Philly. What a fucking city...

Eddie was born and raised in Queens, New York City. He had some trouble with some wrong'uns a few years back which was why he had to come to Philly. But he was happy things worked out the way that they did.

He found himself sitting in one of the local diners, waiting on a package being delivered to him. Eddie was sat with Joe Adonis, drinking coffee and making plans for the future.

"I'll tell you something now, Joey. This city is fucking great. Ask me why..." Says Eddie to Joe as he lights himself up a cigarette from the pack that he had sat on the table in front of him. 

Joe obliges and humors Eddie for a moment, proceeding to ask him why.

"Why? Cause this city is the City of Kings. Fucking aces in my book. Ain't no place like it. It's home for me now, and it always will be." Eddie inhales some of the smoke from the cigarette, then places it in between his fingers. 

"When I first came here I was a nobody. A nobody who was in some trouble with some bad people. Look at me now. That's all changed and those fuckers wouldn't dare come at me now."

"Business is great here, the business districts are flowing with good business. What more could either of us ask for? I tell you something else though? If I get wacked someday? My son will continue to work towards the greater good of this city. I'd rather not have it any other way."

Eddie pauses for a moment. He takes another inhale of the smoke.

"Philly, eh. The fucking City of Kings..."
