Madeline had arrived in Detroit mid-day, after a long flight from Las Vegas. She felt like she was constantly in motion, never really staying in one place for long, no matter how hard she tried. She had been focused on work lately, especially Southern Charm, so as she traveled she made a point to make the most of her travels by exploring the business districts of other cities. Today she was in Detroit and what she found was a bustling city with a whole lot of restaurants. There were also a multitude of activities; a circus, a lake, and a bowling alley.

While she wanted to spend time visiting multiple places, she settled first on picking a restaurant. After her long flight she was starving and when she found the steakhouse she heard her stomach grumbling. Perfect.

Heading inside, Madeline could see the place was popular. She waited to be seated and took some time to study the menu, settling on an order of bread, olives and a sirloin steak. The bread and olives were delivered first and she quickly dug in, enjoying the different flavors. The steak came soon after, cooked to perfection. She’d ordered a side of veggies and a baked potato – a lot of food but it all smelled so delicious she was sure she’d finish it without a problem.

As she ate, she debated what business she would pick next. Maybe after such a meal a walk along the lake might be in order. Yes, then she could head back to the hotel and be on the move again in the morning.

Lushie was settling in at the House of the Stoners headquarters in Corktown, she had only been there a few days. Her bloodline goes back sometime with the new godfather there, who was kind enough to take her in when your former family broke down. She had a bit of a busy morning as she sorted her room out more to make herself feel more at home and was beginning to crave something to eat.

She got herself freshened up and made her way down to the kitchen's to see what she could cook. She opened the cupboards, nothing, she opened the fridge, nothing of interest stood out to her. Well unless she wanted to chew on some celery sticks with a jar jam that is. "Dammit!" she blurted out as she wondered if she should just go grocery shopping or take herself out for dinner. She decided just to go out for dinner, she craved a decent steak and knew just the place to visit.

Lushie went out of the kitchen to the lobby of the headquarters to put on her jacket and to grab her handbag, to then make way. The place she planned to visit she had visited before and had a great time. The service was fantastic, she had left her purse behind on her previous visit by accident. The owner entrusted one of his waitresses to get it back to her when she was residing at the lighthouse.

"Maybe it was fate" Lushie muttered as she thought about the previous incident. For now, she worked for the same big guy, Godfather DeeSe7en, as the owner of Detroit's Finest Steak House did, Random. Not that she needed a push to go visit the establishment, in order to support it. The steaks along were going to do that, plus the service she had before.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Lushie made her way in and picked up a number and proceeded to go sit at the table she had previously. She picked up the menu to decide upon what steak would take her fancy this afternoon.

Soon enough a waitress was over and asked Lushie if she was ready to place in her order, "Greetings! Yes, I am. May I have Garlic Bread with Cheese for the starters, and Ribeye steak, well done and with all the trimmings for main and peppercorn sauce, please?" Lushie replied to her as the lady jotted down the order onto a pad, "Would you like anything to drink, Lushie?" the waitress asked her, "Bottle of the best red" Lushie replied with a big grin on her face. The waitress then headed towards the kitchens as Lushie took in her surroundings as she waited.

The waitress returns with gorgeous looking hot plate of Garlic Bread with cheese, and a Glass of their finest wine on the house. she sets out the table and puts a napkin on Lushie's lap then pulls the plate of garlic bread with cheese closer.

"Enjoy you starter, your main will be with you shortly"

A few moments pass and Lushie has just finished her Garlic Bread with cheese and taking a sip of her wine, the waitress takes a way the old plate and heads back the the kitchen.

Lushie takes another sip of the wine and before you know it the waitress is bringing out the best Ribeye steak, well done and with all the trimmings for main and peppercorn sauce.

"Enjoy you meal madam"

The waitress continues to wait on the other customers in the Restaurant

"Wine on the house?" Lushie said surprised to the waitress as her starter of garlic bread with the cheese arrived, who just nodded as she got Lushie's napkin ready too. "Enjoy your starter, your main will be with you shortly," the waitress said to Lushie, presenting the food well. "Thank you, looks lovely and thank you for the complimentary wine too" Lushie replied to the waitress as she went to get stuck into the garlic bread and to enjoy the wine.

Wasn't long after that her main course arrived of her Ribeye steak and all her wishes with it, "My god this is heaven" Lushie muttered as she bit into the first bite of the steak and completely forgot about the outside world. At that moment all that mattered was the steak!

She finished up her dinner and drank up her wine, as she then went on to call the waitress over, "Hey, Do I remember right that you do desserts too?" Lushie enquired as the waitress went and got her the menu to check it out. She took a quick glance and told the waitress what she would like to try, "May I have the Sticky Toffee Pudding and if possible a scoop of ice cream with it?" Lushie said as she went on to order dessert from the waitress, "Certainly miss" the lady replied as she went to the kitchen to get the chefs on to it.

