He did a double take. "You mean...?" He stood up. "Yea! I'm starving. I'd love to get something to eat. Sandwiches sound good." He quickly threw on his shoes. Eyeing the book he'd given to her as a gift he asked, "Say, you know what, have you ever been to Bartram's Garden? I mean, if it's a nice day we could pick up sandwiches and take a drive over to check it out. I haven't been there in years, but with the leaves turning it's probably really pretty this time of year." |
