The Tale of the Soap Box Started by: Dick_Gozinya on Oct 30, '10 09:25

A ruggedly handsome young man walks down the street carrying an axe in his left hand and a bible in his right hand.  He waves to several prostitutes he knows from his confessional sessions. Soon he approaches his destination, a lonely street corner that holds on to remnants of past crowds.

"I've waited years to do this" he said with a tinge of malice in his eyes.

He gently kissed his bible and placed it on the ground next to him then arose with a rage.  Raising his axe over his head he brought down squarely in the middle of the soap box that sat ominously on that street corner. Again and again his axe blade rained down upon the box, splintering it and sending shards across the pavement.  After a few minutes he stood there breathing heavily looking down at his deed.

"I've hated that fucking box for years.  Nothing good ever came from it.  Sure they'll build a new one, but maybe it'll be made from a larger variety of wood and not just that single broken record kind." he spoke as he tossed his axe to the ground.

He then bent over and picked up his bible and turned on his heels.

"Now, let's see who needs to go to the fucking Confessional!"
