“Please join me in welcoming the CannonBall Adderly Quintet!” blasted his record player, before the first tune started playing. He got dressed and made sure he looked nice. He had a long and busy day ahead of him. He walked out of his train station, which was also his HQ. He had to find someone in particular.      

He took a nice stroll thought Seattle’s streets and saw Fio’s yatch and new HQ. Not the one he was looking for today. Why was his sense of direction so bad? He kept on walking until he stumbled upon Sandberg’s HQ. Perfect!    

He walked in and immediatly found Tyki’s room on the top floor. He knew the man enjoyed heights. He invited himself in, forgetting his manners for a second. Luckily, he only caught the mafioso unpacking his bags. He smiled at the slightly startled man and went in for the hug. He knew it was hard for him as well. He then put an arm on his shoulder and spoke.    

”Tyki, Joy spoke very often and highly of you. She felt you deserved the opportunity to lead your own family under her in Ballard. Unfortunately, life decided to take her away from us, and we are now left with a huge gap to fill in. I want to give you the chance to fill in that gap and lead your own family down in Pioneer Square, if you choose to accept it.”

He had only just finished unpacking a few things, still in shock from the events of the night, when he saw Coltrane come in. Stopping immediately, he walked over to greet the Don who also appeared a bit shaken still.

"A pleasure to see you again Don Coltrane, I am sorry for the loss that we both had. I know that you and the Godmother were extremely close, I am sorry I was unable to protect her."

Lowering his head for a moment, he heard Coltrane begin to speak, his words showing spirit in this tough time. This was the approach he knew he should share. Joy would never of wanted her Seattle to become baron and lost, she would have wanted them to stand up and continue the work she had built alongside Coltrane.

"Thank you Coltrane for coming here today. Joy never stopped trying and worked hard to make everyone feel special and to keep momentum moving. The shock was hard to handle but I know that she would have wanted us to continue and help Seattle to prospere. I will gladly accept this opportunity, I consider it a great honour. I have a few final things to do here, then I can make my way over and get started on the re-building."

Nodding respectfully, he lifted his hand to take the keys from Coltrane, packing up the final things he had before making his way outside. He looked up and took in a deep breathe. The location of his HQ was nearby and whilst it needed a touch of work, he could tell that it was a place that could soon be made to feel like a true home again. Turning around, he saw Trixxy speaking to a few of the members of her crew, busy as usual handling family business. With a smile, he approached her to inform her of the news, knowing she would want to know immediately.

Waiting for her to finish talking, he asked to borrow her for a moment so that he could let her know about the new events that had occured. She had always been someone dear to him and he knew that she would be an asset in the coming days of their new operation in Pioneer Square.

"Coltrane has asked me to setup alongside him and Toni in Pioneer Square and I have accepted. I am heading over there now to begin the work and get the Headquarters in order. I am hoping that you will be able to join me and help continue the work we have been doing in Seattle."

Looking around, he noticed the place still busy, people coming and going, the general atmosphere being one where individuals were keen to work and help the Country grow. It was a good thing to see and he knew that this was a chance for him to step up and contribute more, something which he welcomed.

As Trixxy chatted away to her fellow crew members, she turned slightly as she heard her name and noticed Tyki_Mikk waving for her attention. A he began to speak, she tilted her head as she took in the new information, her eyes gleaming once she had been given the news. "Oh Tyki, you know I believe in you and always have. You are deserving of this opportunity and will be a great leader in our fine city." she stressed to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. 

"I'd be honoured to help you on your new adventure. Let me give the crew the good news." she said, giving him a quick side hug before going back to her conversation with her members, giving them all the wonderful news quietly to tell them that she would still be around to help them no matter what. 

"Hello am I late?" I blurted as I felt the feeling of excitement rushing through my veins. 

Tyki_Mikk was in the middle of a conversation, his head bobbing up and down and occasionally letting a sound of laughter escape his lips as he received many best wishes from other people. I waited until I could get him alone, and I braced myself for what I would say as I approached him with ease. 

Social interaction wasn't in my best abilities, but this was a special event, and it was imperative that I wish good luck on a man who would be another added, valued leader of Seattle where his examples would display to the rest of the mobsters that roamed this land. 

"Congratulations on this new auth for Pioneer Square, sir! I haven't formally introduced myself to you yet, how rude of me. My name is Mei. And I hope to see you more around the busy and lively streets of Seattle. Heres to walking on the Path to Ascension."

I nodded in his direction, raising my sippy cup of orange juice in the air as a gentle smile was plastered on my face.
