Earlier this evening, my family was attacked by Oliver McTavish as the result of some disputes he and I have been having for the better part of the week. After killing one of my bodyguards, McTavish chose to sleep instead of submit to my questioning. He left me no other choice than to see my former boss and friend killed. I think, perhaps, he knew how I would respond and wanted this; he knew I'd never kill him otherwise. I'm sure there will be many of you that will see this a bid for power within the city of Chicago. Considering McTavish was already planning to step down at the end of this week, it was no more than retaliation. I have nothing further to say about this. Anyone left homeless as a result of his death is to be given 24 hours to find shelter elsewhere. I've instructed my family not to kill anyone that is clearly a member of Badass, Inc. with a few exceptions--Ricone, Valentine and Defiance. They will be killed. That's all. Thanks. |

i dont see how anyone can claim you did this because you are making a grab for power johnny, if oliver attacked your family then you had no other choice family before friends/alliances i just hope you dont rest on your laurels and try to move this world on another notch rest in peace oliver |

Daiye stands up and raises a fist to Johnny in celebration. Thank you for defending us. I am very proud to be apart of a family that actually means something. In the past couple of days we have seen many family heads die and it is with honor that I hold my head strong and strive for the best in these hard times. Johnny is a man that we can all look up to and admire. |

Slightly away from the crowds, a group of men and women stand listening to Johnny Axe head of the State Street Mob speak. From their numbers, Cathy parks walks and raises her voice to be heard over the murmurs and whispers. "Signore Axe, "This news has raised a few eyebrows, but from what I know of you both, such a happening would not have occurred without due cause. "I can also say that The Red Fez Connection will follow suit with yourself regarding the shooting of any ex-members. If I have any exceptions to this, I will talk with you privately on the matter." |

| Question Why give all the other badasses time to find shelter, but Ricone and Valentine must die. What because they tried defending there CL. I can see you wanting to kill Defiance, but hell he just stated his opinion. Valentine and Ricone acted because they felt that they were at war. Isn't that what there supposed to do. | |

And the circle comes to a close. Events that started last week have concluded with this. Oliver did stand up, even if it was too late and too little for what he believed in and to honor those who he authed. To you future leaders....remember, hesitation is termination. |

That's a good point Unstable. Oliver did act too slowly, however, I think we've all seen that he was hardly capable of leading a crew once his best members struck out on their own. Leading isn't for everyone, and in the end, it's best to see those that couldn't stand on their own two feet be removed from a world that requires us to make not only tough decisions, but correct decisions. Congrats JohnnyAxe. Looks like you're the new "big boy" on the block. Here's hoping that doesn't go to your head the way it has others. |
