was terrible with directions, better with landmarks, I think they are called. I did not know what to expect with this teleport thing, do I hold on for dear life, or what?
