SINGERROURKE looked perplexed standing in the streets. Does Money equal power or does power equal money? To SINGERROURKE it sounded like the same question. But for so many people to sit around and debate about it it couldnt be. Money was either greater or less than power. Or there was another option completely that was not in the original part of the question, a missing link maybe. It was what would make one equal the other it was the equals itself. But what could this symbol be? What could be something that could make money greater than power and at the same time make power greater than money?

SINGERROURKE listens as people continue on. He didnt expect to see as manyy people here as there was but he was happy. He wondered if they knew about his debate center in detroit. Maybe he should speak up and show everyone he is not stupid that he is actually a pretty smart man. SINGERROURKE opens his mouth and the words flow from his mouth as people listen.

It is not power nor money that is greater than the other. To have power in this world you either need to be very manipulative or rich. To have wealth in this world does not give you power, it just gives you a load of bodygaurds and a pretty gun that a gangster could carry. If you search deep into this a brilliant question, you would have to find that there is one more force involved here. Its the mind that is the true power. It is the mind that is the power over both. The mind shows one how to deal with the money, it is the mind that shows one how to gain power. The mind gives the drive and with the drive comes the oppurtunity, taken from quoth_the_Raven. If we had not a brain we would be similar to those that roam our streets now again just looking to die, Tyler Durden and his family for example. They are powerful. If you shoot them they shoot back. They have enough money to fly out from deleware city every other week to take shots in our cities. What seperates us from the Durdens?

It is our ability to think. It is our reason. It is our mind. That is what makes us powerful. Our mind is what makes us grow richer. Can anyone name me any leader that wasnt smart? It is the beauty of the mind that prevails here. I am sorry if i have taken this to an area it did not need to go. I just felt like throwing in my two cents since i was intrigued by your conversation.

I am new to this world but for me I believe this....In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Friends and countrymen - unfortunately your math is terribly off. There are many roads to power. None of which involving money.

For instance to find average power, all you have to do is divide change in work by elapsed time. If you want to get real fancy - you'll start intergrating. Weeeeee....

I have a different believe Money does help create power but it doesn't equal Power. Power will easily take over Money if the Money doesn't have any Power to begin with. First off Power is not defined by Money if you don't have your Mafioso's to back you up. You can have all the money you want but if all the Mafioso's are against you what good will that do? Power would require you to have a bunch of people to help you achieve this. So obviously this would bring you the money. That's where loyalty comes into play. So I believe money and power will not exist without loyalty.

Don't matter how much power you got. Unless you're a Godfather you will need the money or you will fall quick and hard.

Ultimately when you break apart power - it consists of mass multiplied by acceleration multiplied by distance all over time. Mass plays an important part in determing our gravitional force - which differently contributes to said falling. Whether it be quick and/or hard.
