i agree. i think he was lured there for the specific reason of killing him. 

If anyone's saying he just got in a fight with somebody, there's no way they're correct. A bar fight won't justify someone posing as a body double of a guy dead from some fisticuffs incident. I haven't looked into the specifics much for this incident, but it will sure cause the U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia to come into question, especially with the current administration. With the political polarization present, one side will likely choose to support Saudi Arabia and the other will not. I am not currently sure which one that will be, we will likely see shortly. 

Of course, this could be an incident that actually transcends the current political climate of the U.S., which can be both seen as a positive and negative. In either case, Trump's criticism of the press could have some figures pointed at it to justify international and intra-national consequences on the press, the defense of whom has generally been seen as a traditional American value (think first amendment). 

To answer your question without much direct knowledge on the subject, I doubt Saudi Arabia is a country in which security forces operate separately from the royal family... The only case in which that can be argued is *plausible deniability* but that still means someone over there is gonna have blood on their hands. I'm open to talking more about this if you'd like- in a broader sense- so if you feel like it, hit me up and I'll have a reason to look into it more :)

If the prince of the royal family was involved in this incident he needs to get some better resources because they sure botched up this job.

In Saudis authoritarian government, in my opinion it is highly unlikely that something like this would happened without the crown princes's prior knowledge, I do however believe that the mission was not to kill but to kidnap the journalist, and take him back to Saudi Arabia, where he would of been suppressed through either being killed or jailed. 

This isn't Saudi royal families first violation of human rights, and I highly doubt they will be sanctioned or held accountable for this. At the end of the day we in the 'west' need their 'arab money'

Caming from a family that has basicly has his own family members under house arrest including his own mother. It pretty much screams guilty though the sad thing is while there protected  nothing will ever be done.

IMO the Prince ordered the hit and made it brutal to send a message.
