I can be cool like you Started by: SINGERROURKE on Oct 29, '10 15:21

SINGERROURKE walks around the streets and listens to people talk to each other and finding everything rather a tad bit strange. All these mafioso walking around the streets speaking with there faces. Since when did this happen Mafioso speaking with faces? Its kind of a little lame he thought. Thats not the only thing though so many people would hold these conversations and have these strange abbreviations. What in the hell is a lol? Still not being able to figure it out he even thinks about when people say MR all the time. What does this all mean? None of it makes sense anymore. SINGERROURKE was once irriatated by the lack of thinking about what people were saying when they came out now he is ashamed to see that so many people just come out here and have no class just speaking in the streets as if someone cares to hear their two cents. SINGERROURKE walks up to a crowd and begins to try to make cool with them.

Hey Guys! Hows your IRL doing? Hold on real quick i have to LOL for a moment outside of MR.

The young men stare at SINGERROURKE. He was no longer as cool as he once was. How sad this day has come. Just a bunch of hooligans are now crowding the streets no class no intelligence and their best vocabulary is the swear words that the five year olds use on the school grounds. SINGERROURKE walks back to the group of guys who were staring at him.

Now, I dont know this cool hip lingo that all of you kids are trying to do here but everything is so confusing when you speak. I think if you do not know how to speak in the streets you should learn. I will honestly teach you how to talk in the streets for a no charge. It will help everyone else out if you stop talking like a bunch of idiots and actually speak like men with a slight chance of intelligence.

SINGERROURKE stares at the young men. They have to get his point, how could they not? All of a sudden the worst thing happened all of the men gathered around SINGERROURKE began to shout abbreviations at him. Some from the common LOL to the newer more fancier ROFL. Some OMGs while all seemed to be croweded with WTF. SINGERROURKE was so confused he turned around and began to run away. He just ran. He ran so far away.

Toby stands up and walks to where SINGERROURKE use to be standing.

I agree whole heartedly with what this man just said. Personally I blame these cartoons that they are showing. Rotting the minds of the youth. I remember a time where the streets were overflowing with intelligent men and women discussing ideas and telling stories. I hope that we can returns to these days.

Toby steps down and walks back into the crowd.

Attempting to break into a canter to catch SINGERROURKE, Crescendo grinds to a halt after 6 yards. His immense bulk and tightening thong preventing any futher stressing of his thighs.

Breathless, he slowly begins to speak..........

I too find the content and terminology used confusing however, it is our way as an organisation to accept the new blood into our way of life and encourage their participation in all areas of business. Communication plays a great part and yes, difficulty in the understanding of certain elements is commonplace.

The education of new blood is paramount in ensuring the continuation of the standards that are held dear. I applaud your offer to assist the younger members of our society in the art of communication and the honing of their skills. Hopefully, some will take advantage of this.

"I too agree with you on this. I can't believe the way some people conduct themselves nowadays. This never used to happen, the people who came to the streets could come and speak with respect and dignity, none of these silly little abbreviations."

Sammy shakes his head, before tutting loudly

"Thank you for coming out here and making it clear for everybody that this is just not right."

Sammy walks up to SINGERROUKE and shakes his hand

"Well said my friend, well said"

Walking out of a nearby storage area, he looks at the crowd wondering who's been shot in the face to draw so much attention.

I personally have seen a lot of this in small doses and also too much of that nast ooc'itis virus that goes round.

The general truth is i see it but generally think with the poor level of education and the poverty in some areas people willl be bred with less oratory skills but can always be put to work at a legitimate business in the area.  Maybe lifting on the dock, constuction or driving some of my trucks.

Sadly most families i would think have an in built education centre to help them with their language skills and how to act on the street but unfortunately not everyone is a perfect student..

After listening to what SINGERROURKE had to say. Even though the man is long gone, Marcus starts to clap his hands together.

I do not applaud for this speech to have been excellent, although it did hit a particularly good point. I clap for SINGER who has stepped up to the plate and welcomed a very hard challenge. I wonder if this man has practiced medicine in his past. Taking on the disease of oocitis is not a small task. I applaud him for putting himself out their and making our community better.

Marcus' strong hands fall into his coat pocket to pull out a pack of smokes and a match book. He takes a cigarette out of the pack and lights it. Once he takes a drag off of it he turns his attention towards Crescendo.

I do believe that this oocitis disease is passing through people who have been on these shores for awhile. This isn't something that new arrivals are catching on the boat to America and passing along to all their friends. Just as IL_Postino has stated, we've seen many short outbursts of this disease, nothing major, but putting a stop to it while it's small is easier then stopping it while it's a much larger problem.

Maybe each of us should consider what we say before we say it and if we feel the oocities coming on us we should run home and wait it out before speaking publicly.

Marcus flicked his cigarette but into the gutter and proceeded to the car that had rolled up.

just walks out of an interesting discussion on the streets and finds herself in a new even more interesting one

Well, well, my dear SINGER, you really got a point there! You're not the only one getting confused by all these youngsters...
This fair lady here also has some problems now and then to uncramble the strange words and abreviations used by them>

And you know what? You are way cooler than those newbies talking like toddlers, nothing cool about that at all!

joins Marcus by applauding for SINGER

btw, do you know what <3 means? I keep getting these mails from the same guy, I just have no idea what it means

glances at one of the bystanders in the crowd and walks over to the next heated discussion

Toby looks at Solara for a moment

Cooler than who? What is a "newbies." Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good.

SINGERROURKE walks back out and thanks everyone for listening then he walks over to Solara.

Solora if a man keeps sending you that sign it means you are greater than the number three on his scale. However if he does not stop sending you these mails i would be a bit freightened if i were you, There are some pretty weired people out here.

SINGERROURKE smiles at his good friend Toby.

Toby a newbie is someone who on severe occasaions comes out to our streets and displays in front of everyone they suffer from that wretched disease oocitis or something along those lines. Nothing to worry about its just always best to ignore those that come out to the streets talking like that. Then they learn the only way anyone ever talks to them is if they act the way they are supposed to be, MAFIOSO!

Townslave after seen everything that went on from the other side of the street runs over to the scene.

You kids think you know everything? Well you in the baggy pants, you're coming with me.

Townslave drags some young boy wearing baggy pants, into the nearest alley way. Townslave shoves him against a brick wall and places his gun in his mouth.

Here we have a strict language we like to follow and you are speaking words I cannot comprehend. So if you are smart, boy, you will give me your wallet and run on home.

The young boy with tears pouring out his eyes from the fear hands Townslave his wallet with $29 inside of in. The young boy then runs out of the distance at a speed Townslave has not seen yet. Townslave walks back out of the alley way. He can see fear in the other childrens eyes. He turns to them.

Go home.

Thank you for clearing that up for me SINGERROURKE. OOCitis....

Toby shivers at the thought.

I sure hope my children don't catch such a horrid disease. Someone should look for a cure.

The night had been profitable and the bins had been plentiful. Craig had found much he could utilise upon this expedition and he plodded back towards Dipper Den with a smile wider than Derek's bottom. He chanced upon a conversation, non-dippers and Journeyman in the Art, Crescendo, who he noted had a healthy dippers sheen on his meaty face. He listened briefly and decided to pass on wise words, known to all pilferers.

If you give a man garbage, he will look at you with a puzzled expression.

Teach a man to dip and he will never be puzzled again.

Craig nodded sagely. He was a sage. Everyone knew it. He made his exit; Derek would be lonely and that could only mean back things for Tabby, the Dippers' cat.
