I guess that I was going to come here eventually, but it seems that I am now nothing more than a caged animal for them and they will try to get to me by using you all. They will try and break me by trying to get to you, but I will not allow that. 

William Buric is heading an investigation on Organized Crime, something that we do not take part in, of course, but I urge you all to be calm and ready for my safe return, for this is not the end of Charlie Pavanno, merely the new beginning.

Charlie Pavanno, Friend, Brother, And Son.

Walking out of the East Cat Cellar, after the argument with his mother, Charlie could do nothing, his cheeks were stained with tears. He could do nothing but think about the times that his father had beaten him, he had gotten over it somewhat, but now it was marking him like a scar. Charlie did not allow his thoughts to plague him too much, but he did have a dinner party to get too.

"Charlie Pavanno?"

Turning around with an arched eyebrow, he looked at the man opposite him, who was dressed in a black suit, he seemed to be waiting for Charlie, seemingly for a long time. Charlie walked forward, looking at the man with a hint of suspicion, kind of knowing who he was, but deciding to play this out.

"Yes? Who are you? You don't seem from around here."

The man chuckled, drawing a look from Charlie, knowing that this guy was not from around here and was obviously here for him. It was not a hit, of course, but definitely something suspicious.

"No Mr. Pavanno, I'm with the F.B.I, I assume your mother told you why I am here..."

Charlie nodded before he looked off into the distance, where he knew that Joe and Ilaria were waiting for him, but now he had other business to attend too and it was not his choice. His eyes started to flutter with tears, his face breaking, he looked truly broken, he turned to the agent before letting out a watery smile.

"You know, you won't get them. I'm just saying, us businessmen and women, do a lot for people. Now, I want you to promise, you will leave Cassandra out of this, you will leave my mother out of this because we both know that she is going to be unable to do what she needs. I want her back in London, where she will be protected and safe. I want Cassandra to go to a university, where she will be away from this life. Can you do that William?"

William Buric, Special Agent on the case of Charlie Pavanno looked at the man differently now, he cared for the people that were close to him and was clearly affected by not being able to protect them anymore, it was almost like he doomed himself to prison already, but there was to be a trial, that one knew he would lose, because of the one person that had not been seen in months.

"I'll do my best Mr. Pavanno, I am not heartless, but I can tell, you are sad, no matter the heinous crimes you have done for your....family. I wish you the best in the week to come, please kneel down and put your hands behind your head."

Charlie did so without hesitation, he had faintly heard William listing his rights and telling him everything else, but it was all a blur to him. all the moments with family had passed through his mind, his freedom was gone, his family was soon to be gone, he was alone...again.