The waitress was happy to see Lushie start to work her way through the menu and finaly chose what was her favorite desert

"With pleasure Lady Lushie"

Sitting in his HQ DeeSe7en starts to feel a little bored. Rika was out of town on business and he wasn't to sure when she was expected back. Sitting back in his nice leather chair staring at the piles of paper work on his desk his stomach growls. He reaches down pulling open his snack drawer, but all that remains was five pre-rolled blunts, but no snacks. "Fuck it." D7 says and stands up walking over grabs his coat and hat then exits his office making sure to lock the door behind him.

Walking aimlessly down the street he remembers Random  had opened up a steak house. It was decided he was gonna pay a visit to his good friends business. He makes a quick right then a left then D7 was on his way. After a few minutes walking he spots it Detroit's Finest Steak House. Walking up he pulls open the door and enters. Without saying a word he is immidietly escorted to a private booth in the back of the restaurant with a full few of the rest of the patrons. D7's order is known for him the service is perfect.

"If I'm lucky maybe Random is ligering around he. If I'm really lucky maybe Rika will make it back for dinner."

Flexx walks in with his guard Taga. They had been out on the hustle all day, and he wanted to stop and get something to eat. Detroit's Finest Steak House was on the way to the estates, and they could sit back and enjoy themselves after a long day. Taga turned up the block where the restaurant was and they made their way over to the location. Taga parks and Flexx takes a few drags of the blunt before he passes it to him. They hop out of the vehicle as Taga finishes the last of the blunt and make their way inside. They entered and grabbed a number, they took a seat and began to look around the place to see if there were any familiar faces in the joint. Flexx raised his hand to one of the tenders walking by to ask a question.

"Hey do you mind if I smoke while I wait?"

He says with the blunt in his hand ready to light. They patently wait to be seated. The place was kind of jumping so they could understand the wait time.

Pushing open the door, he looked around, the smell of fresh meat after a tough day of delivering his imports had taken the energy out of him as he looked around.   Looking around for a place to sit he wandered to a quiet two seat table as he sat glad to take the weight of his feet.    Looking around, he viewed the menu as he waited for service.

Looking round he saw a few familiar faces as he thumbed through the menu as he noticed a waiter heading towards him.

"Can i grab the bread board platter please, followed by the ribeye steak well done and finish with some sticky toffee pudding  I would also like a bottle of Malbec if you have one please with the meal and a coffee to be served the same time as the dessert please"

Looking over he folded up the menu as he leant back in the chair.

Isabella had come to visit her father Salvatore_Luciano one more time before her wedding day.  Deciding to visit some of her old haunts was a no-brainer... but she also wanted to see some of the new businesses that had been launched since her last visit.  One such place was Detroit's Finest Steak House.

She'd heard nothing but good things and she wanted to see for herself if it was every bit as wonderful as the rumors stated - after all, she did still own a restaurant in town and it was good to know one's competition.

Sitting down she began to look over the menu and wait for a member of the wait staff.

It was a cool, calm night when Trixxy had entered Detroit's Finest Steak House, the room was beautiful and bursting with life. Full of people, fancy decor and soft music. It was the finest she had ever been to, that was for sure. Moving further inside, she waited to be greeted for someone to show her to her table. Already booked in advance, of course. She gave her name and took a short walk in following the lady that had told her right this way.

She wore a soft casual red dress and as always, matching heels and her make up plus her hair was always minimal but well put together. Sitting at her table before thanking the waitress, she sat back into it straight as she glanced over the table she had been given.

Waiting for her friend @Charlie__Pavanno, she glanced around the area. Everything smelled delicious and the place was lowkey but fancy.

"Well...I always said that heaven was a steak away, actually no I never..."

Charlie sighed as he walked into Detroit's Finest Steak House, although he doubted it, considering this was most likely its only Steak House. Still, he enjoyed the atmosphere, he was here for a social call from his friend, Trixxy. Someone he had done business with and had then evolved into a rather nice friendship,

"Of course, there were the other times of pure craziness that are forever screwed into my skull..."

Charlie noticed his friend was sitting at a rather private, it was away from the people, so they would not pick up some of the noise, but not so away that they would not enjoy the Live Entertainment. He waved at Trixxy with a small smile twitching at his lips as he made his way across, being careful not to bump into many people.

Charlie was dressed in his classic black leather jacket with a white business shirt and burgundy tie, he also wore black slacks and boots. He was going for casual and he was sure that he pulled it off...to an extent at least.

"Well, let's get started, shall we? I don't need a repeat of last time, I still wonder how you are such a lightweight at times, Trix."

Charlie grinned humoring himself at the expense of Trix, as he sat down at the table with the grin still intact.

Turning a little, she noticed her friend in her eyeline and instantly straightened herself with a sharp smile. "Charlie." she said, moving her form into a light stand to give him a proper greeting. He was too wearing his classic casual clothes, both not wanting to make a fuss of the night by coming to a steakhouse too.

