Question. If a leader of a crew were to pick your pockets and keep the dough, and it happened in your own city, and they class themselves as friendly to this type of thing, and you were me, would you give them a middle fingered wave of the hand to their possibly smug mug back?

I chose not to, until I chose to, and by that time it was too late to. I tried catching up with them and ended up running out of breath. Asthma ain't the best thing going 'round.

What would you do, if you were in my shoes? Err on the side of caution, or follow up on your principles? Which would be, not whilst in the city I call home, even if you are that bold.

And is the principle in question even worth following up on?

I left it too late. Would've liked to catch up with the sneak though and see what came of it. Maybe I should've just tossed one of my shoes at 'em. Or someone else's.

There's an air of respect to consider, but that all depends on where your expectations of respect lay. If you're brave enough to mug a crew leader when you are any lower rank, kudos. At the same time, if a crew leader or leadership individual walks into that situation, it's their pride they are gambling more than anything.

Where I wouldn't expect anyone to assume it is OK to fondle around in the pockets of others, I would also expect those in leadership positions to know exactly what they are letting themselves in for. The rule of the city should be considered, too, which I know in most cases to have a stance of 'not getting involved in Pickpocket disputes'.

This would in theory negate any fuss anyone in a leadership role wants to kick up about being mugged. 

My personal stance is driven by respect. I don't enjoy people feeling around in my pockets, and I also think it's ludicrous to request permission to pocket pinch from someone. In that respect, I'll respond as would be expected to such attempts.

Honestly, I don't PP. Don't like it. got mugged serveral times as well for simply trying to be PP friendly. Yes PP without return is considered the same as mugging for me. And to be off the bat, I did write that I'm not not PP friendly on my profile with a subtle note of I mug you if you do. Only 1 forced his luck so far and I guess that he isn't very happy of the results either.

On the part that JackMezzo wrote, yes. If a leadership disrespects my stance and does PP me into a mug (no return) I either try contacting them or, to avoid conflict because of misunderstandings, I'd rather contact my crew leadership. I won't die if I lose $7500 but if it happens daily I will get rather annoyed.
