The main office of A&N Corporation was smack bang in the middle of the large lot. Named after business partners Adonis and Nighttrid, the company catered towards transport but on the more personal level. Limousines and Taxis were the main people movers that used this block of land as a depot to refuel, to clean and repair, and to park when not in use.

Calls came in, and cars went out. Depending on the job, the drivers could be in and out numerous times a day. Sometimes they'd have to wait for extended periods in a section of the office designed for it, and other times they'd find themselves with more to do than they could handle. It was an odd job, with odd hours, so only the most devout professionals were hired.

On top of the people moving, the business catered to a more specific trade. Drugs. They moved them through the city through the cars, and with the same drivers behind the wheels. If you stepped into the place, you wouldn't expect to find a clean set of palms gripping a steering wheel.

If you were a simple civilian, maybe you wouldn't be none the wiser. But for those in the know, they could also use this company to transport goods.

In the heavily fended off lot, there were also a few trucks. Nothing substantial, yet for bigger requests and for more specific types of goods the drivers could use something a little more heavy duty.

Rosaleen received a call from the front desk that a driver from A&N Corporation was waiting outside for her.  She grabbed a light shawl, she and Bentley made their way outside.  Curbside a Cadillac 352 Town Sedan was parked and a gentleman wearing a cap with A&N  lettering on it was standing next to the car.

Rosaleen approached the man and told him who she was.  He introduces himself as Frank, that he was there to take her to see Nighttrid.  He opened the door for her to have a seat in the front and then opened the back door for Bentley.  

As they drove to A&N, Frank shared a few stories of his times in Detroit.  Some were rather funny and made Rosaleen and Bentley laugh. 

When we arrived the place was huge.  They drove past a  couple of lines of beautiful cars, parked limousines and taxis.  The main office was in the middle of this massive area.

We walked into the office, Frank told the receptionist that Night was expecting us,  that he would find him,  let him know we had arrived.  He walked toward an office in the back and she assumed it must be Night’s office.

The receptionist escorted them to a small waiting area and asked if they would like a cup of coffee or a cold drink,  we declined.

We sat down waiting for Night.

Nighttrid was sitting in his office sifting through some paper work when there was a knock on the door, it was Frank one of his most trusted. He informed Night that Rosaleen and Bentley were here and waiting for him, Night quickly put his paperwork aside and cleaned his desk. He got up and proceeded to the waiting area where they were waiting for him.

Night welcomed them to his establishment and invited them to his office, Frank was waiting holding the door open. Nighttrid offered them a seat at the round table in the center of the room, once seated he offered them Talisker whisky; one of the flavors of 1897. He also offered Frank up for what ever job he might be needed for, he told Rosaleen that he was at her disposal until she needed.

Night sat down and discussed about what vehicle's they would need, he recommended that they should go for a Daimler-Benz Lo 2000 over the Ford Vermillion as the Ford wont be able to carry that many boxes(It was not his call to make so he let Rosaleen decide) but if you really the Ford Vermillion I have that for you, as for the  Lincoln K Series Black Sedan I have a few of them, that won't be a problem.

Night gave a pause to let Rosaleen decide on which truck should be used...

Rosaleen was extremely impressed with Nighttrid inventory.  She had never seen so many beautiful cars before.

You have one impressive operation here Night.   Thank you for placing the cars and truck at our convenience. And thank you for Frank, he's been great so far.  We really hit it off well.  I will make sure I don't place him in harm's way.

The Daimler-Benz Lo 2000  will work out fine.  We don't have to worry about disguising the truck. As you know we have secured a hangar there to park it in.  There's a lot of other boxes stored there.  Going to be nice to see what's in them.

We plan to take care of this within an hour.  If we need more time we will have to take care of the 2 guards returning from their break.

We also talked about not shipping the merchandise back to Las Vegas and taking care of it here.  I know you are working on that for me.  I really appreciate how you have come through for me.  I knew you were good.

We made a quick stop to grab some breakfast for everyone, then arrived at A&N.   Nighttrid had already made it back and his guys were unloading the truck. Frank took us straight to Night’s office.  When he opened the door leaning against the wall were Vincent Cama's paintings.  Rosaleen finally started feeling some closure.

We ate a little breakfast, talked about how things had gone really well.  We all laughed when Fox asked Bentley where the fuck he got that bat from.  Night praised the job well done. 

Now the only thing left was to finalize the sale, get the paintings shipped back and Rosaleen would be on her way back to Las Vegas.

Nighttrid made a call to Assunto and informed him he wanted to talk about the business opportunity they had discussed about and if he could meet Night at A&N Corp in the evening.

Night told Rosaleen that we will take care of the sale and also will organize the shipping of the painting as he knew how important it was. Night told Rosaleen to go back to the hotel and relax, he will contact her once everything is done. 

It had taken him longer than he liked, but Adonis finally got his ass into gear and headed back to Detroit. He had fond memories of the city, for many reasons, but the more important thing for him was he had solid connections here. One being a business partnership with Nighttrid. 

Joe thought about his A&N Corp. partner as he pulled into the lot in the back of a Marmon V-16. He had just as much, if not more ambition than himself. This made him smile, the fact he'd signed the dotted line with someone who cared as much about maintaining things as he did. It would make their journey together a prosperous one, he thought.

The lot looked as Nighttrid explained it over the telephone. Big, with a main office and cars coming and going. There looked to be a spot with his name on it, with Joe Adonis on a white bit of wood atop a piece of metal spiked into the ground. After rolling in and his driver parking the car, he stepped outside to take a better looked around. 

A beautiful day it was, Bright and early with the sun shinning. Night had come in early to make sure everything was in order for his business partner Adonis's arrival. Even tho it was a brand new facility it has to be kept well. Adonis had already advised Night when he would be coming so everything was prepared and ready to go. Night wanted to greet his partner out side so that he could give him the tour of facility.

When the time struck, Night came out to the front to look through the window if Adonis had arrive and he had, Night went out to welcome his partner. They had not met in a while as Night was busy setting up the facilities and Adonis was busy with More important things, After them meeting and having a small talk Night started showing him around. They walked through the lot first looking at all the Limo's and Taxis parked, then Night took him to the waiting area where all the drivers were waiting to meet there other boss, Adonis said a few words and then they made there way to the main building. 

Upon entering the staff inside was waiting to greet Adonis, they made there way to wards the back.......

The staff and drivers looked the goods. Like someone you'd hire to keep their noses dirty. Not everyone looked like they were someone you'd cross the street to avoid, though. Some looked like they'd stepped out of an office job straight into a taxi. Others, like a public defendant tossing away his briefcase for a set of car keys. All, knew the work they were in though. So Adonis didn't feel the need to be cryptic with his words. He let them know they couldn't fuck with the product they were moving. In very explicit words.

Once they'd gone from meeting the drivers, the office staff were next. The same talk wasn't necessary. They were in their positions because they were trusted to be. Not that the drivers weren't. It was just a different trust. One of knowing the ins and outs of the clients, of the connections being made, and the goods that moved. They handled more details, and so were put through more of a vigorous interview process. He saw that they didn't need a pep talk. Joe simply shook everyone's hand before moving with Night towards the offices.

Night and Adonis headed down to the offices, Night was excited to see how Adonis liked his office. The layout was the same as Night's office just the decor was different. After showing the office, they went through some paperwork that needed to be signed.

After all the work was done Night told Adonis to check out the dealership as well, Adonis was surprised as to how quickly it was up and running as he wasn't expecting it to be ready for an other month or so.