Laughing at his comment, she lightly rolled her eyes as she moved her hand to straighten out her dress before moving back into sitting. "You know you enjoyed looking after me. Also giving you crap on the way home. It was all fun and games, whatcha talking about!" she said with a wink as she picked up a menu. Her eyes began to scan the delicious sounding steaks.

It was lovely to take a night off maintaining everything and keeping everyone in line. Making sure nobody gets shot and killed. It was a pleasure to get to go out with a friend for once, to relax for a bit.

"How have you been darling?" she asked him lightly, glancing up over the menu.

"Ah well, I've been dealing with business, adjusting myself with the times."

Charlie grinned, as he sipped some of the water that had just been delivered by a waiter. His eyes had soon found the menu and opened it up, trying to find something that would appeal to him.

"What about you? How have you been dealing with...business?"

Charlie asked with a rather awkward pause, he knew asking another family, along with his standing as having just an association with the Race St Company would either put him in jeopardy or hinder him somehow, which was why he asked it in that pause, knowing that Trix was his friend, but she was also a Boss of High Standing in Seattle..

Charlie looked up from his menu with a coy smirk in place, but his eyes would always dart back down to the menu, knowing that his nerves were getting to him in this rather tense, in his opinion, situation.

Report Post Tip

Tilting her head, she listened to him talk as her eyes wandered over the menu. She had no idea which steak to choose from, though she was definitely more interested in the wine and beer menu. From his comment, though, she kept looking at the food with a small smirk on her lips until he finished telling her what he had been up to.

"Gotta do what you've gotta do. Heard a lot of good things about you, though, Charlie. You seem to be settling well into Philly. I have much respect for the city." she told him, her eyes fully on him to show her seriousness with a small smile spotting on her lips.

As he talked again, she chuckled as she took in his tone. He always did get nervous talking business, like it was something that couldn't be talked about. Grinning at him, she put her menu down for a second. "Oh come on Charlie. i won't say anything I don't want to, but that topic isn't a sin you know." she explained, her grin still firm to show she was serious.

"Business is good. My crew is settling in and all seem to be fairly happy. The city is good too." she followed with, giving him a soft wink again as she began to read the menu once more.

"The City is good? Huh, I'm surprised, considering that Artie was said to have lost a boxing match twice now, I do wonder how that bodes for a city's...morale"

Charlie said this with no small amount of teasing in his voice, he knew that Trixxy had been at the Draven vs Artie Bucco fight, considering that was where this partnership and now friendship began. They had often traded few barbs that had no real heat behind them, as what Charlie was doing now, although he did remember that he threw quite a tantrum at the second Artie Bucco fight..

"I Do believe I bet against Heston, I wanted Artie to win, but some things are not in our favor. I lost quite the substantial amount of money, something that I do not want to happen again, but it seems that Lady Luck often has her moods..."

Charlie sighed, as he finally found the steak that he was too devour this night. His eyes looked up, looking towards Trixxy with amusement shining in his normally lifeless and dull grey orbs.

"Only I believe there is some business to be done in the quaint little city that you find yourself occupying, but that is for another time when I come to visit you because I do hear that there are great sights to be seen in Seattle,"

Charlie grinned once more, his eyes looking around the Steak House before falling back to the concentrated face of his friend, who was still deciding on what she wanted to eat.

Report Post Tip

Glancing up at him, she raised her eyebrows at his slight tease. "What can I say. Gotta give the others competition for a while. He'll do better." she said, winking. "Besides, we have much more than that!" she exclaimed, rolling her eyes before smiling.

She had met Charlie at the boxing event where she proudly supported her right hand man. He had been there supporting both players but rightfully supported Heston more so. Since then though, they vowed to each other to meet up once in a while in a lowkey place for a night of food and drink.

To her surprised, she listened to how he bet against Heston. "Whaaaat? You did? How didn't I know that! Oh no wonder you're so bitter then." she teased herself, grinning at him as she finally picked out her steak. She waved over the waitress to give her their order.

"Yes. Please come to Seattle sometime. I have a bar over there. Granted, it's a strip club but I'm sure you'll cope." she said with a grin. "Drinks will be on the house, of course." she added with a soft genuine tone.

Report Post Tip

"No Darling, I am not bitter, but I am simply what's the word....peeved that I lost that much of money, it is quite the moment and does not allow me to proceed with such business, but there are other ways to make money in this little world of ours."

Charlie gave off a coy smile towards Trixxy, knowing that this was simply another teasing game, but then, as he sipped his water, he had choked and his face flushed red. His eyes had avoided all contact with Trixxy,

"Uhh, I am sure that there are plenty other establishments besides a club of that standard,"

Charlie's eyes still remained on the menu, even though he had finished deciding what he wanted, it was better than trying his luck at getting another shock of being invited to attend a Strip Club...

"And no, I will not what's the word....'cope' as I do have other business to attend too in Seattle, but drinks do sound fun, on the house? Now that makes it a tough decision, If the bartender is not one of the products on display at this club, then I may consider going..."
