Emotions Out Of Control Started by: Kurt-Johnson on Oct 07, '18 19:30

Kurt had just started getting into some trouble after his grandparents death. It was a late October evening as his grandparents got settled in their old cabin as they did every night before bed. His grandfather was a well known local farmer. He spent most of his days operating a tractor out in the fields. His name was Allen and he was a wealthy man. His grandmother, Ellie was an attorney. She was feared by many, not by her size as she only stood about 5'2, but her attitude and demeanor was so much bigger and this is what others feared her for.

His grandparents had just got layed down in their bed when a group of men forcefully entered their cabin and shot them both point blank in the head as they laid peacefully asleep. It was a brutal murder and they reasoning for their death is still unknown. Kurt loved his grandparents as they had raised him from birth due to his parents being young and irresponsible. Their death really brought darkness into his life.

It was three days later that his grandparents were placed in their final resting place, the cemetery just outside of their small town. The funeral finished up and the individuals that attended began to walk away from the grave site back to the street. Kurt stood quietly, not showing any tears as he held a much stronger representation of himself. After everyone had got back unto the street he turned around and walked towards an old pine tree. He sat just under the tree with his back leaning against the trunk. He looked up into the sky. It was a very gloomy day. Kurt looked around to make sure no one else was present before dropping his head and releasing tears of pain into his lap. He spent several hours sitting beneath the tree before he heard a voice, a voice that seemed to be so real, his grandfather Allens voice. "Get up son, you are strong and you will pull through." Kurt stood up abruptly and wiped the back of his pants off to get the dirt off.

He walked back to his grandfather's shed, which is where he stayed. His grandfather turned it into a small living space for Kurt after he turned 18 to give him his own space.

As soon as Kurt got into his living space, he opened the cabinet above his bed and grabbed his safe. He popped the lock and grabbed his Colt m1911 that he received from his grandfather on his 16th birthday and tucked it into his waistband.

Kurt needed to relieve some tension and emotions.

He walked into town to a small local shop. Kurt approached the counter and lifted the bottom of his shirt revealing the pistol to the clerk.

Kurt then said, "Place the money from your box into a sack, get it done fast!"

The clerk frantically popped the box and grabbed all of the crisp money before placing into a plastic shop sack. He handed Kurt the sack and put his hands above his head.

Kurt looked in the bag and then at the clerk. "If you speak about this to anyone, life as you know it is done. I have nothing to lose anymore!"

The clerk looked Kurt in the eyes. "You got it." the clerk said with trembling lips.

Kurt stuffed the bag down his baggy shirt and ran out the door.

Kurt looked down at his new outfit he had purchased with the money from the shop robbery. This brought a bit of happiness to him which was great since he was still dwelling on his grandparents death. He thought to himself, "That was so simple." A few days has already passed so he knew he was in the clear in regards to the feds or anyone else not being contacted. "What can I do next, maybe snatch a wealthy woman's purse?" This would be an easy task and allows more time to burn time since his last quote on quote "bad crime." Several wealthy woman line the street daily out shopping.

Kurt grabbed a light jacket and thought about the best way to approach this task.

He made his decision and headed to town.

Kurt got into town and didn't want to look out of the normal so he noticed a farmers market going on. He knew from experience that several wealthy older women would be present. He always noticed that when his grandfather attended these to sell produce from his farm.

"Good Morning sir, can I interest you in any local produce?" he heard from a man's voice behind a stand.

"Morning to you as well, do you have any sweet corn?" Kurt asked the man.

In the corner of his eye he noticed an elderly woman standing alone with a abnormally large designer purse.

"Yes, I do. How many would you like. 2 for a dollar." the man says.

Kurt was focusing so hard on the woman he didn't even hear the man. He looks back not knowing what the man had said before responding, "Yes."

The man chuckled, "Yes, what?"

Now Kurt was embarrassed, "How much are they?"

The man responded, "2 for one dollar."

Kurt had his attention back on the woman but heard the man this time. He came up with an excuse. He reached in his pockets and pulled out nothing.

"I'm sorry, I will have to come back. I have to run and get some cash." Kurt said. He then chuckled under his breath and said, "Literally."

The man looked at Kurt. "Okay son, Don't hesitate to come back."

Kurt smiled before turning around and leaning against a light pole keeping a close eye on the woman waiting for her to be away from the crowd. She approached about three stands purchasing different varieties of produce before leaving the area. Kurt followed from a safe distance attempting to blend in with the usual town foot traffic. The woman stopped at a intersection. She placed her purse against a fire hydrant. She opened her bags to overlook the goods she had just purchased. Kurt looked around quickly before starting at a full sprint and snatching the purse up by the shoulder straps. He ran for dear life before turning into a empty parking lot where a trash dumpster sat. He rummaged through the purse and collected 12 $100 bills, 2 $50 bills and a wad of $1 bills. He tossed the purse into the dumpster and placed the cash in his front right pants pocket before non shulauntly walking back into the streets.

Kurt was not going to continue to dwell on his grandparents death any longer. Things were finally starting to get easier. Could it be the money from his new hobbie. or in other words crimes? Either way, his life was finally starting to shed some light through the darkness of his loss.

New clothes and now a new bike where he could get into town a lot easier then walking. Kurt knew he had to start at the bottom but eventually this would allow him to be brought to the top. He was hoping these crimes were not going to catch up with him. Doing them alone can be a plus but also having a group behind him would allow the crimes to be more organized and washed in the sand after. Was it time for him to find a family to stand behind him?

Kurt hopped on his bike and peddled into town. He saw a man dressed in a very expensive suit smoking a blunt in front of a dry cleaning company. Kurt walked up to the man and said, "Morning sir, new around here. Could you possibly hook me up with something, a job? Not trying to be rude or stereotypical but you look like a wealthy man, so you must be doing something right."

The man took a drag on his blunt before speaking.
