Uncle Joe was sitting in office going over his miscellaneous business receipts when he realized the time had come again to expand his interests in Las Vegas and neighboring city, Los Angeles. Uncle Joe called for Dolores Addolorata, Carlo Gambino of Summerlin and finally his consigliere Nicodemo Mangana to meet with him at his office in his pork store, Salumeria Biellese.

Upon their arrival, Uncle Joe greeted them with fresh capicola as he ushered them back to his office. As they all sat down Uncle Joe made his way behind his desk and pulled out four shot glasses and his finest scotch. All three in attendance had been in this situation before. They knew Uncle Joe had good news.

Uncle Joe poured everyone's drink and sat down to go over his plans for Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He went on to explain that he would look to move Carlo Gambino to downtown L.A. to expand the families interests in the entertainment industry and the movie unions.

With Carlo moving to L.A. Uncle Joe would need to keep business running smoothly in Summerlin. He went on to explain that he would be moving Dolores Addolorata to take up the reins there.

Finally Uncle Joe was looking at Nicodemo Mangana. Nico or little Nicky as he was often called by friends and family may have been small in stature but made up for it with toughness. He had long served Uncle Joe. He was quite young to be a consigliere but little Nicky had been bred into the life. He knew it well. It was for this reason that Uncle Joe was so proud to announce that he was giving Nicky the nod to run his own crew within the family.

With all the good news the group stood and raised their glasses high saying,

"Cento Anni Di Criminalita!"

The four slung back their shots, hugged and kissed each others cheeks and made their way to the front of the store. They were all excited for the change of pace and expansion. Uncle Joe said his goodbyes and watched as they all walked away. He was hopeful for the future. The coming days would be fruitful.

After a long flight back to Las Vegas, Carlo had one last thing left on his agenda and that was a meeting that uncle Joe requested him to be at. Carlo got into his car and told his driver where to go. Once he arrived at uncle Joe’s pork store, he walked inside and was greeted by uncle Joe. Carlo walked up to uncle Joe and shook his hand “thank you for having me uncle Joe.” he said. As Carlo started following everyone to the back of the shop he started wondering what this meeting was all about, he had an idea but wasn’t completely sure. As everyone sat down, eyes wandered around the room as everyone waited for uncle Joe to start speaking.

After details were told and the meeting finished he knew the first thing he had to do was let his hands know of what is going on. There was a tight timeframe in which they had to get everything straightened out for the move. There was a lot to do in a short time Carlo knew he would need help getting everything wrapped up, he quickly called a few close friends who owed him a few favors to help with the process. Before Carlo left he walked up to uncle Joe and shook his hand as he said “Thank you uncle Joe, it's an honor for me that you want me to be the one to move and help expand our family. From day one I was honest with you, I told you that no matter what you need me to do or where you need me that I will always be willing to do what's best for the family. Having this opportunity to help grow our family, and seeing the faith you have in me to see this through i'm forever grateful. Mark my words you will not be disappointed for choosing me for this.”

"Cento Anni Di Criminalita!" they toasted.

When Nicky hugged Uncle Joe, he did it firmly. Kissed the friend on the cheeks and looked him in the eyes.

"Oh, Uncle Joe! Thank you so much for this chance. I won't let you down. May we do this for a hundred years more! Cent'anni!"

He smiled and hugged the Don again, truly grateful. Then he also greeted the other old friends, hugging, kissing and wishing success to each one of them.

Then they left the building. Everyone had a lot to do.

Rosaleen made her to the party that was going on in the Ligambi headquarters.  This was a great day and you could fill the excitement in the room.  She greeted Don  Joseph_Ligambi with a hug and congratulated him on the expansion of the family.  

You are all about staying focused, you make your family and community proud. The journey is never ending.

She walked over to Carlo-Gambino and congratulated him on his move to Los Angles. 

Good for you and be proud of yourself because we are. You have your priorities in order.  Congratulations on your move to LA.  We will miss you here in Vegas but know you aren’t that far away.

Rosaleen grabbed a quick drink and made her way to Dolores. 

I would like to wish you good luck as you move on to a new challenge. Though we are sad to see you leave The Strip, we are excited about the opportunities that you will find in Summerlin.  Congratulations on your new journey. 

She finally makes her way to @NicodemoMangana.  She gives him a big hug.

What can I say?  There are no words to express how proud I am of you.  You have shown your appreciation and sincerely without the expectation of anything in return. I remember the warm welcome you gave me when I first joined the family.  Now you have welcomed me to The Mangana Crime Family to start this new journey with you.  I am so honored  " Keep your eyes on the sun of success and you will never see the shadow of failure."   Congratulations on this enormous accomplishment.

With that said she lifted her glass turned to everyone and said Cheers
