They say practice makes perfect. So why was Luna failing every - single - fucking - time? For months now, she had been willing to give up precious time in the day to learn correct etiquette and table manners. After the passing of both of her parents, she was living alone now - but she inherited quite a lot of money from their pockets. She missed her parents dearly, but could not bring herself to shed any more tears. Luna had done enough of that in the past. Today was a special day. The money she had inherited were being used for many different things, but one of them was hiring some... people to help fix 'er up. Well, she could call them her glam squad - as they were quite literally trying to give her a transformation from a pitiful, dirty, and lazy girl to a well-mannered, presentable, and decent looking woman. Luna was slowly growing into a lady, and she needed the people to help her through this development process. But as time went on with her glam squad, she slowly realized that everything she was being taught was coming in one ear and out the other. Truthfully, she was learning nothing - and she was still set in her old ways. "Sit up straight," one of the ladies with the purple curlers in her hair would say, "...Place your utensils correctly on the plate when you're finished eating." This had been going on for a while now, and Luna was fed up with the instructions she was getting mostly because it held no meaning for her. When her glam squad would finish up their session for the day and part ways to their separate homes, Luna would lock herself into the bathroom and just - cry. Cry like there would be no tomorrow. She would question why she even hired them in the first place? Well, she knew the answer already: Her parents had left her and she needed some kind of acting guidance. Luna had always been dependent on them, so of course when they died - it was a huge shock for her. The tears wouldn't go down anymore. She was numb to the pain she was holding inside of her wretched soul. The only thing she could do when she stood in that bathroom of hers was just look at herself in the mirror - and wonder where she went wrong. She thought about trying out drugs for the first time - but that won't do her any good. It would just be a temporary satisfaction. Get a new hobby perhaps? Luna shook her head as she analyzed her figure. No... that would be too much pressure on her poor, frail, and awfully small body. She would take up a sport, but her stamina had increasingly reduced. Slowly, she was losing her grip on reality, and she needed a way back in - fast. *** There were not much people in town. She decided to check into the family headquarters earlier that morning, but left as soon as she got the approval to leave for a break. Luna had never visited Chicago's business district before. Maybe she would visit one today and put her manners to the test? Did she have what it takes to be a lady? It amused her - that people got a kick out of people who didn't have manners. Like, what was up their butt? Luna could only feel sorry for those who took the time out of their day to comment on someone's 'nasty' table manners. How does one ever live in bitterness and negativity was unbeknownst to her. She decided to head into a widely known restaurant. There were not alot of people inside, but she sat down by a small, round table and hoped maybe one of them would care for a harmless conversation. |

Livingthedream could certainly relate to practice makes perfect. But then again, I wonder is there such a thing as perfect? In my world perfect means being loyal to whom I work for and communication is essential on both ends of the spectrum. Livingtherdream plans her next flight Hand to head! Perfect does indeed exist and the name is God |

Livingthedream revisits latest news with a mere question. Before stepping up on the soap box she runs her right hand over her face. With the upmost experience and lacking stupidity, she got to ask is this the norm on these shores with no word up to anyone you recruit or you loyal then fuck me more. |
