Johnny 'Vis' Coris is one of the most important members of Empire, which is head by LuciousLyon, he is currently a Captain of his own crew in Seattle, but life was not that nice for the former addicted Gambler and Alcoholic, he was nothing more than a thug before. The Lowest of the low and we are about to witness what life has been like for the now Captain of Empire
Growing up, Johnny Coris and his family did not live the lavish life or have that much of a life at all, there were many rumors surrounding the family. His mother was often regarded with disdain among the woman circle, with rumors of her selling her body to provide for her family, while his Father was said to work under some Mafia Bosses at the docks, doing back-breaking work from 10-10, something unheard, for a measly $20 Every week. It was not The American Dream that the Family had envisioned, only that was soon to change, when Johnny Coris had turned 14, noticing the struggling act of his family, decided to go into Gambling, hoping that he would win a few games and his family could actually afford the rent and eat like kings for once, all of this - was for family. As was the way of the Italians in this world. Johnny had started getting into backroom games, mostly playing blackjack and it seemed that he had some luck of Fortuna on his side. He started to win many games, winning as much as $500 and on the big jackpot nights, $1000 and it seemed that it was not going to stop anytime soon. Johnny had garnered much attention, especially from the Seattle Mob Boss, Luciouslyon, who was starting to wonder, how much luck this kid had. He had taken his family from a low-end apartment to a Big Loft that was worthy of an Associate in the Life. No one was ready for the Kid and he was robbing them blind with his skills, but everybody, even the Herald of Fortuna, has their luck cut off for a while. Johnny had started to become addicted, he enjoyed winning and people were starting to realize that. He started to go into $10K games and win, many mobsters in attendance had been pissed and challenged him to another game, but this time, Viscoris had lost, no longer was he the lucky guy from the stories, but he was simply another schmuck to the mobsters who thought he could get one over on them. Viscoris had wanted his money back and started to play more games, never once paying attention to his lessening cash flow or the fact that the Mobsters were cheating him as per usual for their games. It was simply a game to these Mobsters and they were winning, Johnny was soon hit with the realization of their cheating and demanded his money back, hoping that he could appeal to their sense and they had none. "In retrospect, asking for the money outright was a stupid idea, but I was high off of the winnings and drunk from the booze, I was going to do something and it was not sitting down like a good old boy!" Only The Mobsters had none and soon they began to beat down on Johnny, who had no chance, leaving him bruised and in a pile of his own. Johnny soon felt the beating stop and he felt the tension become increasingly higher, Johnny looked around and noticed a figure, someone so imposing that he was sure that this man was an important person within the World that he knew little about. "I would ask you leave this man alone, is that Understood?" Johnny looked up and he saw through the blinding light, this man was Lucious Lyon, Don of The Empire Crew. Lucius soon knelt down towards him and looked him in the eye with a look so cold that Johnny felt a small shiver wash over him with ease. "I've heard of you Kid, and I am sure that you have heard of me. I would like for you to join my organization, I am sure that we have a position for a man of your....talents" |
